The Vines, fresh off the release of a greatest hits compilation, are set to unleash new material in the form of their fourth album “Melodia.”

The 14-track album will hit stores in July, though fans will get a preview with the single “He’s A Rocker.”

“Melodia” reunites the Australian garage band with producer Rob Schnapf, who worked with The Vines on their first two albums, 2002’s “Highly Evolved” and 2004’s “Winning Days.”

It is also the band’s first release on their new label, Ivy League Records.

Their former label, Capitol, released a “Best Of” compilation earlier this month, featuring tracks from their first three albums.

Since forming in 1999, The Vines have won praise from critics but have also dealt with line-up changes and volatile behaviour from frontman Craig Nicholls, who was later diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome.
