Who goes to Hawaii carrying $10,000 in cash? Lindsay Lohan, that’s who.

While on a Hawaii vacation this weekend, Lindsay Lohan got her very expensive Chanel purse stolen, TMZ reports. In it, she had her passport, important probation papers, and a boatload of cash.

She left her purse in a car while she stayed at a house party in Laie, Hawaii for about two hours. I’m assuming she was drinking water the whole time out of a red plastic cup?

But don’t be losing sleep over this fiasco. Lindsay’s purse was finally found the next day. Phew! TMZ says a suspicious-looking local was carrying it around town, claiming he found it on the street somewhere.

By being reunited with her pretty Chanel purse – more importantly her passport – Lindsay doesn’t have to worry about missing her upcoming court appearance in California on Wednesday. When she returns safely to the U.S. she’ll be arriving minus the $10,000. It was reportedly missing when she found her purse. Can’t win ‘em all, Lindsay!

When I was 17 , “geting away” with my boyfriend meant stealing mom’s car and hanging out in a Tim Horton’s parking lot. For the lucky Justin and Selena, they steal a private jet and hang out at a Mexican resort.

Just Jarred posted photos of the couple’s vacation in Mexico. They initially went south of the border to participate in Selena’s friend’s wedding. Her former t.v. co-star Shannon Larossi got married on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Selena and Justin looked adorable catching some sun and playing around with the other bridesmaids. They weren’t afraid to show some PDA after the wedding ceremony.

Adele Gives Money To Charity and Loved Ones

Adele gives her money to charity and loved ones, reports Contact Music.

The jazz and blues singer claims she does so because she knows what it is like to struggle.

The 23-year-old singer claims she has had a tough upbringing, so after skyrocketing to fame, she wishes to help those in need.

“The cash has started trickling in, but I don’t come from any money so I help people. I give money to charity and to friends and family,” she says.

Adele hopes to take a break from making music soon, though, and insists she won’t hire help once she is on vacation.

“I have an assistant but I do my own washing. My auntie cleans for me, but I love a good clean as well,” she says to Britain’s Glamour magazine.

“And when all these squillion pounds come in, I’m having a f***ing break so I won’t need any help… I don’t need assistance getting myself to the pub.”

Just another reason to love her – very humble and hardworking. She definitely deserves a break too, and every penny she earns.

John Travolta Plans to Testity

John Travolta will testify in next week’s extortion trial involving the death of his son, Jett. TMZ reports the actor will be travelling to the Bahamas, the location of Jett’s death, to testify on behalf of the prosecution.

Paramedic Tarino Lightbourne and former politician Pleasant Bridgewater are being tried for allegedly demanding $25 million in exchange for not going public with documents authorizing paramedics to take Jett to the hospital via ambulance following a seizure.

Travola and wife Kelly Preston are reportedly outraged by the alleged extortion plot.

Jett, 16, died of a seizure in January during a family vacation to the Bahamas.

Gossip Girl Premiere More WTF? Than OMG!

The cast of Gossip Girl spent the summer on extravagant vacations (in both TV-land and reality), but it seems the rest of the world isn’t too interested in their homecoming.

Thursday’s premiere finished with a 36 per cent decrease in viewers, compared to the 2008 premiere. It’s a shocking drop for a show whose cast spent their time off in the spotlight, generating a real-time version of gossip.

Leighton Meester made the music press recording a single with Cobra Starship and launching her personal MySpace with plans for a debut solo album.

Chace Crawford was voted this summer’s hottest bachelor by People Magazine, beating out the smouldering Robert Pattinson and, unexpectedly, Dwayne Johnson (better known as The Rock).

Then there was the somewhat misleading reports of Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass on GG) getting some male affection from his new co-star Neal Bledsoe, in a spoiler leak that reveals the two in an on-screen liplock.

A show that never skimps on budget, Gossip Girl also picked up mainstream guest-stars Hilary Duff, Tyra Banks and Sonic Youth, carrying on last season’s trend that picked up the likes of No Doubt and cast Michelle Trachtenberg in a permanent role.

You’d think that kind of clout would be enough to draw all of last year’s viewers, not to mention anyone who paid attention to this summer’s celebrity gossip.

It may take a few episodes to remind people GG has routinely been one of the more shocking, OMFG-inducing shows on television. Then again, its loyal viewers could have been seduced by this year’s vampire fetish, True Blood, a series coming fast on the heels of Twilight-mania.

Or it could be that we are getting our fill of the Gossip Girls via their real-life antics in which case Cecily von Ziegesar (author of the original novels) should be pissed.
