It was a dark day on April 15 when Nicki Minaj drove her legions of Twitter fans into a deep hole of despair when she quit Twitter. Those Twitter followers can slowly make their way to the light now that the “Superbass” princess has re-activated her account, though she has about 10 million less followers this time.
Minutes before she deactivated her account she got into an online rumble with a fan site she accused of posting illegal music. When she deleted her account she wrote: ”Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f–king bye,”
Minaj said on UK’s The Graham Norton Show ”A voice in my head told me to delete my Twitter and that’s what I did.” However, we all know the real reason was probably because she had the altercation with the fan website.
“I had 11 million followers and I hope they will wait for me,” she told Norton. “I don’t know yet, I’m thinking about it. I miss my Barbz, please bear with me.”
It looks like they didn’t wait though. Either that or Minaj deleted her account altogether, as she only has about 2 million followers right now. Her Twitter count will probably grow exponentially in the next couple days.
What will be her first tweet as a newly minuted Twitterati? We’re hoping it’s something epic, like her lust for men in pink sarongs.
