There are a couple of places I would never expect supermodel and Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton to ever be seen at, one being a lame school dance. But yet, that’s where she might actually be after she more or less said yes to high school senior Jake Davidson who asked the supermodel out via YouTube.
In his video promposal, he muses that Kate (or Katie) is the “ying to his yang” because he’s 5’9 on a good day, she’s 5’10 (probably without heels), and he reads Sports Illustrated while she’s on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Just a few days after he uploaded the video (on a friend’s account), she responded via Twitter, saying:
“@jakedavidson23:youtube.com/watch?v=NvxqUE…” you can call me Katie if you want! How could I turn down that video! I’ll check my schedule

Which more or less sounds like a “yes” to me if, of course, her schedule allows it.
Lucky guy. He’ll pretty much have the best looking date in the room.

This week, Brittany and Blaine battle it out for Student Body President and Sarah Jessica Parker guest stars as Kurt’s boss at Vogue, Isabelle Klempt.
Here’s what you need to know from last night’s episode, “Makeover”:
1. Blaine’s running for office — Blaine decides to challenge Brittany for her spot as McKinley High’s student body president and chooses Sam AKA Trouty Mouth as his running mate. As soon as Blaine strips off his bow tie and Sam just strips (allowing a brief moment for everyone to appreciate those abs), it was clear that they had the election in the bag.
2. Kurt’s going Vogue — After being out of Ohio for what seems like two minutes, Kurt lands an internship at Vogue.com under editor Isabelle Klempt, played by Ms. New Yorker herself, Sarah Jessica Parker. SJP and NYC go hand in hand, so who better to take Kurt under her wing and show him the ropes? I think this job is perfect for Kurt. Anyone who can rock a hippo brooch belongs at Vogue.
3. Mr. Schuester has a new dream — With a national championship under his belt, Mr. Schuester decides he would make a great addition to the Blue Ribbon Government Panel to put arts back into schools. It would be amazing to give other schools a shot at belting out Journey or Florence, but this job requires him to leave McKinley and I do NOT approve. Glee without Schuester is like Rachel without her voice — it’s just not right.

The day: March 14,1992. Somewhere in the suburbs of Chicago, Shaun Sperling had his Bar Mitzvah and became a man. To mark the occasion, Shaun decided to have a Madonna theme for his celebration. So naturally, he performed a dance to her classic “Vogue” to get the party started.
I’m pretty sure my final exam in kindergarten involved gluing felt daisies on construction paper stems and everybody got an A. If we ever performed a song, we sat in a circle holding hands, passively singing something like “The Wheels On The Bus.” But now I feel robbed that I never got a proper music education at such a young age.
That’s why Mr. Avina is the coolest teacher ever. He taught his kindergarten class Madonna’s “Vogue” for their culmination. I’m astounded that the kids remembered the lyrics and choreography, which includes an intricate set of props, such as fans and hoola hoops.

Don’t I look fed up, listening to my fave songs over and over again? Not that I don’t love them, but a girl has to get her fill of new songs once in a while. Occasionally a new track will come out to tease me but I need the whole album to satiate me!
Bluntly put, I have an addiction to these artists and I need another album hit. They should really have a support group for these types things, don’t you think?
Here are the upcoming albums that I’m most excited about:
1) Taylor Swift

A new album is said to be in the works, but I still can’t help but shout HURRY UP! You can’t blame me for being impatient because this album is rumoured to be a good one! Taylor even told Vogue that her new album would be about “an earth shattering, not so recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak.”
Taylor can this album possibly be about your painful break up with Jake Gyllenhaal? I can’t wait to hear the juicy details in the form of lyrics. It’s going to be a good one! And even though her track list is not released yet Taylor said she recorded 25 new songs! If Safe & Sound and Eyes Open are any indication how this album will sound, then I can not wait any longer!
2) Kesha

Finally Kesha is back! I know you guys secretly all missed her as much as I did. With a record rumored to be releasing in May, I can only imagine what new adventures this sleazy Diva has gotten herself into. I mean she just finished recording a collaboration with Wayne Coyne about doing acid. I know one thing’s for sure, everyone’s excited and already asking, can it be May yet?
3) Katy Perry

What’s the best way to cure heartbreak? Answer: an awesome album burning the guy who did you wrong! According to Katy her new “music is about to get real f**king dark. You’d never see my face because my hair would be in it.” I love it already! With Russell’s new tell all book and Katy’s new album can this be the start of a feud? I guess we will just have to wait and see! One things for sure everyone have your popcorn ready!
4) Adele Read more…
Adele’s gracing the cover of Vogue‘s March issue, just in time for her comeback. She’s looking gorgeous, though a little slim, do you think it’s a Photoshop job?
The photo comes less than a week after she lashed back at Karl Lagerfeld for calling her too fat. Adele’s never bowed to Hollywood pressure before, so we don’t think she would now. Granted, the singer, who won six awards at the Grammys last night, lost weight since her throat surgery. Still , fans are slamming the airbrushed cover, insisting she looks dramatically thinner and that they love her just as she is.
What do you think of it?
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if Disney princesses were real? They’d surely be models because they’re tall, slim and graceful.
Well, Buzzfeed just posted what some of the biggest Disney starlets would look like if they landed magazine covers. Snow White nabs Vogue because she’s the epitome of sophistication. Ariel, the Little Mermaid, is on the cover of Seventeen because she best represents the tween demographic. Pocahontas gets the cover of Nylon because she’s exotic and according to the fashion magazine, “native wear” and fringe is really IN! Jasmine gets paired with Cosmo because….well, her outfit says it all.
Have a look at the Disney covers below. There are more photos at the Buzzfeed website.
Well, if that isn’t a cover, I don’t know what is.
Emma Watson looks stunning on Vogue’s July cover next month. She’s one of the few that can pull off the short hair look, and is definitely rocking it here. It’s a fresh change from Vogue’s usual boring covers – it’s risky, it’s eye-catching, and it’s unique.
In the magazine, the actress reveals that James Franco and Daniel Radcliffe have both been huge supporters in times of trouble.
Franco was apparently a huge help on how to get an education while maintaing a career as an actor.
“It was such a relief to speak to someone who is trying to do the same thing I’m doing,” she told the magazine. “I talked to him about juggling studying and making films and going backward and forward. He’s not afraid or limited by what he fears people will say about it.”
Meanwhile, Radcliffe was apparently playing Cupid to her recent flames.
“We would help each other with relationship advice,” Radcliffe says. “Particularly funny were the moments when we would help each other compose texts to the most recent flames in either of our lives (not too flirty, but not too subtle either!).”
“It was certainly a case of the blind leading the blind, but it was extremely funny.”
Watson is a true class act, and she looks gorgeous here. Well done, Vogue.
Sean Avery isn’t only a celebrity-dating hockey player, he’s also the inspiration for a new film.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, New Line Cinema is working on a film that would detail his recent experience interning at Vogue; his “experiences in the fashion world and the relationships he made there.”
Avery began his internship in May, and among his duties he was a guest editor for MensVogue.com.
There were rumours that while he was there, he was dating Calvin Klein’s 51-year-old ex-wife, Kelly.
Nicole Kidman has called her relationship much more laid-back than her previous marriage to Tom Cruise.
She told Vogue magazine, “Keith and I, we’re more like, ‘Hey’ [she shrugs and smiles]. We just gently, gently sort of fell into each other. We were just two lonely people who went, ‘Ah, there you are.’ I’m so committed to this relationship, and so is he. I don’t have addiction problems, but love is a very powerful force in my life. It’s my fatal flaw and my virtue.”
The couple are expecting a child this summer – an overwhelming emotional ride for Kidman, who has suffered several miscarriages.
“When I first saw the baby on the ultrasound, I started crying,” she said in the interview. “I didn’t think I’d get to experience that in my lifetime. I like the unpredictable nature of it. To feel life growing with you is something very, very special, and I’m going to embrace that completely.”
