Are you doing anything next Thursday, November 3 at 7:56 p.m. ET? If not, mark it on your calendar.
Three of Twilight‘s biggest stars, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will appear on MTV to introduce a never-seen-before clip of the highly anticipated blockbuster film, Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.
The trio will also stick around after the clip to participate in a lengthy Q&A session hosted by MTV’s Josh Horowitz. When the three are together in the same room you know things will get very intimate and interesting. We like how anything can happen during this MTV special. KStew, Taylor and RPattz are never a dull moment.
Bad news for Twilight and Bruno Mars fans – his video for “It Will Rain” has been delayed. The video was supposed to debut on MTV and MTV.com this Wednesday. Of course “It Will Rain” was the first single from the Breaking Dawn – Part 1 soundtrack.
“Hey guys, I’m still working on the ‘It Will Rain’ video,” Mars wrote. “The MTV premiere will happen in a couple weeks. Be patient for ya boy. Love y’all.”
Apparently the reason for the delay is simply the production is behind schedule. However, the good news is Christina Perri will be debuting the video for “A Thousand Years,” which is also on the Breaking Dawn soundtrack.
We will continue to wait patiently……
For the film adaptation of the Green Day album and Broadway musical, American Idiot, the band is rooting for one vampire to take the lead.
Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said Robert Pattinson would be the ideal actor to star in the lead role.
“I’m gonna say that kid in Twilight. He’s a good actor. There’s still more to come with that kid,” Armstrong told reporters a few years ago.
MTV says the only reason this quote is being resurrected now is because the film’s beginning the preproduction phase and casting has not been made yet. So, Twilight fans might be seeing Edward on the big screen again, only this time, less fangs and more jazz hands.
Glamour’s 50 Sexiest Men poll has come out, and for the third straight year, Robert Pattinson tops the list. His co-star Taylor Lautner came in a close second.

Although getting included on the Breaking Dawn soundtrack is huge, The Joy Formidable aren’t fazed. In fact they aren’t that familiar with Twilight, and they have no idea what they are in for.
“I can’t say I’ve ever read one. I haven’t seen the films either, but I have heard the soundtracks, and I was familiar with some of the songs, you know, Metric and the Black Keys,” frontwoman Ritzy Bryan told MTV News. “So I was more aware of the musical side of ‘Twilight’ than I was the books or the movies. Actually, I know very little [about the books]. I know they’re about vampires, and I know they’ve connected very much with an audience … so they’re obviously much enjoyed by a lot of people.”
That’s crazy!
BooBoo Stewart is showing off his abs in the upcoming issue of Troix Magazine.
The 17 year old actor had the photo shoot in the haunted Linda Vista Hospital in Los Angeles.
On Sunday, BooBoo also received the Rising Star Award at the 17th Annual Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival.

Twilight Author, Stephenie Meyer will be producing the Jane Austen-inspired Austenland, an adaptation of the Shannon Hale novel according to MTV News.
The movie is about a woman who ruins her love life due to her obsession with Mr. Darcy. She goes to Austenland, which is an Austen-themed resort in England and falls for the actor who plays Mr. Darcy at this resort.
The cast of the film has not been finalized but so far includes Keri Russell, J.J. Field, Bret McKenzie, Jennifer Coolidge, Jane Seymour, Rupert Vansittart and James Callis.
Not only will Meyer be making her debut outside the world of Forks, but newcomer Jerusha Hess will be directing the film.
Meyer says that Twilight is inspired by Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, so much to the point where every so often, Bella’s character in the book compares her relationship with Edward to Elizabeth’s relationship with Mr. Darcy.
Meyer went into producing with the final two movies of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn, and will also produce the adaptation of her book, The Host.
Looks like Meyer is looking for non-vampire jobs since the finale of the Twilight series that made her millions is quickly approaching.
Breaking Dawn part 1 is set to hit theatres this November but fans will have to wait a full year for the final installment which will be released fall 2012.
Kristen Stewart has just picked up a big-time acting award over in Europe, reports E Online.
The ‘Twilight’ actress did not win an award for her acting as Bella, though. Stewart was named Best Actress at the Milan International Film Festival for her gritty role in the indie flick ‘Welcome to the Rileys.’
In the film, Stewart plays Mallory, a 16-year-old stripper who gets taken in by a couple whose marriage is on the rocks (played by James Gandolfini and Oscar-winning Melissa Leo.)
“I did some pole dancing,” Stewart said. “I got bruises all over my legs. I tore myself up doing it. It sucked.”
“The more I saw it, the more I wanted it,” she added. “It was like a weird, self-hating kind of thing.”
Wow, guess Stewart does have it in her to act. I haven’t seen the film, so I can’t judge, but the role sounds interesting. Congrads to her!
Twilight and Harry Potter fans around the world unite – it’s a wizard and vampire match made in heaven!
Ginny Weasley and Caius/Gellert Grindelwald…we mean, Bonnie Wright and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows co-star Jamie Campbell Bower…have decided to make their love official by announcing that they are…wait for it…engaged!
Although the engagement might seem premature considering the stars’ ages – Wright is only 19 and Campbell Bower is 21 – we are extremely happy for the couple who seem to be genuinely happy!
‘We are all absolutely shocked and surprised and can’t believe that Jamie has asked Bonnie to marry him,” a source said, according to Perez Hilton. “They met on the set of the movie and Jamie fell for Bonnie really badly. He says they are completely in love. It all seems very whirlwind, but they both say it’s the real deal. All he has told us is that he asked her to marry him and Bonnie said yes. He is chuffed to bits and neither of them seem to have any doubts that they are rushing in too soon. We have asked them if it is for real and they have said yes. They are both very professional, so when they are filming, there is no smooching or playing around. Also they are not really in the same scenes. Jamie is often on the set just to watch Bonnie and spend time with her between takes.’”
After denying rumours that the two were dating back in October, Wright confessed to Ok!, “Yes, we’re dating. We’ve been seeing each other for a few months, it’s good. We’re going to the BAFTAs together on Sunday.”
According to Perez Hilton, Wright refused to release any details of the wedding plans as of yet, but has admitted that she and her hubby-to-be are having a “wonderful, wonderful” time together. How wonderful! We could not be more excited for the happy couple, and wish them the all the best!
Contemporary society seems to be crazed for all things supernatural. In the last 6 or so years, the Twilight saga has reached new heights popularity and we’ve witnessed a sudden influx of brooding creatures of the night on all media fronts. We have “True Blood”, “The Vampire Diaries”, “Supernatural”, and if that isn’t enough MTV has just premiered the trailer for its new series “Teen Wolf”.
MTV.com writes that the show will be a ”modern spin on the cult-classic ’80s hit”. The 1985 film, Teen Wolf, starring Michael J. Fox is a campy teenage comedy, but the MTV series is said to depart from the show and feature much darker elements and a sexier love story.
The show is centered on Scott McCall, played by Tyler Posey, a high school outsider who is convinced by his best friend to search for a dead body in the local forest. After he gets attacked by a “creature” and narrowly escapes with a gaping bite wound, he starts to notice sudden changes and realizes that he is no longer an average teenager.
Despite those who are Team Jacob, there still seems to be an overwhelming amount of vampires swarming, so let’s let the wolves have a shot!
Check out the trailer:
We all know the story: girl wears a red cape, is being followed by a wolf. She then visits her grandmother, her grandmother is the wolf. Or something like that. But all this goes out the window in Catherine Hardwicke’s adaptation of the classic “Red Riding Hood.”
Let’s start with the positive. Hardwicke, the director of the film who’s also directed for “Twilight,” delivers a visually stunning film. It captures great North American landscape, and the film’s forte definitely lies its cinematography and visual appeal. I absolutely commend her artistic decisions and direction she took within the story. I mean, contrasting Amanda Seyfried’s gentle blond hair and piercing blue eyes with that dramatic red cape. Heaven on screen. In fact, Seyfried is genuinely what saves the film from disaster itself – her understated acting is not only realistic but saves the movie from being cheesy.
But let’s move into what’s wrong with the film. Although the movie has its twists and turns that keep it interesting, the story itself suffers from an identity crisis. Set in a medieval village that is haunted by a werewolf, a young girl (Seyfried) falls for an orphaned woodcutter (Shiloh Fernandez), much to her family’s displeasure. So is the movie a thriller? A love story? A dark comedy? It dabbles in a bit of all three. There is a certain melodramatic love tension that occurs between the two young hotties, then there are brutal wolf attacks on the village people, and then there are clever allusions to the original fairytale. But it’s all too much. Pick on one theme, and make it great.
I saw this movie with my friend, and we left feeling neutral. It wasn’t a bad movie, in fact, we both said it could have been a lot of worse so we respected the fact that they made it interesting. But then again, the movie wasn’t great. They could have been much more shocking with how they changed the story, they could have made way more clever connections to the original, and besides Seyfried, the acting could have been better.
But for what the movie is, a teenage love-action story, the movie achieves its goal and shouldn’t be taken too seriously. I give it a 2.5 out of 5, smack dab in the middle. Not great, not horrid.
Don’t worry fans, they’re still not breaking up! Just because Kevin has gotten married and disappeared from the world, Nick has been working on his acting and producing songs, and Joe has been working on his solo album, it still doesn’t mean that the trio are separating! Of course not.
Where have these three brothers been, you may ask? Valid question. But it seems we have found one of them! Joe Jonas can be seen adorning this month’s issue of Details magazine. And might we say, he is looking mighty fine!
In the article, Jonas dishes about breaking out of the teen-idol shell and making a name for himself, sans Nick and Kevin.
“I’m growing up, the fans are growing up,” Joe told Details. “I’ve gone through a lot of stuff in my life so far. There are stories I haven’t really been able to tell. When you’re writing with three people, you wind up with a sound that might be—not average—but, you know, expected.”
The article, entitled “Joe Goes it Alone” (but remember, they’re NOT breaking up), goes on to express Joe’s feelings of going solo:
“We’re not breaking up, we’re just taking a break,” Joe says. “I really have a hope for the fans that got older and went, ‘You know what, I’m really not into the Jonas Brothers anymore,’ that I’m able to catch their ear again with my project and they’re able to go, like, ‘Hey, this is cool stuff, I’m happy listening to this, I’m not embarrassed listening to this.’”
According to Perez Hilton, Joe recently opened up about his upcoming album, and working with producer Danja:
“I think for me the biggest influences are Daft Punk. I love their music. There’s a guy, Frankmusik, out of London, a lot of electro DJs out in Europe are doing some cool stuff right now. I just listen to a bunch of stuff you dance to, kind of electro-based. A lot of stuff that’s so amazing [that] you can create on the computer. I think, for both of us, we are huge fans of the new ‘Tron‘ movie. To be able to go on a musical journey for a while and finally with finding Danja and working with him, we’ve been able to collaborate on something that really works for me. And to find me and not try to mold it into something it’s not, to try and be myself and my music and kind of tell stories and be honest and just have something … when people hear it, hopefully they’ll be able to dance to it and have a good time.”
Hmm…this sounds extremely different from the usual Jonas melodies, making me sceptical to believe it completely. But one thing’s for sure; I will be dancing when this album comes out!
“It’s Joe’s album, it’s not just something put together for him,” Danja told Details. “He’s collaborating with the writing. He’s very different from what you’d expect. All I can say is he’s an adult man. He has a rock-star edge about him.”
Will it be good, will it be bad; will it makes our ears bleed, or leave us singing our praises? So many questions, so little answers, especially keeping in mind that Hollywood Records promised this album in early 2011. Reality check, it’s already mid-March. So where is it?!
We’re sure you’ve all been counting down the days until the next Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn Part 1 opens in theatres (November 18th for those not in the know). Well, it looks like the people over at Summit Entertainment have decided to reward the patience of Twihards everywhere with an exclusive snap of Edward and Bella – canoodling in bed!
Actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart bear all in the next installment as their on-screen counterparts finally tie the knot and have an emotional honeymoon filled with long walks on the beach, staring deeply into each other’s eyes, and lots and lots of beautiful, respectful intercourse.
Sounds riveting!
Stephenie Meyer must be rolling in her grave, or at least the fictional vampires of the Twilight series most certainly are. A recent report on PerezHilton.com claims that Meyer failed to make the top ten in a recent poll on America’s favorite authors.
Beloved writer, Stephen King, was named America’s Favorite Author followed by James Patterson and John Grisham. I wonder what Meyer has to say about King? However, she probably hasn’t read many of his novels, they contain too much sex and blasphemy for her tastes (clearly not enough blood though). Meyer probably staked herself in the heart when she heard the bad news.
I guess America just isn’t progressive enough for wholesome vampire tales. America just wants wholesome wizard tales. Meyer should hook up with J.K. Rowling for some tips. Maybe she can crack the top ten next year. If not, well then she’ll have to start working days and give the night shift up.
When filming “New Moon”, Robert Pattinson needed some extra protection from the screaming fans. So producers of the film hired some Canadian mounties, reports RadarOnline.com.
“It was an unusual mission but our remit was to keep the fans off the set,” Constable Baillant told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Everything went well on the first day but then a group of teenage girls got a little too close when the filming moved to the Long Beach area of the island.”
“They were totally miffed with us when we told them that they could not get any closer, however, their spirits lifted when Kristin Stewart came over to pose for a few photographs with them,” he recalled. “It was raining really hard the whole time but the producers loved that because it helped to make their scenes much more gloomy and atmospheric too. This is a beautiful part of the world but when it gets cold and wet even a vampire would get the chills.”
Wow – we should have become actors in the “Twilight” franchise. That was a huge career error on our part.
PerezHilton reports that Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart, and Robert Pattinson are guaranteed $25 Million for the last two “Twilight” films, “Breaking Dawn” Parts One and Two.
Perez also notes that their payday could be potentially even bigger. They have apparently been offered 7.5% of the theatrical gross, which could be $41 Million a piece.
But seriously, aren’t we bored of this “Twilight” thing yet?
It’s that time of year again – the MuchMusic Video Awards! Last night andPOP was in attendance on the red carpet with a mission – to get an underage Justin Bieber into the after party. How would we do it? A fake ID.
Yes, our ingenious host Jordan Bortolotti had a mission Sunday evening, to get Justin Bieber a fake ID so he can attend the amazing after parties. But besides that, we had some great chats with Kardinal Offishall, Emily Osment, Katy Perry, Kellan Lutz, Girlicious, Steroes and more! It was an awesome night.

Kristen Stewart listens to pop music? She embraces something about popular culture? Well, this is news to us!
In an interview with MTV, the Twilight star talked about what kind of music she listened to on the set of New Moon to get her into the Bella Swan character, but went on to say that during the filming of Eclipse she’d just listen to her regular favourite tunes, reports MuchMusic.com.
Apparently, that regular music consists largely of Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus.
“‘The Climb’ is my theme song, and I’m sticking to it,” Stewart said.
Stewart sang on The Runaways, so we think it would be pretty ridiculous (awesome) if she joined forces with Cyrus for a duet. Just sayin’.
Oh, so that stoned look wasn’t actually acting at all….
Twilight star Robert Pattinson took valium 20 minutes before his first audition for the movie, MuchMusic.com reports. During an interview with Nightline on Monday, Pattinson admitted that before he did his audition in front of director Catherine Hardwicke he stole valium from his roommate’s bedside table.
“Probably one of the best decisions I ever made,” he said.
Some of Pattinson’s co-stars, including Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene, will be in Toronto this Sunday (June 20) to present at this year’s MuchMusic Video Awards.
Breaking Dawn, the fourth book of the hit vampire series, Twilight, will be split into two different movies, reports People.com.
Fans can expect to only see half of what is featured in the novel by Stephanie Meyer when the first part of Breaking Dawn is released in late 2011. The second half to the movie doesn’t have a release date as of yet, but production of both of the films is set to happen at the same time, starting this coming fall.
Oscar award winner Bill Condon is slated to direct both parts of Breaking Dawn and you don’t have to worry, of course Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner will all be returning.
The latest instalment of The Twilight Saga, Eclipse, is set to hit theatres on June 30.
