It’s not a huge surprise to hear that Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose are making it official and getting hitched. The 24-year-old Grammy nominated rapper and model have been dating for a little over a year and have talked about marriage in the past.
The newly engaged couple broke the news on Twitter with a picture of her bling ring. Rose tweeted “He has made me the Happiest Woman in the world!!!!!”
Wiz Khalifa also tweeted: “She said Yes!!”
Then the duo received tons of congratulatory responses, including one from fellow rapper Mac Miller, who can already foresee wild wedding pastries.

Today in the world of Twitter, Jessica Simpson had trouble identifying whether that queasy feeling in her stomach was her baby or just mere gas. The more likely explanation is that the munchkin was dancing. Nothing gets you moving like her late 90s hit “I Think I’m in Love.” Anyone? Just me?!
More confusion, but this time for The Office’s BJ Novak. We see the slow collapse of his joy when he realizes that it’s actually a leap year and that in fact, tomorrow is still February, or as it’s better known the most depressing month of the year.
Wiz Khalifa wished his mom a happy birthday yesterday and I think it’s safe to say it was a good one. Don’t worry, mama Khalifa has the same tolerance as her son, so she’s pretty much indestructible.
Today, Twitter was harshly divided between those that were doers and those that were feeling a little under the weather. Um, party too much at the Oscars?
First we present Demi Lovato, Ashley Tisdale and Rihanna who are firmly in the stay-under-the-covers camp, though probably for different reasons. While Demi and Rihanna are clearly too tired from the Oscars, Ashley Tisdale is presumably still angry that she wasn’t nominated. Patience Ashley, your day will come. Nicki Minaj was clearly divided from her counterparts. She not only opted to get out of bed and do something, but to make that something drinking margaritas.
Thoughtful insights came from Wiz Khalifa, who wished his mom a happy birthday, and Ryan Seacrest, who is sending a subliminal message to Sacha Baron Cohen. Message: you do not respect me, you are dead to me (okay that might be a stretch). Deadmau5 had my favourite insight of the day because it’s totally true: “How Its Made” segments ALWAYS feature acid clown music. Finally we have Rainn Wilson who dodged a bullet last night. Luckily he caught himself in time before he let himself congratulate the French for The Artist… joking, we love the French!

Apparently Wiz Khalifa loves smoking pot enough to devote an entire song to it. His new song Mary X3 is presumably an ode to marijuana. Take the following lyric for instance: “gettin’ higher than the Bee Gees … we both just stayin’ alivin.”
Mary X3 is just one of Wiz Khalifa’s new songs, which also includes “Morocco” and “My Favorite Song.” The tracks have a spacey vibe to them and like many of his previous songs they feature drugs, alcohol and money.
What do you think of them?

Wiz Khalifa’s new song called “My Favorite Song” tells us something about him. Apparently his favourite song is one he can listen to while spending money. Case in point: “When the sun come up I’m spending money, there’s something I can spend some money too.”
The track is produced by Rob Holladay and features Taylor Gang fellow member Juicy J. A lot of people have been disappointed with his more recent commercialized tracks but this song brings back some of his original draw.

American model Amber Rose became a household name when she dated Kanye West a few years ago. Now, Amber’s moved on with another buzz-worthy rapper, Wiz Khalifa.
In addition to being a model, eyewear designer, Smirnoff Vodka spokesperson and a judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, Amber Rose’s next gig is being a singer. So, of course she’d lean on her hubby to launch her debut single, “Fame”.
The song we grabbed from Perez Hilton is excruciatingly painful to listen to. The chorus is vapid. Amber just keeps repeating “Are you ready for the fame?” No Amber, I’m not ready for your fame. Mainly because you don’t deserve it.
You can listen to the track below.
Wiz Khalifa has become one of the kings of hip/hop, but now a rapper is accusing Wiz of ripping him off. We are sure you have heard of Wiz’s hit “Black and Yellow.” Well a Pennsylvania rapper named Maxamillion says that track is his.
Maxamillion is saying “Black and Yellow” is an obvious rip-off of his own track, “Pink N Yellow.” TMZ reports Wiz is saying that’s complete bullsh*t, because he has never even heard of “Pink N Yellow.” A source says, “Wiz has never heard of this guy … it’s just a plot that happens all the the time to rappers to get money. This is just some no-name rapper who wants to get paid.”
Eitherway, Maxamillion is now suing Wiz for $2.3 Million.
What do you think? Do these tracks sound similar?
It’s high times both Snoop and Wiz as they shoot their music video for “Smokin’ On”.
I’m sure a pound of weed is on a lot of people’s Christmas wish lists this year and unfortunately, the two rappers beat us to it. It doesn’t look like they want to share, judging from the video stills we found on BuzzFeed.
The two who star in the upcoming film, “Mac and Devin Go To High School”, are becoming the Cheech and Chong of our generation.
“A lot of kids growing up don’t understand who Cheech and Chong are. So we’re the modern-day image of them. We’re bringing it back,” Snoop Dogg said in an interview.
The music video for “Smokin’ On” isn’t out just yet but if you haven’t heard the track you can do so now.
It seems one dude isn’t enough for pop singer Ke$ha. In a song that was just leaked on the internet, Ke$ha hooked up with T.I., Lil Wayne, Andre 3000 and Wiz Khalifa for a song appropriately called “Sleazy”.
T.I. doesn’t do much on the track. He just samples his own material from a verse in Nicole Sherzinger’s song “Whatever U Like”. Andre 3000 steps up to the plate after flying under the radar this year. It’s always great to hear him spit a verse or two.
Lil Wayne and Wiz are also standouts in the song. Ke$ha could really learn a thin or two about rapping herself, if she stayed put with these two bonafides rappers.
Check out the new song and let us know what you think of it!
Snoop Dogg, Bruno Mars and Wiz Khalifa have debuted a new track called “Young, Wild & Free”. This will be the official single for Snoop and Wiz’s upcoming film, Mac and Devin Go to High School.
The film which comes out in 2012 has Snoop playing the cool kid, and Wiz playing the nerd.
Khalifa told Billboard, “We’ve got ten songs already and we’re using all ten of them. We’re just doing things that people aren’t doing these days.”
Wiz Khalifa didn’t mean to prank everyone with the “wedding” pictures from September with Amber Rose.
“That’s my baby. She’s always gonna be there, so when we make it happen, we’ll invite everybody,” he told MTV News. “I promise we didn’t do that on purpose,” Wiz said of the wedding-like pictures of him and Amber that popped up on the Internet.
Wiz says the pictures were from a birthday party with Amber and a few friends while in Las Vegas.
“Man, I couldn’t plan nothing like that,” he told MTV News on the BET Hip Hop Awards black carpet. “I just be chilling. I just be wanting to have a good time, smoke, eat a little weed cake and — boom! — we got married.”
MediaTakeOut.com has confirmed Wiz Khalifa has married long time girlfriend Amber Rose. They wed Thursday night in Las Vegas.
This is not completely surprising as Amber is pregnant with Wiz’s child. No word from Kanye about this new marriage. You may recall Amber use to date Kanye.
Congrats to the new married couple!
Wiz Khalifa is cleared of drug charges after a November arrest in North Carolina. Following a show in Everett, North Carolina, Wiz’s bus was pulled over where police found marijuana. Wiz and 9 other men on the bus were charged with trafficking, maintaining a vehicle for sale or storage of marijuana and a misdemeanor offense of possession of drug paraphernalia, reports MTV.
However, the charges were dropped by Prosecutors as only 2 ounces were found, and you need 10 ounces to be charged with trafficking, according to Greenville, North Carolina’s The Daily Reflector.
How do the cops confuse 2 ounces with 10 ounces? We don’t know, but a pretty stupid error by the cops.
Wiz Khalifa, the rapper who came out of nowhere and took the scene over in 2010 with his anthem “Black and Yellow”, had his latest album leaked earlier this week.
“Rolling Papers.” technically the third album from the kid “gettin his stoner on”, features much of the same atmospheric beats and synth-like tones of Deal or No Deal, however “Black and Yellow”, “Get Your Sh!t”, and “No Sleep” will keep pop-purists smitten.
Somewhat of a double-edged sword for Wiz: While the leak is sure to diminish opening-week sales, the hype for the album has been exponentially increased as of late, as it has come out to generally rave reviews. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear Rolling Papers in smoke-filled rooms all across the globe this spring. (Not that I’ll be in those rooms…)
