It’s tradition for a bride to toss her bouquet and whoever catches it will marry next. It just so happened when Demi Lovato attended her former co-star’s wedding this past weekend, she was the one who caught the tossed flowers.

E! reports Demi took her main squeeze Wilmer Valderrama to the wedding of Tiffany Thornton (from Sonny With a Chance) and Christopher Carney. So, could Wilmer be the one Demi walks down the isle with?

Wilmer is 12 years older than Demi which may not seem like a lot but given the fact that Demi’s hasn’t hit her twenties yet, he’s clearly robbing the cradle. The two haven’t publicly declared their love for each other yet. The only thing that has gone public are the photographs taken of the pair kissing occasionally.

I personally don’t believe in the bouquet superstition and Demi doesn’t strike me as a traditional girl. At 19, with her career on the rise, I doubt she’d pass that all up to marry her current fling.

Wilmer Valderrama, best known for playing the hapless Fez on ?That 70s Show,? will reportedly star in the movie version of the police TV series “CHiPs.”

The rights to the series have just been acquired by Warner Bros. Pictures, who recently brought TV staples “Starsky & Hutch” and “The Dukes of Hazzard” to theatres.

According to Variety, Valderrama will take on the role of California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer Francis “Ponch” Poncherello, originally portrayed by Erik Estrada.

Poncherello’s sidekick, Jon Baker ? originally played by actor Larry Wilcox ? has yet to be cast.

The action-comedy also has no producer and no director attached. The script will be penned by Paul Kaplan and Mark Torgove, who are writer-executive producers on “George Lopez.”

The original ?CHiPs? series aired between 1977 and 1983, but has enjoyed a second life in syndication and with worldwide audiences.
