A trick or a treat?

With Halloween just passed I can’t get enough of scary games. You see last year my friends and I all got together and played Dead Space for the PS3. Sure it was a single player experience but we took turns and only played the game after 1 am every Friday leading up to Halloween. It was an insanely fun experience.

This year I got Scooby-Doo! First frights for the Wii. Now it’s no Dead Space but if you think back to when you were a kid(like 6 to10) I’m sure you wanted a slight chill of Halloween and not the full blown horror we all seek these days. Read more…

The CW, the new conglomeration of the WB and UPN networks, unveiled its fall line up today.

Many people were awaiting the announcement to see which shows from each of the two networks would make it on the new one.

Returning shows from the WB are: ?Smallville,? ?7th Heaven,? ?Gilmpre Girls,? ?Beauty and the Geek,? ?One Tree Hill? and ?Supernatural.? Returning shows from the UPN network include ?Everybody Hates Chris,? ?All of Us,? ?Veronica Mars,? ?Girlfriends? and ?America?s Next Top Model.?

New shows include ?The Game? and ?Runaway?. The station will air WWE Smackdown on Friday evenings.

The only real shocker was the return of ?7th Heaven,? as well as the fact the network decided not to pick up ?Aquaman,? a show about the superhero from the creators of ?Smallville?. The network will begin broadcasting in the fall.

Fox has dropped a fourth reason of the loose reality show The Simple Life, the network said Wednesday.

Stars Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are supposedly under contract for a fourth season, but Fox officials said they just don’t have room for it on the schedule.

“In January, we have to accommodate 2 1/2 hours of new programming with 24 and American Idol,” they said in a statement.

But one on-set source said the real reason is that Hilton and Richie just can’t get over their public feud.

“Fox executives were freaking out because their two stars can’t stand each other,” the source said.

Hilton made it clear earlier this year that her and Richie were no longer friends – for reasons that only Richie supposedly knows.

andPOP previously reported that Hilton had tried to get Fox to bring on buddy Kimberley Stewart as a replacement for Richie, but Fox rejected the idea.

Producers of the show still hope production can go ahead and are shopping for another network.

A source says broadcasters NBC and the WB have both shown strong interest in picking up the show as a mid-season replacement.
