Stephen J. Anderson is the latest guy to go from total obscurity to viral fame. The latest creation from the young film composer is a do-it-yourself synthesizer made from old electronics and kitchen supplies.

“It’s going to be pretty epic,” Stephen says at the start of the video. In what he calls “Kitchen Music”, you can see exactly how he put everything together. It’s quite impressive that Stephen can make music using soup bowls, a cheese grater, bottles of Pam and a frying egg!

YouTube user Barackdubs has uploaded footage of Obama on the podium to create the entire delivery of Lady Gaga’s hit anthem “Born This Way”.

Obama doesn’t actually sing but his voice and all the words found in the “Born This Way” lyrics are used. It’s a genius creation that must have taken the YouTube user hours to complete.

Obama and Lady Gaga may never perform together on stage but they have met in person to discuss anti-bullying campaigns for high school across North America.

The Obamas are rubbing with celebrities all over the place. First Lady Michelle Obama is set to appear in an upcoming episode of the kid’s show “iCarly”. She won’t be singing, though.

Long time friends Tyler and Tripp jumped on the “Shit” bandwagon and thought up some hilarious and accurate things nobody would ever say.

The 11th Annual Improv Everywhere No Pants Subway Ride took place over the weekend.  Over 4,000 bottomless people participated in New York City along with 59 other cities in 27 countries around the world.

On any other day, if you forget to don on your dress pants out in public you may get arrested, but last Saturday was the exception.

Since “Shit Girls Say” flooded the internet last month, a ton of spoofs were uploaded on YouTube: “Shit Black Girls Say”, “Shit Gay Guy Say”, and now, “Shit Single Girls Say”.

Written and directed by Jenn Hovick, Brittany Ludwig and Derrick Cole, Derrick sports a long red wig and acts out a bunch of scenarios single girls would find themselves in.

He delivers such lines as “what’s wrong with a fairytale wedding?” and “Liz Lemon is my hero!”

This video does shed some truth as what goes inside the head of a single lady. We most certainly do gush about Ryan Gosling and complain about the guys we meet in bars. And we do say the words “so” “like” and “bang” more than the average girl.

The only thing that’s really questionable is how Derrick believes all single girls say “I like being single, it’s fun”. That’s always a toss-up, if you ask me.

We may at times have favour one parent over the other, but it must hurt to hear the honest truth from your own child.

One father saw the humour in it all and posted a cute YouTube video of his baby daughter telling him who her favourite is: mom.

It first started with a Twitter account, and now there’s an official video poking fun at the way girls communicate. Shit Girls Say was started by Graydon Sheppard and Kyle Humphrey. Graydon also appears as a girl in the video, alongside actress and musician Juliette Lewis.

As a girl, I can safely say the video is a fair representation of the shit we say. We DO complain about nearly everything, all the time, and we DO expect everyone to listen to us when we talk about mundane things.

“Can you fix my computer?” is often heard at work or at school. We don’t really know much about computers other than checking email and updating Facebook statuses.

“Could you not do that please?” is vocalized a lot on public buses, food courts, libraries and even churches.

“I had to get up at like, seven in the morning!” is said a lot, specifically around 1 a.m. as we proceed to get shit-fasted at the local bar.

“Wait…did I lock the door?…..Yes, I did!” Forgetting to lock our door or turning off the curling iron are things we tend to forget the most. The Fire Dept. can attest to that.

“Shut up!” is what we say when you actually want you to keep on spilling the beans on that slutty girl on campus.

“AHHHHHWEUIHIURHTEEHEEHEEHEEYAYYAYAYAY!” is our way of greeting one another. Deal with it.

“I’m like, not even joking right now” is code for we’re totally joking. I’m not even joking.

While performing in Australia, Rebecca Black did an interview to warn people about YouTube.

“What you put on there is permanent, so make sure you have very much pride in what you put on,” Black told news.com.au.

“You never know what’s going to happen. It could get two views or it could get a million views.”

In the months since, “Friday” has gone to notch up more than 167 million views and Black has become the target of death threats.

Nevertheless, things seem to be working out for Rebecca.

Mac got the attention of Donald after his “Donald Trump” video got over 20 million views on YouTube.

“It’s named ‘Donald Trump.’ Maybe he should pay me a lot of money,” says Donald. “I am proud of him. “I haven’t actually seen the language. It’s a little bit hard to understand on the song itself.  But this kid is the new Eminem. Everybody says he’s fantastic.”

We don’t think Mac liked the Eminem comparison. When we interviewed Mac one of the conditions of the interview was not comparing him to Eminem.

We hope you haven’t been looking for any Justin Bieber music videos on YouTube today. If so, you will see the videos have been removed for a copyright claim.

It seems a YouTube user got all of the Biebs videos pulled by submitting a copyright claim. The user, iLCreation, submitted a copyright claim on each of Bieber’s videos, including the “Baby” video which has over 600 million views, reports TMZ.

Although everybody knows this is bogus, YouTube automatically pulls videos if there is a copyright claim.

Vevo, who delivers music videos over YouTube, says ”Someone is making false copyright claims against the Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga channels and YouTube has blocked access to the videos as a result. We are working with YouTube to resolve ASAP.”

This is pretty funny, you have to admit that.

Sgt. Scott Moore recently made headlines after actress Mila Kunis accepted his YouTube invitation to accompany him to the Marine Corps Ball held in November.

While he is still serving in Afghanistan, Moore spoke out on his invitation video saying how it started out as a bet.

“It was kind of a bet between me and Marines in my platoon,” he said when asked about how he came up with the idea of the video.

“I told everyone I was going to do it, but they didn’t think I would go through with it.”

But proving everyone wrong, he did it.

“One day we had a couple minutes, and I took another Marine out with me and we shot two takes. The first one was without sunglasses but I was squinting too much because it was so bright, so we shot the one I uploaded to YouTube. The rest of the Marines liked it, so I posted it that day.”

Scott, who has been contacted by Mila’s reps, also revealed that he didn’t have many doubts about scoring the date.

“Sometimes that’s all you need,” he said. “The Marines I work with did their best to spread it around.”

When he landed the date, he admitted, “My initial reaction was disbelief. It’s going to be a great experience to meet her, and it’s going to make the ball more special for everyone.”

Kunis agreed to go with Sgt. Moore to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18 in Greenville, North Carolina after hearing about the YouTube invitation during an interview with Fox411.

After Friends with Benefits co-star Justin Timberlake told her, “You need to do it for your country”, she consulted with her publicist and confirmed, “I’ll do it.”

Just when I thought Mila couldn’t get any cooler, she proved me wrong. It’s so great that she’s doing this as not only will it make Sgt. Moore a happy man, but also several Americans proud as well.  What a great way to do her part as a citizen and serve her country!

Rebecca Black’s infamous ‘Friday’ music video has been pulled from YouTube, reports Billboard.

The video, which received more than 160 million views and 3 million ‘dislikes,’ is no longer available due to a “copyright claim by Rebecca Black.”

Earlier this week, Ark Music Factory, which is the company Black’s parents paid $4,000 to produce the song and video, began charging viewers $2.99 to watch the clip.

Black’s spokesman says the 13-year-old and her team team then sent a takedown notice to YouTube, because of a dispute with the firm.

Lawyers for Black and Ark Music have been fighting over who owns the rights to the song and video, and have removed it until the issues are resolved.

This is actually a blessing in disguise – maybe they will never, ever, put it back onto the internet? And we can all move on and live happy lives.

“It’s Wednesday, Wednesday, gotta get down on Wednesay…” Nope, it just doesn’t work the same way. Oh well!

Rebecca Black has done the unthinkable – according to Gossip Cop, Black’s awesome*cough* music video for “Friday,” has officially become the most disliked video on YouTube in the site’s history, surpassing Justin Bieber’s “Baby” music video’s 1.16 million “dislikes”, with 1.17 million. Congrats, Rebecca, you officially have more haters than Justin Bieber! Now that’s an accomplishment.

However, Bieber still beats black in the fan department, with his 500 million views trumping Black’s mere 64 million.

Apparently, though, none of this is stopping Black from getting a recording contract of her own. Perez Hilton reported that while on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this past Thursday, Ms. Black expressed how “overwhelmed by the sudden burst of attention” her and her daughter are, so Seacrest hooked the singer up with Debra Baum, a manager from DB Entertainment.

Just because she’s signed doesn’t mean that she will be able to sing any better…although I will give the girl credit, her two-second rendition of the American national anthem on Good Morning America was not terrible! She might not be Christina Aguilera, but it didn’t make my ears bleed. That’s a start, right?

Amazon.com the world class website for buying and selling a wide assortment of things has launched a movie studio. As reported by perezhilton.com, Amazon Studios will feature monthly contests and a plethora of community feedback in reference to films.

The studio, which will be run by users, is currently in negotiations with Warner Brothers, but it is the first deal they will look at. If Warner Bros. does not pick up the deal Amazon will try a different studio. It’s an interesting proposal. Perhaps it would be a good decision for Warner Bros who have a number of great film titles under their belt.

Amazon has announced that they will offer $2.7 million total in awards to the top submissions they receive by Dec. 31, 2011. For those who are not involved in the technical aspect of filmmaking, the site will also offer a chance for writers to submit their screenplays. Right now the site is accepting “Test Movie” submissions. The films are required to be be over 70 minutes long, and can be based on any original or submitted script on the website.

I wonder what caused Amazon to develop the idea. Maybe they are facing financial problems due to the gargantuan amount of illegal downloading. Like itunes, Amazon offers a video on-demand service where you can stream movies and tv shows directly to your computer. The new studio also seems like it could be a youtube competitor. So far youtube has been an insurmountable  entity.

With all of the young and aspiring filmmakers out there, this is a good opportunity to get material online and possibly recognized by big names. I guess we’ll have to wait for upcoming “Amazon Sensations.”

For a lot of people, YouTube is just the website that hosts all your favourite cats-wearing-mustaches videos that keep you occupied during a slow day at work. For Lucas Cruikshank, it was the springboard into his untapped comedy and creativity that ultimately led to a pretty hefty contract with Nickelodeon.

“It’s definitely been crazy,” Lucas said in an interview with andPOP. “But I’m just so excited.”

Known better by his Internet alias, an exuberant six-year-old named “Fred,” Cruikshank is one of the most popular personalities on the video site. With his videos nearing 100 million subscribers, he’s just released and album and feature film with more to come on the horizon. Lucas’s character work, after appealing to masses of young people on the popular vlogging site, caught the attention of Nickelodeon back in 2009. The media mogul quickly inked a deal with Cruikshank promising a multi-platform infiltration including an album, movie and television show.

“Fred is always talking about how he wants to be famous,” he explained. “Now we get to see what happens when he actually gets the opportunity.”

So where does inspiration for a character like Fred come from? According to Cruikshank, there’s not one explicit source.  “It was a lot of things. It was mostly because kids around that age don’t really understand the things what teenagers seem to understand.  It was also to poke fun at video bloggers who talk to the camera and act like it’s a person.”

With that simple idea, the Fred character took the site by storm, becoming the first account to officially reach one million subscribers. And though the medium may have temporarily changed, Cruikshank’s managed to maintain quite a bit of creative control, even after signing on with Nickelodeon. “I was obviously an actor and also an executive producer because I created the whole character. The writers would send me a draft of the script and I would add in my comments and tell them what I thought. They were all really open to my creative input.”

So what exactly happens in the movie, you ask? Well, it premiered a few weeks ago on Nickelodeon, but the DVD has just been released and is available in major retail outlets. A spoiler to entice you: Cruikshank puts John Cena, playing Fred’s estranged father, into a headlock.

What’s in the future for Fred? Well, he’ll have to take a backseat to a new character Lucas has been working on. “I can’t wait to reveal a new character, something fresh and new. I actually just signed a deal with Nickelodeon for a sitcom for a new character so I’m excited about that. Right now we’re working on the pilot so I guess I’ll just see what happens.”

We’d like to see what happens too. With motivation, creativity, and positive-mindedness to spare, it goes without saying that Cruikshank has a bright future ahead of him.

Ellen DeGeneres is taking her stint on “American Idol” seriously by proving she is a legit music guru. How is she proving it? She is starting her own record label called eleveneleven and signing YouTube sensation Greyson Chance.

Greyson caught the public eye a few weeks ago after his rendition of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” made waves on YouTube, and he ended up as a guest on Ellen.

In an interview airing Wednesday on her show, Ellen tells Greyson, “When I first met you, I said things are going to change … Now [your YouTube hits] are over 30 million.”

On May 13, DeGeneres introduced Greyson to her audience and famously got Gaga to call him live.

“Greyson, you’re so sweet and so talented, and I was so excited that you covered ‘Paparazzi,’” Gaga told the sixth-grade prodigy during the earlier ‘Ellen’ taping. “Everyone loves you so much. Just keep following your dreams and work really hard, and stay away from girls and be focused.”

PopEater reports that Ellen claims to have signed Greyson for $10,000. This contradicts earlier reports that Interscope had signed the 11 year old.

A bunch of YouTube videos have hit the net carrying a demo recording of Lady Gaga’s hit song “Telephone.” The thing is, the demo is reportedly the voice of Britney Spears because apparently the song was originally written for her.

The leaked demo, which can be heard below, has been confirmed by Rodney “Darkchild” Jenkins to be the voice of Spears herself, reports PerezHilton.

“Just listened and yes its the demo, not a mixed version,” Jenkins said. “I will not leak a mixed version. I am respecting Britney and Jive wishes. I love all of u and I love working with Britney. God bless!”

Jenkins also gave some details about Spears’ upcoming seventh album.

“[Spears manager] Larry Rudolph came to my house and we had an incredible conversation about Britney’s new album,” he said. “We talked about the direction of her album, he gave me some insight into the direction and he wants me to work on stuff. I’m about to put 200 per cent of my focus into writing a new smash for Britney’s new album.

“I think the fans deserve it, I think Britney deserves it and I can’t wait to get back into the studio with Britney. I’m about to go crazy … Since the conversation with Larry Rudolph I’ve studied some stuff from her last album and the Blackout album, and that was great stuff but I’m gonna bring something a little bit greater. I’m gonna give it my all to deliver something that’s crazy … for Britney.”

Hopefully it’s something as popular as “Telephone!”
