Jessica Simpson tweeted that she’s starting to think about a new album. She asked her fans for some advice.
“What kind of music would y’all want from me on my next album? Thinking about going back to the studio,” Jess wrote on her Twitter account.
Jessica Simpson is busy these days with her new fiancée and designing jewellery for Zales.
Demi Moore is the ultimate MILF. She’s sexy, smart, beautiful and knows how to use Twitter. And not only that, she’s very liberal with Twitter.
Demi was nice enough to tweet some semi-nude photos of herself. All we can say is Ashton Kutcher is a lucky man, and for a woman pushing 50 years old, Demi is in fantastic shape.
Demi – you are a special lady.
Drake took to Twitter to annouce his next album Take Care will be out October 24th.
Drake spoke to Entertainment Weekly, where he opened up about his team for this new album.
“There are about three or four major opinions that I respect. Obviously, the main one would be [engineer and producer] 40 (Noah Shebib). He’s worked with me every single night I’ve set foot in the studio since Comeback Season. He knows what I’m capable of and he’s not afraid to say “You can do that better” or “That’s it” or “I know you can write a better verse than that.” And Oliver El-Khatib, who has progressed from my friend who just used to advise me on how to dress to a guy who came up with the artwork for So Far Gone to, since he’s such a creative brain, that he’s become one of my managers. Then my DJ Future the Prince has a great ear for music. And probably the most important person in the equation is Hush, who is a friend of mine who grew up rapping in Toronto and he’s present every night. If anyone knows what I’m capable of, it’s Hush. We love rap the same way and we have the same exact ear. So I know he’s hearing what I’m hearing. I never take criticism personally from anyone. I love feedback, but especially when it comes to Hush. He understands rap probably better than anyone else I mentioned. And he’s a close friend of mine.”
Shakira is now the most followed spanish-speaking celebrity on Twitter. She is also the seventh most popular person on the micro-blogging site, with over 8,000,0000 followers.
This means that Shakira is more popular than well known celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Oprah. Shakira also has a huge presence on Facebook and YouTube.
Steve Jobs resigning from Apple is big news, and celebrities were equally shocked and surprised. Below are some Twitter reactions from some notable celebrities:
Arnold Schwarzenegger tweeted, “Steve Jobs is one of California’s greatest innovators. Very few achieved his impact over the last 50 years and probably the next 100 years.”
Alyssa Milano tweeted, ”I want to put a ding in the universe. ~Steve Jobs #quote.”
Harry Shum, Jr. from Glee tweeted, ”Steve Jobs is also one of the few people that I fully got star struck and geeked out when I met him.”
How does Katy Perry fight insomnia? She uses Twitter.
TeenMusic reports Katy was having problems sleeping last night, and turned to her Twitter followers for help. She answered fans questions, which helped her fall asleep.
She wrote, “Oh boi! I have full insomnia! Shall we have a tweety chat? You ask Q’s I’ll give A’s if you like?”
After answering 40 questions, she was exhausted.
“Okay it’s 4am & I’m tweeting whilst eating flaming hot cheetos. I am losing my marbles. Thanks for the Q’s. Hopefully it was fun for u!!!”
Snoop Dogg has hit 4 million Twitter followers, and now he wants to make Twitter history.
Today Snoop will send out a message to his followers, asking all of them to re-tweet. He wants to have the largest re-tweet in history.
Snoop Dogg tells AllHipHop.com, “Hitting four million Twizzles (followers) is a big moment for me and I want to thank all my fans for their continued support. I want to show the world how powerful and influential social media and my fans are, which is why I am attempting to set the world record for the most ‘re-tweets’ on Twitter.”
The Game is off the hook for the Twitter prank. The Game was accused of purposely tweeting the number of the Sheriff’s Department for an internship.
Captain Mike Parker just released a statement, claiming, “The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will not be seeking criminal charges.”
“Based upon our investigation, as well as consultation with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, the LASD considers the criminal investigation into this matter closed.”
The Game claims it was an accident. What do you think?
Miley Cyrus has reached a new plateau in her Twitter career – she now as 2 million followers. Once she reached this milestone, she tweeted, ”Just realized I’m at 2 million! Falling asleep feeling verrryy loved
cheers yall! Happy Sunday funday”
Miley continues to receive support from her fans, although nothing much is happening in her career currently. She really isn’t working on any new music or new TV shows.
Hopefully she can leverage her Twitter support into a new career opportunity. However, don’t feel too bad for her as there are reports she made $48 million in the past year .
The Game claims this was an accident, but it just sounds like he was being a douche. The Game may face criminal charges after he tweeted a possible internship, and gave the local Sheriff Department’s phone number as the contact.
This understandably caused the Sheriff’s phone lines to become clogged, compromising public safety. Most people hung up once they realized it was the police, while others tried to inquire about the opportunity, reports TMZ.
The police finally found out about The Game’s tweet, and Sheriff’s Capt. Mike Parker tweeted at him. The Game also responded.
The cops are now trying to charge the rapper, and rightfully so. This wasn’t an accident - The Game was just trying to be a prick.
John Mayer was in recovery after a dangerous addiction to Twitter. But he is OK now.
Mayer told Rolling Stone, “I realized about a year ago that I couldn’t have a complete thought anymore.”
As for why? Mayer says, “I was a tweetaholic.” Hey, admitting it is the first step!
Mayer explains, “I had four million Twitter followers, and I was always writing on it. And I stopped using Twitter as an outlet and I started using Twitter as the instrument to riff on, and it started to make my mind smaller and smaller and smaller. And I couldn’t write a song.”
Now that he is recovered, Mayer has a new approach to his music. ”Here are the rules for recording this record: No drum machines, no loops, no keyboards to start out with, no excuses, no breaks, no laptops, no nothing.”

As we reported earlier, 50 Cent is in a feud with his label Interscope. The disagreement has gotten so bad that his new album won’t be released.
50 Tweeted on Tuesday, “Man I’m not releasing a album i can’t believe interscope is this f*cked up right now. I apologize to all my fans.” In a separate tweet, the rapper continued, “I will work with other artist on [their] projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time [too] many.”
However 50 is not going to stay standing still. Instead he is going to focus on his film. He Tweeted, “I’m gonna finish writing the film I promised to release with the album. Ill shoot it in sept I’m gonna put energy into that.”
Keri Hilson got some slack on Twitter for posting what some say is an inappropriate picture and comment. Hilson posted a Twitpic of an Amy Winehouse lookalike.
Keri tweeted: “Gasp! Amy Winehouse resurrected to party w/me!!! (seriously, uncanny resemblance).” People were not amused by the comment, and many people Tweeted back that the photo wasn’t cool.
Keri responded with:
“Come on, I mean no harm. All due respect. But really the resemblance freaked me out this was simply the best tribute ever. #RIPAMYWINEHOUSE. I apologize 2 anyone who might’ve taken it the wrong way. I had no ill intent, but I understand how it appears insensitive… my bad twitterville. For real.”
We think this was blown a tad out of proportion. It might have been a tad soon to post that picture, but we don’t think Keri Hilson was intending to make fun of Amy’s death.
50 Cent is fighting with his record label Interscope, and is threatening not to release anymore music. 50 feels the label is moving too slow and not working hard enough.
50 posted to his Twitter, “Man I’m not releasing an album… I can’t believe Interscope is this f**ked up right now. I apologize to all my fans.
“I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time to (too) many… they can’t seem to get it right when it comes to me.”
50 has so much money he doesn’t even need to release anymore music. Off Vitamin Water alone that guy has money to burn.
While many attended the extravagant soiree hosted by Kris Jenner, gal pal Kelly Osbourne remained absent at Kim Kardashian’s bridal shower on Saturday, reports E! Online.
Osbourne, who even Tweeted her excitement for the party earlier that day, backed out in the last minute following the announcement of the death of her good friend, Amy Winehouse’s death. “good morning getting reedy for a very exciting wedding shower for the worlds most beautiful bride to be @KimKardashian i cant wait to see u!” Osbournce had Tweeted.
However, among those who attended were singer Demi Lovato, tennis champ Serena Williams, and former Spice Girl Mel B, who all took to their Twitter accounts as well following the event.
“Had such a fun time at @KimKardashian‘s bridal shower. God that family is gorgeous!” Tweeted Demi, while Williams gushed, ”@KimKardashian you looked radiant today.love u enjoy this moment. Always amazing seeing you and @KhloeKardashian and @kourtneykardsh.” Even Mel B found time to sign onto her account, saying, ”what a busy day today,i went to @KimKardashian bridal shower then @DENISE_RICHARDS baby shower ahhh i am sooooo tired right now!!”
Shortly after the party, Kim jumped on a plain air-bound to Las Vegas, where the bachelorette-party festivities continued. Sounds like a busy weekend – if we’re exhausted just reading about it, imagine how Kim feels!

I don’t know why it’s bothering me so much. Sometimes I think this job will be the death of us all, or at least the emotional death of us all.”
Mark Ronson (@iamMarkRonson): “she was my musical soulmate & like a sister to me. this is one of the saddest days of my life”

Mark Hoppus sent out a Tweet saying, “ATTENTION!!! Up All Night premiere is being moved up to today in the next few hours!!! Stay tuned!!! Please RT!!”
Although we are sure you are excited, Hoppus is even more stoked. In an email interview with MTV News, Hoppus said the following:
“We’re all so stoked to finally have music out that people can listen to. I think I’m probably more excited than anyone else in the world for the new single,” Hoppus wrote. ” ‘Up All Night’ contains elements of everything we’ve done in Blink-182, and pushes further than we’ve gone before. Can’t wait for everyone to check it out.”
What’s one of the goals in the music business? Longevity. Nobody wants to be a one hit wonder, and everyone wants to stand the test of time. Yellowcard has been at it since 1997, so they have certainly proven they have staying power. And with their recent release “When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes,” they may stay around for a while longer. We spoke with Sean Mackin about how they are trying to outlast U2 and The Rolling Stones.
