It was only a little while ago that the so-called Purity Bear took aim at youths who were sexually active before marriage. Basically the message is that if you have sex before marriage you will regret it and become depressed. Now the Purity Bear is back, convincing a youngin not to give up the goods just because her boyfriend says “I love you.”
The couple is driving home to melodic music after a date. At her driveway, the boy leans in and serenades his date: “It doesn’t have to end tonight. I love you don’t you love me?” Suddenly thunder strikes and a sassy black bear warns the girl that this boy will just dump her like a box of stinky old pizza. “You’d better run girl!”
The video, which has an incredibly high dislike rate on YouTube, claims that two-thirds of young girls wish they had waited longer for sex and that young men who have sex outside of marriage are three times more likely to be chronically depressed. We were so swept up with Valentine’s Day that we didn’t even realize it was the same day as Purity Day.
Those are true diehard fans. After a group of teenage girls were unable to get Justin Bieber tickets in Mexico, they decided to trade their virginity for tickets.
A Mexican newspaper report on this matter has been roughly translated by Uproxx:
The black market of the Internet to get tickets for the concert of Justin Bieber on the Internet has reached the point of offering the first sex in exchange for a concert ticket, as published by the portal sdpnoticias.com.
Real scenes of hysteria were posted on YouTube by girls who could not get a ticket. Now things have gone to another level. According to that reported by the newspaper El Norte, a girl has even offered its first time in exchange for a ticket to see the Canadian artist.
“My virginity for a ticket to Justin Bieber, urgeee me,” wrote a user’s social network Facebook.
In addition, some “vivales” have used to seek to change tickets in exchange for the company of a girl, the same newspaper reported.
Below is a TV report of crazy Mexican girls crying after they couldn’t get tickets. This is Biebermania on a new level.
Oh how we love this family, and their continual dedication to being publicity whores, and their complete lack of talent and grace.
Bristol Palin appeard on Good Morning America this morning to discuss how Levi Johnston “stole” her virginity while she was drunk and underage.
“That’s what it felt like,” Bristol told GMA’s Robin Roberts. “I’m not accusing Levi of date rape or rape at all … I should have never been underage drinking.”
“I should have never gotten myself in a situation like that.”
This is of course shocking news for everyone. We always thought Bristol was responsible and level headed, and we always thought Levi was a delicate and upstanding young man.
We also recently thought that the Earth was flat.

When it comes to movies about teens, there’s a lot of crap out there. The problem with these kinds of movies usually has to do with their delivery of the subject matter; in other words, if the teenage audience can’t relate to a movie about teens, it’s going to flop.
The Virginity Hit’s portrayal of teenage angst, brotherly love, and Matt’s, the main character, quest to lose his virginity and take a ‘virginity hit’ from a special bong, however, is actually a pretty accurate depiction of the modern teen. When it comes to movies, that doesn’t happen very often, and that’s not the only positive genre-alteration that The Virginity Hit has going on.
If you want to spend an hour and a half laughing at a group of guys trying everything that they can think of to get their friend laid then The Virginity Hit is definitely a movie you should check out. The story of Matt losing his virginity quickly becomes one man’s quest for manhood and the satisfying taste of the virginity bong that he wants to experience.
It’s no surprise that The Virginity Hit is successful in the way it shows teenagers, as there aren’t really any big names with big egos in the cast. The unknowns up on the big screen add the rawness and insecurity that is needed to have the characters become not only believable, but relatable.
This movie also makes it easy to connect with and appreciate the struggles of the characters with the way it was shot. The style of the film can be best described as a cinematic take on the popular, handheld (and sometimes) first-person style of shooting that’s seen a lot these days. The story told in The Virginity Hit is pieced together using amateur-style footage as well as cinematic, omniscient shooting, making for a more personal take on the traditional teenage film.
However, at times some of the stylistic elements distract audience out of the hilarity of the film, which is kind of unfortunate because the story is so well structured. Some of the transitions between the omniscient parts and the handheld camera parts seem a little forced and unnecessary, but that’s not to say that it ruins the movie—far from it.
From dysfunctional families and complicated drunk, almost-kind-of-incest sex to hilarious teenage naivety and even a prominent cameo from porn star Sunny Leone, The Virginity Hit is definitely full of laughs and a fresh take on the genre.
Taylor Swift will talk about boys and write about heartbreaks, but she doesn’t believe it is necessary to share personal information about sex and virginity with the media. She tells Allure magazine that “It’s fine to talk about love publicly, but I think when you talk about virginity and sex publicly, people just automatically picture you naked. And as much as I can prevent people from picturing me naked, I’m going to.”
