You can tell a lot about a man by the way he treats his mother, which is why we’re 100 percent sure Justin Bieber is a genuinely good guy. The singer serenaded his mom Pattie Mallette on The Today Show with a couple verses of the very song he wrote for her birthday and released on Mother’s Day called “Turn To You.”
Mallete has been making the talk show rounds to promote her new memoir called Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mom. Yesterday she talked about Selena Gomez on Ellen but today it was all about her relationship with Justin.
Justin even wrote forward of her book and their special bond became even more clear during the interview. He told Kathie Lee Gifford: ”She’s just been a friend, someone I can talk to and a good role model. I want to grow up and have the heart that my mom has because she has such a big heart.” D’aw. Someone make a meme out of that!

Justin Bieber’s mother is obviously the most important woman in his life. Sadly, he said with a pout, he won’t be with his mom Pattie for Mother’s Day because he’s going to be out of the country, but when he comes back, he wants to throw her a big dinner. What a charmer!
Bieber performed “Boyfriend” for the very first time, on the highly anticipated finale of “The Voice” on Tuesday night. He sat down with Extra spilling some details on his newest single “Turn To You,” which is now available on iTunes.
Watch the video below for the full interview, but our favourtie quote is: “I wrote a song for her and I’m going to put it out on Mother’s Day for her and all the rest of the moms around the world.”

It looks like Justin Bieber will be receiving yet another award as the world’s best son, after releasing a song today for his mother Pattie, conveniently in time for Mother’s Day. Yea, try to top that guys.
“Turn To You” is an emotional song that many people, not only Beliebers will relate to. The lyrics are about growing up with a single parent and reminds me of his song “Down To Earth” from his first album My World. Justin praises his mother’s strength in the autobiographical lyrics: “You worked two jobs, to keep a roof up over our heads/ You chose a life for me, no you never gave up/ I admire you, for the strength you instilled in me.”
Not only is his new single a beautiful gesture to his mom, but proceeds of the sales will go to other single moms in need. The Bethesda Centre in London, Ontario is where his mother Pattie Mallette turned to in her time of need at the age of 18. The centre is now facing closure unless it raises 1.5 million dollars by May 31 and it seems as though the Biebs is doing his part. SWOON.
Bieber’s highly anticipated album Believe drops June 19.
