Super hot TV vampire Ryan Kwanten helped save a man’s life this weekend after he spotted the victim bleeding in the middle of a Hollywood street.
Perez Hilton reports that the True Blood star spotted the injured man from his car as he was driving by the scene and instantly got out to help. Kwanten moved the man’s body to the sidewalk and encouraged passerby to call for paramedics, watching over the victim until medical help arrived.
An eyewitness says that Kwanten was recognized during his rescue mission, which caused a bit of a crowd to gather, but the star stayed on the scene to “make sure this guy was okay.”
Super admirable! We love him even more now!
No word on the man’s condition, but we’re sure Ryan’s helping hands made a difference.
This time it maybe for good. Shock rocker Marilyn Manson and girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood have broken up and ended their engagement last week, reports People.
Manson was spotted out Saturday night partying it up in L.A with a group of people including a brunette named Twiggy and former Playmate of the Year Colleen Shannon.
“They just broke off their engagement, and he needed a night out with friends,” says another source.
The couple had been on and off for the past four years. Manson proposed to Wood during a January show in Paris.
At a Nashville Pride performance on Sunday, Vanessa Carlton shared a big secret with the audience.
“I’ve never said this before, but I am a proud bisexual woman,” Carlton told the audience of 1,800 screaming fans.
The singer 29-year-old singer pointed out that in Ordinary Day, her first hit single, she continually changed the pronouns from “him” to “her” to keep her sexuality ambiguous, reported Perez Hilton.
“The lyrics to Ordinary Day could be about a boy, girl, tranny – whatever!”
In the past, Carlton has been romantically entangled with the smooth talking John Mayer and Third Eye Blind lead singer Stephan Jenkins back in 2007.
Carlton’s announcement comes only two months after True Blood leading lady Anna Paquin announced her bisexuality through a public service announcement promoting equality.
HBO’s “True Blood” star, Anna Paquin said little that revealed a lot, as part of a videotaped public service announcement.
“I’m bisexual, and I give a damn,” the 27-year-old actress says as part of the True Colors Fund’s Give a Damn campaign that was taped January 30 and kicked off April 1. The campaign features celebs encouraging people to work toward lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality, MTV news reports. Paquin was a bit of a surprise, as organizers were unaware that she was going to declare her bisexuality through the PSA.
The campaign includes a series of videos that also include stars like: Kim Kardashian, Elton John, Cynthia Nixon, Clay Aiken, Whoopi Goldberg, Wanda Sykes, Jason Mraz, Mya, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne and True Colors Fund co-founder Cyndi Lauper.
With the current vampire craze occurring, sometimes it’s hard to keep track of all the blood-sucking outlets for fans to quench their thirst.
The gritty television series, True Blood, wrapped up its second season this past summer, and now the announcements for new cast members in the upcoming third season are finally public.
According to dose.ca, the HBO show has cast both Theo Alexander and Grant Bowler for its upcoming 2010 season. Talbot is set to play an “intensely beautiful” (as quoted by the Hollywood Reporter) vampire and boyfriend of a power-hungry vampire king. Bowler has been cast as Coot, the leader of a vicious biker gan, and he also morphs into a werewolf at the sight of a full moon. Unfortunately for tweens and Twilighters everywhere, Taylor Lautner will not be a part of this werewolf pack.
“The Wrestler” actress Evan Rachel Wood has signed on for a pivotal role in the upcoming second season of HBO’s “True Blood.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, Wood will play Sophie Anne, a 500-year-old vampire queen from France who “is charming, wily, ruthless and wise. She’s a consummate diplomat who has (or had) many of history’s most famous people on speed dial.”
The character is set to appear in the last two episodes of the season, which premieres on June 14. Wood may also continue the role in a potential third season, which the popular show is expected to receive.
