The NHL lockout left many a fan with a lot of spare time this winter. While most of them filled this gaping hole in their lives with a new sport or reality show marathons, one Chicago family decided to build their own outdoor skating rink and document the process for the world to see.
15,000 gallons of water, 28,000 photos and one catchy techno track later and this is the result. Let’s hope whoever played photographer got a raise in their allowance!
While Halloween can be a joy for some, it’s a stressful time of year for others. As if the slasher films depicting gruesome murders and monsters wasn’t enough to keep you up at night, there’s also the stress of finding a unique Halloween costume in a sea of sexy kittens and pin up girls.
If you need some inspiration, watch this mashup of popular television characters decked out in costumes ranging from sexy Mother Teresa to the Doppler effect. While some of them are just lame (Ross as sputnik?) you gotta love the Wilson Phillips costume. Anyone?

I’m pretty tired of all the Chris Brown bashing, not because I support him (obviously what he did was completely wrong) but because there’s very little worthwhile discussion that’s coming out of the whole thing anymore. Instead of focusing on the core issues (abuse) people are now just hating on him as an excuse to be mean. The guy clearly has deep seeded issues.
Anyway, I still need to post this Vimeo video called “The Real Chris Brown,” in which he talks about being in love with two people. Brown recently broke up with Karrueche Tran and was spotted canoodling with his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna.
Sadly, dude just doesn’t know when to shut his mouth and even worse, he did it this time when he was drunk. He says in the video:
When you share history with somebody and then you fall in love with somebody else it’s kind of difficult. … I don’t wanna hurt either or. I’m not trying [to] be a player… I just care. Too much sometimes.
If Brown wants to bounce back I think he needs to sit down with Oprah (sober) and have an honest conversation rather than talk gibberish in artsy videos.

Sporting a red speedo, Terry Crews teams up with Old Spice once again while flexing a variety of different muscles to make sounds off the drums, saxophone, keyboard, tambourine, guitar — basically anything else is bod is hooked up to. Is there anything this man can’t do? If things couldn’t get any better, wait until the end of the video where you can record your own musical symphony with the help of your keyboard.
Crews even proved his manliness (even though it’s quite clear) on the red carpet premiere for The Expendables 2.
