Two-piece bikinis are so been there, done that! This year, it’s all about the cutout monokini which is a great compromise between a bikini and a one-piece. It’s perfect for people who want to show off a lot of skin without looking like they actually are. And, it also adds some diversity to your swim wear drawer. Paris Hilton donned an abstract cutout monokini while on vacation in Hawaii, which I absolutely love! It’s low cut but doesn’t reveal too much! You really can’t go wrong with this swim wear pick!
Want to get your monokini swag on? Try these pieces:
Abstract cutout monokini (Forever 21, $24), Yanagita sandals (Aldo Shoes, $60), Straw Hat (H&M, $15), Skylar sunglasses (Urban Outfitters, $14), Gliceria bracelets (Aldo Accessories, $15)
Effortless style is easy to have during the warmer seasons. Mostly because you can just put on a short dress paired with some cute flats and you’re good to go. Emma Watson put the trendy in casual while she was shopping in New York City this week. Love her pairing of the drawstring pants, a simple striped tee and cardigan. Those soft yellow loafers just add to this actress’s effortless style.

It’s spring! Let’s rejoice by busting out that denim dress we’ve been dying to wear. Aside from its epic wearability, denim is one of the biggest trends this season. It’s the one material that keeps revamping itself, fueling our obsession with new prints, washes and construction. And of course it can be paired with almost anything. I am obsessed with Alexa Chung’s pairing of the combat jacket and denim dress. Chic with a grunge twist!

Black. A colour that is perfect for the not-so-glorious weather we’ve been having here in Toronto. Thank you Miranda Kerr for dressing in head-to-toe black this week in New York with a key piece that is trending and very popular this season…leather! Finding the perfect fit in leather pants especially can be tough. My suggestion is to go for leather leggings if you’re having trouble finding pants that are a comfortable fit for your body.

Faux Leather Panel Leggings, Forever21, $28

Jessica Alba is probably one of the most stylish moms in Hollywood. She was spotted with her baby at F&S Fabrics for the Home in Los Angeles earlier this week donning this two-tone jacket with leather sleeves paired with Dr. Martens boots. This look defines comfort and style; both of which Jessica is often seen doing while she’s out and about!

It’s fashion week here in Toronto so why not do it “strike-a-pose” style by getting in touch with your masculine side? Emma Roberts wore a Nanette Lepore “In the Mix” power suit to the Vogue Eyewear and CFDA unveiling of the “Emma” sunglasses in New York last week. She topped off her ultra-chic look with a pair of cream-coloured cat-eye sunglasses and a large orange envelope clutch, which adds a nice pop to this dark grey jacquard pantsuit.

How far do you think people would go for a tacky fisheye camera and a pair of mom jeans? Well, for some California folks, they’re willing to risk their lives.
Because today is Black Friday, stores are slashing prices left, right and centre. This means you can finally impress all your pretentious friends with a new record player for only 50 bucks! You can even get an ugly sweater with cats on them for the price of a latte!
I sure hope Ryan Gosling wasn’t trampled to death. A little birdy told me Mischa Barton had to fight off a Urkel look-alike for some granny glasses. They’re all the rage, you know.
It’s ironic to see this many hipsters partake in Black Friday. Aren’t they away of how mainstream it is? Take a look at the video below of the zombie-like crowd at Thousand Oak Mall in California.
