Bill may be dead, but that doesn’t mean the killing is over.
“Kill Bill” director Quentin Tarantino recently told an Italian talk show that he wants to do a third installment in the film franchise, it just won’t be for a few years yet, according to MTV News.
While on the talk show Tarantino claimed that, “The Bride will fight again!” However, the eccentric film director also said he wanted 10 years to pass before making the third movie, which could see it being released no earlier than 2014.
Why the big gap between films? “Two reasons,” Tarantino said, “One: I think Uma [Thurman] and I needed a 10 year break cause the first one was so hard. And second: I really love the character. And I think she deserves a 10 year release of no fighting and being with her [daughter].”

Pierce Brosnan, Uma Thurman, Kevin McKidd, Sean Bean and Melina Kanakaredes have signed on to play classical Greek gods in the fantasy-adventure “Percy Jackson.”
The Fox 2000 flick is being directed by Chris Columbus (”Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”), who also co-adapted the screenplay from the best-selling children’s novel “The Lightning Thief” by Rick Riordan.
The book, which draws from Greek mythology, follows Poseidon’s half-human son Percy on his “quest across modern America to prevent a war among the gods,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Actor Ethan Hawke and his wife, Ryan Shawhughes welcomed a baby girl on Friday.
According to MSN.com, Hawke’s publicist announced the birth of Clementine Jane Hawke to the Associated Press via email.
Hawke and Shawhughes were married in June. Hawke already has two children with ex-wife Uma Thurman.
Uma Thurman is engaged to her Swiss financier beau, Arpad “Arki” Busson, reports E! News.
According to the actress’s rep, Busson popped the question to Thurman this week while they were in town for Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday bash. Apparently the diamond ring is so big “she can’t fit it through the sleeve of her coat” – a friend of the “Kill Bill” star is quoted as saying.
This will be the star’s third try at marriage. Thurman was previously married to Gary Oldman and later to Ethan Hawke, with whom the couple has two children.
Thurman and Busson have been together since last year. Thurman’s new fiancé has also been previously engaged to Aussie supermodel Elle Macpherson. The couple did have two children together but broke up before tying the knot in 2005.
No word yet on when Thurman and Busson plan to wed.
Uma Thurman may soon be returning to court.
The Hollywood star is in the beginning stages of what appears to be a legal battle with French based cosmetics company Lancôme.
The star is accusing the company of using her image to promote their products on Asian websites and on a Canadian billboard long after her contract with the company expired.
Thurman signed a multimillion dollar deal with the company in 2000. The contract expired in 2005
Lancôme has filed suit in Manhattan Supreme Court to prevent Thurman from suing them.
The suit is asking that a court settle the issue by declaring that Lancôme did not violate Thurman’s contract and that she is not entitled to any money.
Thurman’s lawyer, Bertram Fields said, “Obviously, the French have decided they won’t even try to resolve this amicably, so they have filed this sneak attack.”
Lancôme claims that it did not use Thurman’s image “knowingly or intentionally” and that the web pages were “inadvertently archived” and were not meant to be made public.
Peter Raymond, a lawyer for Lancôme, said that Lancôme is “always amenable to settling.”

A little-known Australian actress has beat out more than 4,000 other auditionees to win the role of Eloise in the upcoming movie based on the beloved children’s book series.
Sydney’s Jordana Beatty, 9, will star in “Eloise in Paris,” playing the precocious six-year-old girl who lives in New York’s ritzy Plaza Hotel with her dog and her turtle, producer HandMade Films announced Wednesday.
“Jordana is a unique combination of funny, feisty, sweet and soulful … all the qualities that were so much the essence of Kay Thompson’s iconic character,” said director Charles Shyer in a statement.
Beatty first began acting in TV and commercials in Australia at the age of four.
“Kill Bill” and “Pulp Fiction” star Uma Thurman will play Eloise’s guardian, Nanny, in the movie.
The character of Eloise made her debut in Thompson’s 1957 bestseller of the same name, illustrated by Hilary Knight. The book was followed by “Eloise in Paris” and “Eloise at Christmastime,” among others.
The series has been adapted to the small screen before, including an animated series and two 2003 TV movies starring Julie Andrews as Nanny.
The upcoming feature will mark Eloise’s first time on the big screen, and producers say they hope it leads to a film franchise.
Filming will begin in August in New York and Paris.
