Congratulations go out to Wiz Khalifa and finance Amber Rose welcomed their baby boy on Thursday! They christened their bundle of joy Sebastian ‘The Bash” Taylor Thomaz. Only parents as cool as Wiz and Amber would give their kid a rap-worthy nickname from the get go.
Amber broke the news on her Instagram with this cute daddy photo.
Wiz followed up with an update on baby Bash’s first day.
Thanx for all the love guys. Bash took his first poop, had a good meal now he’s peacin ?????????

Wiz sat down with andPOP not too long ago to tell us how excited he is to be a dad and told us that he would love to get a Rolls Royce complete with a built-in child-seat and customized paint job.

Congrats to the happy couple!
Although Wiz Khalifa isn’t rushing to go to a lamaze class with his pregnant wife Amber Rose, he’s certainly ready to be a dad — and he’ll even risk personal embarrassment. “If it’s a girl we’re going to paint to the whole car pink,” he said in a new episode of ANDPOP’s Small Talk. “And if it’s a boy, we’re going to black it out like the President of the United States. And I’m going to drive it if it’s the pink one, so you’ll see me in a pink Rolls Royce.”
Turns out, it’s a boy! So you’ll see him in his blinged out car next February.
ANDPOP’s Jordan Bortolotti spoke with the O.N.I.F.C. rapper while he was in Toronto all about parenthood. It sounds like he’s full of wisdom: “I think to be a good dad you have to have good parents first. My parents raised me really well,” he said. “You just have to raise your kids like everyday is a new day, like learn with them. You’re not so much trying to teach them everything.”
Wiz Khalifa told us about the weirdest sh*t he did on his newest album. It involved getting drunk and experimenting with volumes. “That might sound kinda trippy and sh*t but we did it,” he said “and it came out really awesome.” ANDPOP‘s Jordan Bortolotti spoke to the rapper about experimenting with drugs while recording and the state of rap.
“I want it to really be about the music and the swag and about everything that goes into the project,” he said about his newest album, O.N.I.F.C. “You gotta see what’s going on and not only be able to move forward but be able to take from past inspirations — like listening to albums that when I first got CD players, these were the albums I was going and buying. I’m at that point in my career when I really gotta define who I am and how long I’m gonna be here and those artists did that with those albums.”
We all know by now that Wiz Khalifa is pretty much a superhero. Even with a baby on the way (like seriously on the way) with his fiance Amber Rose, he still has time to make music. His new album, O.N.I.F.C., is set to come out on Dec. 4 — but in the meantime, Wiz has released the track titled “The Bluff.” In the song featuring Cam’ron, Wiz talks about his fast, jet-setting life. “I got so much,” he says repeatedly. This might seem a bit arrogant, but Wiz says it in such a sweet and humble way that I can tell he’s being pretty thankful for all that he has.
In true Wiz style, the song wouldn’t be complete without the queuing of a blunt being smoked. But maybe that’s all just a part of the message of the song. The mellow vibe of the track definitely goes with the theme of taking a second to chill and appreciate life. And maybe smoking a little marijuana.
Listen to “The Buff” here:
The first album Wiz Khalifa ever bought with his own money was DMX’s single “Get At Me Dog,” which is pretty trippy considering the Pittsburgh rapper has since toured with X for Rock the Bells and his fiance Amber Rose has a soft spot for the guy.
Wiz was growing up in Pittsburgh and had to save up for the album, which included the clean, regular and instrumental versions as well as “Stop Being Greedy” on the B-side.
“I was doing chores at the time,” Wiz told ANDPOP. “I was in second or third grade probably and had $10. There was this place called Edgewood Towne Centre right up the street from where I lived on the East side of town so I had to walk all the way up the street, all the way up the hill. I got the the Towne Centre, looked at everything and for some reason DMX stood out so I was like ‘I’ll get that one,’ and I loved it.”
Wiz also opened up about getting crazy sh*t stuck up his nose and first learning about doggy-style as a “crazy little man” for an episode of “Way Back When.” Naturally, this resulted in obligatory talk about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, because (duh) Wiz is OBSESSED with the art of ninjutsu.
The following hip hop homage is dedicated to the three Baratheon brothers from Game of Thrones and their claims to the Iron Throne of Westeros. The rap is a parody of Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow,” which makes perfect sense because those are the clan colours.
The nerd-tacular wrap was written and performed by Nathan Cox and Andy Davison with additional vocals by Kyle Henick.
YouTubers are already recommending tracks for future raps. How about a Stark Edition to “Ice Ice Baby?” A Targaryen version to “No Church in the Wild?”

Technically these two new songs aren’t solely by Wiz Khalifa, but he’s featured in both of them and we can’t resist the power of Wiz.
The rapper drives around in a red sports car in Curren$y’s new video “Jet Life,” the second single off the MC’s album The Stoned Immaculate.
Meanwhile, in the Matt Alonzo-directed video for ”Celebration,” Game throws a BBQ with famous friends Wiz, Chris Brown, Tyga and Lil Wayne. Wiz takes his place at a picnic table in a laid back-looking straw hat. The track is from Game’s upcoming album Jesus Piece, which is due out in December.

Amber Rose’s baby bump

Amber Rose Instagramed this photo of her baby bump. The 28-year-old is having the kid with rapper Wiz Khalifa. She commented with the photo: ”Good morning Rosebuds & Rosestuds Our lil wizbud Is growing so fast : )”
Tears of joy!!

“She’s too beautiful. How can I rightfully be her presence?” This fan got a little overwhelmed while meeting Spring Breakers star Selena Gomez. Who wouldn’t? When I saw her at TIFF I nearly wept on the red carpet. But then I didn’t because, you know.
Are we missing something?

It’s either the funniest picture we’ve seen, or the best hidden secret in pop culture. One Direction dolls clearly misplaced on the wrong shelf.

So much HAWTNESS at the MTV Movie Awards last night. But I appreciate the misses too because at least those celebs are taking a fashion risk. Otherwise it’s just plain boring, right?
Winners:
Peplum: Emma Stone & Charlize Theron
Both Emma Stone and Charlize Theron pulled off peplum looks. Theron wins by a thread because her striking red Lanvin dress complements her skin tone perfectly and is a little more fun for the MTV Movie Awards. But Stone won the trailblazer award so you know whatever look she touches is golden.
Vintage-inspired T’s: Wiz Khalifa
Wiz Khalifa wore a Joan Jett shirt (above) and sunglasses indoors because duh! I’m not sure if he’s wearing the top ironically but I NEED. It looks comfortable plus he’s paying respects to one of rock’s legends.
Sneakers: Kristen Stewart

K-Stew always steals my heart because she manages to be fashionable without sacrificing her comfort or individuality. Some old school designers might cringe (Sacrebleu!) at the sight of her sneakers but personally I think she manages to pull them off. Of course, she didn’t change into the sneakers until after the red carpet because her stylist would have died. Love the Guishem dress too.

In case you’re short on your Chris Brown news (blurg) here’s yet another video, this time it’s for “Till I Die.” Brown calls on buds Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa for the visuals and avoids sneering at all costs. Instead he and the guys mess around in the office and ride around in a schmancy car like they’re the definition of cool, yada yada.
The track is from his upcoming album Fortune (out July 3) and he dedicated the video to the Beastie Boys’ MCA. The gesture is well-intentioned but makes it hard to say anything bad about the media-torn Chris Brown. Also, if he didn’t mention that it was in honour of MCA, we wouldn’t have known. He doesn’t exactly capture the spirit of Adam Yauch in the video.

Wiz Khalifa reflects on his rise from the gutter to to a fancy condo in Hollywood in his new video “The Grinder.” In the video, Wiz smokes and drinks with his crew while going down Sunset.
Wiz also addresses his critics: ”Critics comment on how I’m smoking weed and drinking liquor/ Or how I was nominated, but not the winner/ But you should start counting on how much I made this year.”
The track is off his mixtape Taylor Allerdice.
Watch hit here:

With all the work Wiz Khalifa puts into his music, the guy has got to have some downtime. I think it’s a good rule of thumb that you have to balance out the work with the play or else the continuum will be thrown out of order and your work and play will be out of whack. You don’t want that, trust me.
In Khalifa’s Bill Paladino-directed video for “Work Hard, Play Hard” we see tons of people working hard, whether they’re in construction, sports or ballet. Then after their gruelling day they obvs go to the club and throw away at least half of their money on cover and shots (the other probably half goes into RRSPs, mortgage etc).
Khalifa stands by, sometimes draped in an American Flag, and raps: The bigger the bill/ The harder you ball/ Well I’m throwin’ mine/ Cause my money long.”
The track is from his forthcoming album O.N.I.F.C., which is due out Aug. 28.
You think Adam Levine looks dapper in his smart business suit and hipster glasses? Just wait for it, Fugitive Adam Levine is pretty smoking too. In Maroon 5′s new music video “Payphone,” he and his love interest become unexpected criminals after standing up to his bandmates robbers that hold up a bank.
The duo narrowly escape the bullets of the black-hooded thieves and cops in a mad dash to a stolen getaway car that Levine drives off in. Naturally, the snazzy sports car belongs to rapper Wiz Khalifa. A police chase leads to explosions and car wreckages but I won’t tell you whether Levine makes it out alive. The song is the lead single off Maroon 5′s upcoming album Overexposed, which is out on June 26.
Watch it here:

I am truly shocked. Wiz Khalifa arrested for possession of marijuana? No way.
According to TMZ, he tossed the small bag of weed when cops came to his room at a Holiday Inn in Nashville, but they found it. The Metro Nashville Police responded to someone who complained about a strong odour.
Wiz Khalifa, whose songs include “Still Blazin” and “Weed Brownies,” was slapped with a citation and then probably went back to blazing.

When Kanye’s “Way Too Cold” came out we were naturally gushing as he professed his love for Kim Kardashian. On top of bringing the reality star into the song he made jabs at Kris Humphries and gave a shoutout to Wiz Khalifa and his fiance Amber Rose.
“The whole industry wanna f— ya old chick/ Only n—a I got respect for is Wiz,” Kanye rapped.
Wiz Khalifa told New York’s Hot 97 he was shocked Kanye said his name in the song: “I’ve gone a long time without someone saying my name out loud like that. It wasn’t a bad thing, it was just a fact that it was my name, so it was wild,” he said. “But it wasn’t nothing negative. Everyone got positive [feedback] from it, so it’s positive.”
People assumed he and Khalifa had beef because Amber is Kanye’s ex but it turns out there’s no tension and they’ve surprisingly never even met each other!

Maroon 5′s lead single from Overexposed “Payphone” is an infectious pop song that you can expect to have stuck in your head ALL summer. The track features Pittsburgh MC Wiz Khalifa on their poppiest album yet.
Adam Levine, who’s music career has been on the up since The Voice, sings to you: “If happy ever after did exist, I would still be holding you like this.” If you insist.
The album will be out on June 26 and was produced by Max Martin.

Don’t I look fed up, listening to my fave songs over and over again? Not that I don’t love them, but a girl has to get her fill of new songs once in a while. Occasionally a new track will come out to tease me but I need the whole album to satiate me!
Bluntly put, I have an addiction to these artists and I need another album hit. They should really have a support group for these types things, don’t you think?
Here are the upcoming albums that I’m most excited about:
1) Taylor Swift

A new album is said to be in the works, but I still can’t help but shout HURRY UP! You can’t blame me for being impatient because this album is rumoured to be a good one! Taylor even told Vogue that her new album would be about “an earth shattering, not so recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak.”
Taylor can this album possibly be about your painful break up with Jake Gyllenhaal? I can’t wait to hear the juicy details in the form of lyrics. It’s going to be a good one! And even though her track list is not released yet Taylor said she recorded 25 new songs! If Safe & Sound and Eyes Open are any indication how this album will sound, then I can not wait any longer!
2) Kesha

Finally Kesha is back! I know you guys secretly all missed her as much as I did. With a record rumored to be releasing in May, I can only imagine what new adventures this sleazy Diva has gotten herself into. I mean she just finished recording a collaboration with Wayne Coyne about doing acid. I know one thing’s for sure, everyone’s excited and already asking, can it be May yet?
3) Katy Perry

What’s the best way to cure heartbreak? Answer: an awesome album burning the guy who did you wrong! According to Katy her new “music is about to get real f**king dark. You’d never see my face because my hair would be in it.” I love it already! With Russell’s new tell all book and Katy’s new album can this be the start of a feud? I guess we will just have to wait and see! One things for sure everyone have your popcorn ready!
4) Adele Read more…

Chris Brown seems to be getting a lot of help from his friends in the rap and R&B community, shooting out collaborations all over the place. The latest is “Till I Die,” featuring Wiz Khalifa, which is one of the two new singles off his upcoming album Fortune. The song, which is a fast-paced mix of techno and R&B has a drum patterned beat and starts off: “Ratchet, we act hood, but I’m gettin’ money with these white folk.”
Listen to the track below:

Florida duo Urban Noize dropped their remix for Wiz Khalifa’s “No Sleep” and it sounds like an acoustic version of the original. The Rolling Papers remix combines an acoustic guitar and hard-hitting bass to create a relaxed vibe. They took his stand out lyrics and voice and edited it onto the laid back beat, making it perfect for a lazy summer night. We can’t wait to hear what they come up with next.

When Wiz Khalifa tweeted the link to his new mixtape “Taylor Allderdice”around 9 pm on Tuesday and it was so popular that it crashed the website, DatPiff.
Luckily, the tape is back up and running now. It’s in advance of his new studio album O.N.I.F.C, which will be released later this year.
The songs are more in line with the Wiz Khalifa who released “Rolling Papers.” Take the weed-inspired lyrics of Never Been Part II: ”I’m just smoking, living life like in the movies / That I watch in my jacuzzi / Roll another doobie / See what’s newest on Netflix, order another movie.” That same song features Rick Ross and his new fiance Amber Rose.
Also, I love the piano backing Mia Wallace. What’s your fave?
