When marrying Robert Pattinson’s character in Breaking Dawn: Part One, Kristin Stewart is wearing a gorgeous long-sleeved white gown designed by Carolina Herrera. A replica gown has just been made by bridal retailer Alfred Angelo for $799, CBC News says.
Considering some wedding gowns prices are in the 5 figure range, 800 bucks is a pretty sweet deal. For all you high-end shoppers, you should be happy to know Herrera will be selling the original dress at her boutiques in New York next year, but the cost is yet to be confirmed. I’d except it to cost as much as a brand new car.
As far as wedding gowns go, the Bella Swan one is actually pretty classic and sophisticated, just like kate Middleton’s infamous long-sleeved gown. No word yet on whether a replica of Edward’s tuxedo will be sold anywhere.
Wiz Khalifa didn’t mean to prank everyone with the “wedding” pictures from September with Amber Rose.
“That’s my baby. She’s always gonna be there, so when we make it happen, we’ll invite everybody,” he told MTV News. “I promise we didn’t do that on purpose,” Wiz said of the wedding-like pictures of him and Amber that popped up on the Internet.
Wiz says the pictures were from a birthday party with Amber and a few friends while in Las Vegas.
“Man, I couldn’t plan nothing like that,” he told MTV News on the BET Hip Hop Awards black carpet. “I just be chilling. I just be wanting to have a good time, smoke, eat a little weed cake and — boom! — we got married.”
Prior to her death, Amy Winehouse was planning to marry boyfriend and film director Reg Traviss.
Reg told The Sun newspaper: “We had spoken about getting married. She had spoken to members of my family about it. It is something that was going to happen.”
The day of Amy’s death, Reg was supposed to attend a wedding with Amy.
He added: “I had appointments on Saturday morning – normal things. A haircut, pick up shoes and my suit for the wedding. I was thinking it was a bit strange she hadn’t called.
“As I left the hairdresser, I saw I had a missed call from Amy’s security guy. She was always misplacing her phone, so I thought she had probably just borrowed his. Shannen Doherty is getting married, and she is letting the whole world share the momentous occasion with a TV show. The actress and her fiancée Kurt Iswarienko have signed on for a new reality series, EW reports.
“People will see a side of Shannen they never expected to see,” says WEtv executive John Miller.
The show will go behind the scenes as the Shannen plans for her big day.
The show is supposed to start airing in January, and will end with the wedding for the first season finale.
Hugh Hefner and fiancee Crystal Harris have called off their wedding, reports CTV.
The couple have canceled their wedding just five days before they were set to walk down the aisle on Saturday, at the Playboy Mansion. Where else?
TMZ reports the two got into an argument over the phone last weekend, which resulted in Harris moving herself out of the mansion. Hef is 85 years old, while Crystal is 25.
Yep, that’s a nice visual. He was 60 when she was born.
The wedding would have been attended by over 300 guests and Harris would have worn a pink Romona Keveza gown.
“No expense is being spared for the wedding. It isn’t even a compromise, because Hef wants Crystal to have the wedding of her dream,” Hugh’s spokesperson Kellie Olisky has previously said.
Hugh has been married twice before, once to Mildred William, whom he had two children with, and then to playmate Kimberley Conrad, whose divorce was finalized in March 2010.

It seems there’s always a wedding to report come Sunday and this week is no different.
People is reporting that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and Candice Crawford were married on Saturday evening at Arlington Hall in Dallas in front of a reported 600 guests.
Romo, who is also famous for being one of Jessica Simpson’s exes, married Crawford in front of a number of Cowyboys players, including: Troy Aikman, Roger Satubach, Dez Bryant and Miles Austin, as well as the team’s owner, Jerry Jones.
Crawford, who is a pageant queen, an anchor for KDAF-TV in Dallas and the younger sister of Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford, began dating Romo shortly after he split from Simpson in 2009. The couple became engaged in December when a 31-year-old Romo proposed to Crawford on her 24th birthday, with an 8-carat yellow diamond engagement ring, which featured a ring of 1-carat diamonds around the centre stone.
Of the wedding, one of People’s sources said “It was perfect! From the ceremony in beautiful white, to a vibrant after-party and great music selected by Tony himself.”
And with a reception menu including such items as short ribs and pizza, Romo no doubt kept all his football player pals happy. Out-of-town guests were also accommodated with expensive gift bags including: A Neiman Marcus gift card, assorted treats from Great One Cookies, a Mix of the Month CD by DJ Lucy Wrubel, a miniature bottle of Moet champagne, a box of Dude Sweet Chocolates, gourmet popcorn, chips and salsa, “Killer Pecans” from Bandera Foods, Voss bottled water, and an assortment of Kiehl’s beauty and body products.

Kim Kardashian is now engaged to New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries after six months of dating. The couple has made their announcement on the cover of People magazine. Of course they did.
The article reveals that Kardashian walked into her Beverly Hills home May 18 to find Humphries waiting in her bedroom on a bended knee with four words written in red rose petals: “WILL YOU MARRY ME?”
“I didn’t expect this at all,” Kardashian, 30, says of the proposal. ”I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.”
Humphries popped the question with a custom-designed, 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond sparkler. “I just knew I wanted it to be big,” says Humphries, 26, who, with the help of Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner, planned an intimate family celebration later that evening.
“Kris really didn’t want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he’d be fine if there were mini-horses there,” says Kardashian with a laugh. “Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!”
This is so cute, its gag-worthy. I’m happy Kim found love after her whole Reggy Bush ordeal, so congratulations to the happy couple.
Another weekend, another celebrity marriage!
Actress Sara Rue went her long-time love Kevin Prince at the Bel Air Bay Club in Malibu, Calif. On Saturday confirmed her rep to Us Weekly.
“I’ve never been happier,” the 32-year-old actress said. “I feel so lucky to have found someone as kind, funny and smart as Kevin.
Rue’s wedding planner Rachel Hollis, gave the scoop on the star’s intimate ceremony, which was officiated by a friend of the couple who got ordained specifically for the occasion.
“It’s more personal that way,” said Hollis, who also cited Rue’s love of all things butterflies and hummingbirds as the inspiration for the ceremony.
“One of the first things Sara ever told me was that she was obsessed with butterflies and hummingbirds,” Hollis said. “She loves specifically hummingbirds. She had this idea of a vintage inspired garden party and it evolved from there.”
Rue knew from the time she got engaged to Price in August of 2009 that she wanted her beachside wedding to be “elegant and really intimate” according to Hollis.
“They didn’t invite 700 people. They wanted it to be their closest friends. I think the final guest count is 112.”
Rue, famous for her weight loss on Jenny Craig, also incorporated some not-so-traditional elements into her wedding reception.
“[Sara] has talked a ton about how they met playing beer pong, so they wanted that at the reception. Obviously that is not a traditional reception kind of thing to have!” said Hollis.
The beer pong lovers tried to class-up their table though, with a homemade net of flowers. Ping pong paddles with Rue and Price’s initials followed the couple’s theme as wedding favours for the guests.
“Guests can actually use those to play beer pong later in the night,” said Hollis. “They really want it to be a party.”
Two wedding stories in one day? The more the merrier.
Us Magazine reports the Kings of Leon front man Caleb Followill, married Victoria’s Secret supermodel Lily Aldridge at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California on Thursday. As expected, the couple’s important guests included Followill’s band mates and brothers, Natahan and Jared Followill, as well as his cousin, Matthew Followill.
Just hours before the small ceremony the couple enjoyed a family breakfast together.
Said Us Weekly’s source, “Caleb and Lily had coffee and pastries and everyone sat around chatting. There was a relaxed vibe and everyone took their time eating and taking in the nice weather.”
Once breakfast was over, 25-year-old Aldridge left with a friend to begin getting ready for the 5:30 p.m. ceremony while Followill and his family relaxed by the pool.
“Caleb seemed very relaxed and not nervous at all,” the insider notes.
If I was marrying a Victoria’s Secret Model, I doubt I’d be very nervous either. Followill did try to suit up for his bombshell bride, who wore a custom-designed Vera Wang gown, in a tailored Gucci suit. The couple said their vows just before sunset under a tree adorned with twinkling lights.
“Lily cried throughout the whole thing,” another source told Us Magazine.
“It was a perfect day,” said Followill on Friday.
To end their perfect day, the pair spent their first night as married couple at the Lilac Cottage. For just a mere $1,200 a night, the newlyweds enjoyed a one bedroom cabin featuring a king-sized bed, a masonry fireplace, heated bathroom floors and an outdoor sunken hot tub and rain shower.
Though there have been many new marriages all over headlines as of recent, I think this pair definitely tops the list as most beautiful. Congratulations to the gorgeous couple!
Reese and Jim, LeAnn and Eddie, Kate and Will, make room for the newest newlyweds on the block.
Us Magazine reports that country singers Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert got married Saturday night at the Don Strange Ranch in Boeme, Texas – just north of San Antonio.
Lambert reportedly chose her mother’s wedding dress to wed Shelton in front of about 550 family members and friends. Famous guests at the wedding included Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley and Shelton’s fellow mentor on The Voice, Cee Lo Green. The bride also treated guests to an unusual meal of venison, which she harvested herself.
“I’m married to my best friend!” said 27-year-old Lambert after the ceremony. “Looking forward to a lifetime of laughter.”
“I wanted to be married to Miranda the day I proposed,” added Shelton, 34. “Finally, it’s official!”
Shelton originally proposed to Lambert last May in the woods near Lambert’s home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
“I fumbled it up a little,” he said of the proposal. “It’s funny how you rehearse those things and go over what you want to say, but I probably screwed it up.”
Lambert was likely too elated to notice, insisting “He did a really good job. He’s always nervous around me, though – and that’s how I like it!”
This is Lambert’s first marriage and the second for Shelton who was married to Kaynette Williams from 2006 to 2006.

Well, it’s official! As of Friday, April 22, country singer LeAnn Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian finally tied the knot reports People.
LeAnn’s spokesperson, Rhett Usry, confirmed the news, saying that they couple were, “happily married today surrounded by their closest family and friends. They thank everyone for their well wishes.”
If that wasn’t enough, Rimes, an avid Tweeter, also took to her account to say, “Eddie and I are overwhelmed by the amount of lovely well wishes. We are blessed…I’m Mrs. Cibrian!!!!!”
Nothing says wedded bliss better than a tweet worthy of five exclamation marks.
The country star, 28, wore a gown by Reem Acra, and she and Cibrian, 37, exchanged their personalized vows in front of about 40 guests, including Cibrian’s sons Mason and Jake, from his previous marriage to Brandi Glanville.
People reports that the newlyweds invited guests under the premise that they were only coming to an engagement party. Attendees were no doubt shocked to realize they were actually at the couple’s wedding, an intimate ceremony held at a private estate in California.
The couple has previously endured a lot of controversy, as both Rimes and Cibrian were married at the time they began seeing each other. Their adulterous start was made even worse when Cibrian’s ex-wife, Glanville, began feuding on Twitter with Rimes, after learning of the affair. The Huffington Post reported that the two finally made nice just last week though, to enjoy Cibrian and Glanville’s son, Jake’s, birthday.
Good timing for Rimes, who is obviously elated. She continued her tweet, saying, “So wonderful to wake up as husband and wife. Love to all of you,” and also changed her official website bio to read, “WIFE, Bonus Mom, Friend, Daughter, Caretaker to Everyone I love Dearly, Incredibly Happy Woman….oh yeah, and I do this little thing called music and film.”
Best of luck to Rimes and Cibrian as they attempt marriage again. Hopefully, they disprove the, ‘once a cheater, always a cheater’ theory.
Talk about a rocky start to your wedding. While Michael Buble was tying the knot last week in Buenos Aires to his new wife Luisana, somebody was robbing their house in Argentina.
TMZ reports that the burglars covered up security cameras and cut the lines to the alarm system.
After learning about the burglary, Luisana told local reporters, “I will not let this ruin the happiest day of my life.”

According to UsMagazine.com, Reese Witherspoon and CAA Agent Jim Toth, got married Saturday evening at Witherspoon’s 6-acre ranch in Ojai, California.
The 35-year-old actress donned a custom-designed Monique Lhuillier gown to exchange her vows with the 40-year-old agent, in front of about 120 family members and friends including Alyssa Milano, Tobey Maguire and the newly single Renee Zellweger.
Best friend Heather Rosenfeld acted as the matron of honour, and both her 11-year-old daughter Ava and 7-year-old son Deacon – kids with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe – took part in the processional which played the “Tennessee Waltz” for the bridal party and of course, “Here Comes the Bride” for the actress.
And what ring did Toth put on it? The pair exchanged wedding bands by jeweler William Goldberg, likely to match Witherspoon’s 4 carat, $250,000 diamond engagement ring from the same designer.
The wedding is Witherspoon’s second after divorcing ex-husband Phillippe in 2007 after seven years of marriage. Witherspoon also had a very public relationship and breakup with actor Jake Gyllenhaal, which ended after three years in December of 2009. She and Toth, who has never been married, began dating in January of 2010, and confirmed their engagement on December 28, 2010. Witherspoon debuted her pricey engagement ring roughly a week later at a Laker’s Game.
Says one friend of Toth, who has taken the time to bond with her kids, “He’s a very confident guy who takes care of her.”

Seeing Witherspoon and Phillippe end their marriage was saddening, and seeing her relationship with a younger Gyllenhaal come to an end after 3 years, was disheartening. Was little ol’ Elle Woods ever going to find her perfect man? Though her relationship with Toth may not be a silver-screen romance, I’m happy that Reese finally found her perfect leading man.

90s boy band star Nick Lachey will still be marrying fiancé Vaness Minnillo sometime in the near future, despite no visible signs of a wedding yet.
While hosting an event for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in Las Vegas, Nick opened up about future wedding plans.
“We’re getting there slowly but surely…we’re inching our way along. She looks as good if not better than any of the models you see behind me in a swimsuit,” Lachey explained.
And what better place to talk wedding plans than surrounded by scantily clad models in Vegas!
Well at least they’re not rushing into it, right?
There may be wedding bells in the near future for Paris Hilton. The former reality star turned 30 last week, and called Ryan Seacrest to talk about her big day. The topic of her boyfriend Cy Waits also came up in conversation, and whether they will marry. Paris said, “We love each other very much,” she said, adding with a giggle, “We’ll see what happens.”
The couple were also looking at engagement rings, a source to told PEOPLE. “They shopped for engagement rings….They were really cute together. Paris was making comments about the rings, and joking that her ring has to be at least 24 carats.”
Hopefully she will get a nice big engagement ring to match the Lexus Cy also purchased Paris for her birthday.
It looks like word of the bad economy has finally reached Buckingham palace!
British Royal Prince William and his fiancé, Kate Middleton, have decided to skip the garish, expensive honeymoon following their spring wedding. Instead, the pair have opted for a trip to the picturesque but geographically convenient Isles of Scilly just off the coastal town of Penzance.
Gotta love those lighthouses!
It’s been said that this vacation choice was not only easier on the royal family’s wallet but also made the security detail surrounding the couple far more manageable. After the recent attack on Charles and Camilla, the last thing the royal family needs is another dangerous breach.
It should be a trip down memory lane for William, who used to vacation in the isles when he was younger with brother Harry and his royal parentals, Charles and Diana.

The original Playboy Hugh Hefner is taking yet another trip down the aisle with one of his beautiful playmates.
Radar Online is reporting that the Hef popped the question to Crystal Harris, a 24-year-old and Playboy’s Miss January, on Christmas. The magazine tycoon took to his Twitter account to announce the happy news.
“When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears. This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory,” Hefner microblogged.
The 84-year-old did not mention a set date or location for the ceremony, but we imagine Crystal is already eagerly planning away. After all, why delay a wedding to an octogenarian gazillionaire with dozens of girlfriends who look exactly like you?
