Charlie Sheen has lost his custody battle against estranged wife Brooke Mueller.
The actor, who was hoping to win primary legal and physical custody of their two-year-old twins Bob and Max after Mueller refused to take a drug test last Friday and entered rehab. His plea was rejected.
Mueller, who was in court, seemed “unsteady on her feet”and “glassy-ed” at the hearing but smiled as she left, according to RadarOnline.com.
Sheen on the other hand, had no comment.
While on tour with his “The Violent Torpedo of Truth” show, Sheen reportedly left after his stop at Connecticut last night to be in L.A. for the hearing this morning to ask a judge for full custody of his sons, and possibly take them on tour with him for the final two weeks of his show.
It was said that Mueller refused a drug test last week, which was required as part of her custody settlement with Sheen. According to TMZ.com, video footage was caught of her hocking items in a pawn shop, generating rumours of a relapse. She later checked into rehab.
Sheen first learned of the news about Mueller during his second show in Toronto. Halfway through his performance , comedian Russell Peters (who co-hosted the Toronto gigs), read the report from TMZ about Mueller refusing a drug test, which the former Two and a Half Men star took to mean that he would be regaining custody of his children.
“I’m in Toronto and I get the best news of my life,” he said.
But seeing that Sheen has lost his custody battle, the actor certainly hasn’t been “winning” lately. His entourage also took a hit as one of his goddesses, porn star Bree Olson, decided to leave the tour, and return to her home in Indiana.
We all know that Charlie Sheen has been Bi-Winning, but tonight at 6 P.M. the Sheenius has invited you to escort him to his show in support of bi-polar awareness.
The former Two and a Half Men star is in town on his ‘Violent Torpedo of Truth’ tour and he tweeted today: “Bipolar Awareness Walk!! Come join me at 6pm and walk with me from The Ritz Carlton to Massey Hall..! Show your support..!! #BIWINNING ybw”
He then tweeted around 11:45 A.M. that he would match dollar for dollar donations through CanadaHelps.org.
His second gig in Toronto tonight is at Massey Hall and will be joined again by local comedian Russell Peters. Following mixed reviews of the show last night, this may or may not be an act of redemption.
Larry Solters, Sheen’s spokesman, said that the decision to have a walk in support of the Organization For Bipolar Affective Disorders Society was spontaneous.
“He just came up with this on his own,” Solters said to The Canadian Press on Friday afternoon. ”He’s trying to create awareness for bipolar and somehow he got hooked up with that organization, OBAD. … This just came about in the last 12 hours.”
The self-proclaimed Vatican Warlock Assassin started the 21-city tour to a disastrous crowd on April 2nd in Detroit, but as since switched up the format.
Actor, athlete, chef, wine connoisseur, cocaine connoisseur, motivational speaker Charlie Sheen, is setting out on a live tour that will reportedly pay him big money. Two and a half Men money.
TMZ is reporting that “the deal is for Charlie to perform on 21 dates. He’ll get 85% of the profits, with Live Nation getting the remaining 15%. Charlie’s cut is projected to average between $250,000 – $275,000 for each show.”
Sheen will also make a percentage of profits from after-party appearances and merchandising vendors, of which apparently 200,000 items have already been shipped.
All in all, it adds up to about $7 million A MONTH for Sheen, for as long as he continues to perform the one hour and fifteen minute “comedy” routine.
“Winning” t-shirts, anyone?
