Texas grandma Pearl Cantrell claims that eating bacon is the secret to a long life. Given that she’s turning 105-years-old, it’s not a statement we’re going to overlook.
Cantrell eats bacon everyday and credits her habit to keeping her young at heart. Bacon maker Oscar Mayer rewarded the centenarian with packages of bacon as delivered by the the company’s famous wiener mobile. Cantrell also got the opportunity to ride the famed hotdog on wheels.
With her as proof of bacon’s goodness, I will say: I’M GOING TO OUTLIVE ALL OF YOU! MUAHAHAHAHA!
Fatherhood, you’re doing it right.
Showing his kids how to have a good time at the stadium, this father goes HAM and pulls out all the moves. From the robot to the air bicycle, this is just a great example of not giving a single f*ck at all.
Carpe Diem, folks.
OH MY NOSTALGIA. Remember owning an N64 console?
At that point, there were only two Pokémon titles available: Pokémon Stadium, and Pokémon Snap. Yes, I know these weren’t the best of the Pokemon games in it’s series, but hey, we were willing to work with what we got. Anyways, YouTube channel Gritty Reboots, takes all the things we know and love, and turns them into movie trailers. This time, they decided to make Pokémon Snap actually epic in this re-imagining.
You might be wondering – how do you even make a trailer about the worst Pokémon game? Well, they did it, and it’s actually really awesome! The animation of the Pokemon, the effects, and an actual plot line seriously makes me want to start a Kickstarter project to get this movie made in real life. Seriously. Take my money. Make it happen.

I’ve never been a big fan of the Harlem Shake because: 1) Flailing around isn’t even close to what the Harlem Shake is and 2) the concept is pretty gosh darn stupid.
But after trying to watch a bunch of different Harlem Shake videos, I finally came across one that I approve of 100 %. In fact, I just think everyone should stop trying after seeing this one.
This might as well be the very last Harlem Shake ever made, but unfortunately for a small minority of us, this trend is probably not going away for another two weeks.

The cat is clearly the winner in this game. His ping pong skills makes my cat’s lazy talents (lounging and scaring my dog) seem even less appealing. He’s a winner.
YouTuber DukieAjah is challenging himself to see how many times he can get rejected for making the most ridiculous requests.
From asking to borrow a $100 from a stranger to demanding a “burger refill”, this man has been pretty successful in his quest until the third day of his challenge.
Going into a Krispy Kreme to request a set of donuts in the shape of the Olympic rings, he was only expecting a big fat “NO.” But to his surprise, the lovely shop manager named Jackie happily obliged and fulfilled his request. And best of all? The doughnuts were on the house!
Someone needs to give this woman a MAJOR promotion. As an employee working in an often unfriendly environment of customer service, Jackie SERIOUSLY went out of her way to make someone’s day.
Pugs rarely do anything exceptionally graceful — I don’t know if it’s their distinct waddle, bulging eyes or scrunched up faces that make them slightly less elegant than other canine breeds (and inevitably more cute). This black pug is the exception to the rule. He bounces up the stairs with such coordination and vigour, you almost feel proud of the little guy who could.
A poor, terrified puppy got lost at sea when the tide came up off the Kent coast and a heroic paddle boarder rescued him. The poor little guy was cold, soaked and disoriented and we’re hoping he was reunited with his owner!! The sheer manliness of this video is overwhelming. An athletic man with an accent rescuing an adorable puppy is almost too much too take.
Whoever said animals don’t have a conscience will eat their words after they watch this video of a pig rescuing a baby goat from the water. The goat is struggling to swim and it’s not looking good, when all of a sudden our pink piglet hero dives in the water like a lifeguard and pushes the goat to the rocks. He goes on with his day like it was no biggie.
RomanAtwood, the same dude behind the epic shake weight prank, decided to prank cops by trying to remove spray paint with an air duster. From far away, it looked like he was spray painting the walls with graffiti but upon further inspection the cops realized he wasn’t doing anything wrong. Their reactions are priceless — a few asked if he’s on “meds” and told him to stop. Surprisingly, most of the cops laughed over it and even tried air dusting the wall too.
Don’t have a house to throw a party in? No biggie, this British guy cracked the code for us and posted his experience on JumpOffTVUK.
Here’s what you have to do:
1. Head to IKEA and scope out the best living-room set-up with couches and home entertainment. Be completely open about your party plans with employees who question you. Everyone is welcome to your house party!!
2. Make sure to dust the counter tops and wipe off any fingerprints from previous customers. You want your temporary home to be clean.
3. Hook up your iPod speakers and play a song. It’s important to choose something with a good beat and that introduces people to the concept of what your doing. A good choice is Meek Mill’s “House Party.” If they didn’t know it was a house party before, they will now.
4. Pull out your booze. You didn’t give people enough time for BYOB so you’re going to have to pre-prepare any gin cocktails you have in mind. In this case, dude went heavy with Jack Daniels.
5. Invite people!! Customers won’t come unless you look like you’re having a fun time. So make sure to dance and smile.
6. When security inevitably crashes your party, make sure to hug all your new friends and say bye.

We considered today’s best viral videos through the lens of wins and fails.
WIN: Teen magician is actually funny
This teen magician gets mega laughs from the audience, but it’s genuine laughter, not a few stifled giggles from his parents and their friends. The magician does the tricks we’re all used to: turning purple ribbons blue and splitting them in two. But we kept watching because of his sense of humor, which is basically in line with a young Sheldon Cooper mixed with Bill from Freaks and Geeks. The kid is also introduced by Neil Patrick Harris, which isn’t too shabby. [reddit]
FAIL: Reporter walks into a pole
This CTV reporter is chasing after a source who doesn’t want to comment on the story. He’s so focused on asking questions that he doesn’t even realize the giant pole right in front of him. Worse, his collision is all caught on camera and then put in slow motion for our benefit. I guess the good thing is, his source stopped to help him up. Maybe he got the story after all?
FAIL… AND THEN WIN! Baby escapes from crib
This mischievous baby was planning his great escape for a while so his mom decided to put a camera in his room to see how it all unfolded. At first the little tyke falls back into his crib but he’s more successful the second time round.

If you’re having troubles getting over the midweek hump, this should help. Upon watching this video of Dergin Tokmak overcoming his disability in an unprecedented display of awesome, your Wednesday slump will be conquered easily.
Unfortunately, most of the information on this guy is in German or Austrian. Thus, what we’ve managed to piece together is this: Derign is a dancer, acrobat and Cirque De Sole alumni. He was diagnosed with Polio but made the disease his b*tch, and the result is what you’re watching right now.
The video, cleverly tagged “crutchstep”, is mind-blowing. I didn’t think it was possible to look cool dancing to dubstep but I’m glad to be proven wrong by something this incredible.
Watch below as Mr. Tokmak (that is how I will be referring to him from now on), puts on an unbelievable display of choreographed acrobatics to a dubstep remix of Avicii’s song Levels and Katy Perry’s E.T.

Understandably, Bieber wanted to win at the Grammys on Sunday, and its understandable he’s a little bummed he didn’t win. And of course millions of little Bieber fans are disappointed about his loss, but Justin is taking the event in stride.
“Yes, I wanted to win, but I had an amazing night and performed with Usher and Jaden. That’s so huge!” Bieber told PopEater.
It’s actually refreshing to see this kid lose at something. Justin has $100 Million in the bank, his own biopic, and millions of screaming fans. Isn’t only fair he give someone else the spotlight for a change? And in all fairness, he did get a fair bit of attention at the Grammys during his performance.
So Justin learned a valuable lesson – you can’t always get your way. He’s growing up!!!!!!
“How to Train Your Dragon” took the box office win with ease, taking in $43.3 Million ($11.5 Million from IMAX)
The performance by the film is not surprising. With amazing 3D animation, a solid plot, and all star cast of voices, “Dragon” was destined to beat the box office. The movie would have even done better at IMAX theatres if it weren’t for a continual strong showing by “Alice in Wonderland.”
Our own Jordan Bortolotti saw the film prior to the release and was brought to tears (and he doesn’t cry easily).
