The first official theatrical trailer for the much-anticipated Anchorman 2 sequel has finally hit the internet!!
We may not get to see any actual scenes from the movie, but what we do get to see are the men of our favourite news team being reintroduced to the world! They just want to say hello, and they all do it in their own personal, hysterical way…even Brick, who gets a little confused about the assignment.
Watch the trailer and GET EXCITED for the return being compared to that of McArthur, Jay-Z and even Jesus!
Oh, and don’t forget to stay classy!!
YouTube channel screenjunkies spent 20 hours of their lives watching all eight Harry Potter movies to create the Harry Potter honest trailer.
As a Harry Potter fan myself, it’s pretty hilarious and hits a lot of great points. Obviously I have to address some, so watch the video above then click the READ MORE button to see my thoughts on the whole thing.
May 24th has officially been marked on my calendar.
The first trailer for the final instalment of the hilarious Hangover trilogy has hit the internet, and it has everything any fan could ask for: Chow, cock fighting, Tijuana AND Vegas, car chases, and of course, plenty of hilarious one liners courtesy of my favourite Wolfpack member, Alan. Oh, and don’t forget the smouldering blue eyes of Bradley Cooper AKA the sexiest man alive.
If you aren’t looking forward to the film after seeing this trailer, then I assume you have neither a sense of humour nor good taste in men.

Things take a dark turn in this Calvin and Hobbes fan-made live action trailer by GrittyReboots.
Calvin’s all grown up but he hasn’t left Hobbes or his imagination behind. But unlike the happy, fun days of his childhood, his imagination has other plans for Calvin, making his life more miserable than enjoyable.
Get excited for the release of Despicable Me 2 this summer. It looks like this movie will be just as action packed and hilarious as the first. Despicable Me 2 brings us the return of Gru, Agnes and her sisters, and the sassy yellow minions.
In this new trailer, it looks like Gru has been booked for being a villain and is being asked to change his ways. After having his heart softened by three adorable young girls who he adopted in the last film, it doesn’t seem like Gru has too much of a problem with this change.
Twist? Previously evil Gru is changing his ways and has a new mission: to save the world. With cool new gadgets like cars and rays, he’s ready to make the world a better place for his precious daughters.
“I know what makes you a boy.” Oh Agnes. How you’ve been missed.
The first 40 seconds of the new extended trailer for Iron Man 3, is eaten up by Robert Downey Jr’s smouldering look, which is totally okay by me because come on:

The new trailer gives us a more extensive glimpse of the scene with the plane we saw in previous trailers. When a plane is headed for emergency descent and 13 people fall out, Tony Stark comes to rescue but can only carry four of them at a time. What’s a guy to do?
The new trailer makes us even more stoked to see Downey Jr. reprise his role in the Shane Black-directed film. The movie hits theatres on May 3.
Are you excited to see it?

Why do movie studios spend so much money on trailers for big, blockbusters when they can just make low budget teasers in a neighbour’s backyard? Okay, so the result of using a shaky camera phone and action figures instead of real actors is pretty shitty but then our expectations would be set so low that the movie would be AMAZING in comparison. Directors Joel and Ethan Coen are back. With the trailer release of their new film “Inside Llewyn Davis” this week, it’s safe to say that this will probably be one of the most anticipated movies of 2013.
The film focuses on the fictional 1960s folk singer of the movie’s title (played by Oscar Isaac), a loafer who’s looking to get his big break. Featuring an all-star cast of Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake and Garrett Hedlund, the film is said to be loosely based on folk icon Dave Van Ronk.
There is no set release date for the film yet. But from the looks of this trailer, it might just possibly be a Best Picture contender for the 2014 Academy Awards. (Yes, I know the 2013 Oscars hasn’t even gone by yet. I just love to make BIG predictions.)
But if not, at least the soundtrack sounds promising.

Proving once again what an amazing woman she is, the trailer for Beyonce’s documentary “Life is But a Dream” features some up-close and personal moments of the star.
In the video, we witness a vulnerable and low-key Beyonce as she is shown traveling, rehearsing dance numbers and examining her pregnant belly.
“I always battle with how much do I reveal about myself. How do I stay current? How do I stay soulful?” Beyonce says in a voiceover during the trailer.
“People see celebrities and they have money and fame, but I’m a human being,” Beyonce explains in a “celebrities are just like us” moment. “I cry, I get scared, I get nervous just like everyone else.”
I love seeing this side of Beyonce because it’s refreshing to see her admitting her weaknesses and asking personal questions about life like any human being would. She is truly one of a kind.
“Life is But a Dream” premieres on HBO on February 16 at 9 p.m.

I was blown away when I saw the latest preview for the upcoming film Man of Steel. But what’s even more amazing is this homemade remake of the trailer.
Filmed using only an iPhone with practically the same shots as the original, this is truly the work of talented and hardcore fans of Superman.
(This kinda reminds me of the Snuggie Countdown video.)
After months of waiting, crime drama The Place Beyond the Pines starring Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper and Eva Mendes FINALLY has a trailer.
Joining forces with Blue Valentine director Derek Cianfrance once again, Gosling channels a mysterious motorcycle stunt driver who robs banks to support his sometimes lover (Mendes) and the baby boy he fathered. But as he becomes the target of a rookie cop (Cooper), the confrontation determines his fate.
If anyone remembers watching Drive, Gosling’s character will seem very familiar. However, the story here is much deeper and more emotional. I had the chance to catch this flick during its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this past September. Although it was a bit long, I was extremely impressed by what I saw and LOVED the performances. Gosling was amazing as usual, but Bradley Cooper was the actor who impressed me the most.
The Place Beyond the Pines will be released on March 29, 2013. Packed with an all star cast, the film also stars Ray Liotta, Dane DeHaan and Rose Byrne.
The trailer for Pacific Rim is here and all I can think about is how I can’t wait to see Sons of Anarchy’s Jax Teller kick some monster ass. Actor Charlie Hunnam plays Raleigh Antrobus, one of the soldiers deployed to fight an alien menace that threatens Earth.
The alien creatures are far superior in power and size than the humans, but we create a giant, motion-controlled machine to fight back and protect the world. The film was directed by Guillermo del Toro and also stars Hunnam’s costar from Sons, Ron Perlman.
It comes out on July 12, will you see it?

Recreating your favourite music video or movie in stop motion using LEGO seems pretty time consuming — one of those painstakingly tedious tasks you easily become addicted to. And it’s all worth it.
ParanickFilmz recreated the trailer for The Dark Knight Rises using Batman-themed Lego characters. The detail put into the settings (particularly the football field and cities) is impressive. They even master miniature explosions to during the action sequences. The video quickly started trending today with tons of kudos for their “f*cking commitment.”
The video is right up their with my other faves, the stratos jump and Foster The People’s “Houdini.”

The new official trailer for Man of Steel showcases a darker, gloomier version of your kind-hearted hero Superman, as he grapples with the possibility that the world might reject his unique alien powers. Henry Cavill (that hottie from The Tudors) stars as Clark Kent while Amy Adams is Louis Lane.
The trailer features flashbacks from Clark’s youth, including when his school bus crashed into water. He saves the nearly drowning students, however, his father disapproves of his actions and encourages him to hide his secret, even at the risk of others. Later, a fully cloaked and grown up Clark remembers haunting advice from his father: ”My father believed that if the world found out who I really was, they would reject me. He was convinced that the world wasn’t ready.”
Today Superman is seen as morally sound and idealistic with a strong sense of justice, however, he was actually rougher and more aggressive in the original comics by Siegel and Shuster.
I’m crossing my fingers the film will redeem the wreck that was 2006′s Superman Returns. Another thing working in its favour is that The Dark Knight’s Christopher Nolan is a producer.
The movie will be on screens starting June 14. Will you see it?

Trekkies can rejoice today as they finally got a glimpse of the long-awaited movie Star Trek Into Darkness, the sequel to JJ Abram’s 2009 film. Just like The Dark Knight Rises and Iron Man 3, the film seems to focus on terrorism, specifically the so-called “one-man weapon of mass destruction.”
The villain is played by Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch. “You think your world is safe,” he says in the teaser. “It is an illusion . . . A comforting lie, told to protect you . . . Enjoy these final moments of peace . . . For I have returned . . .to have – MY VENGEANCE!”
The trailer is full of epic explosions and fighting, as Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to capture the ruthless but complicated villain. The film comes out on May 17. Will you see it?

If you’ve ever wondered what a quality live action version of Dragon Ball Z would look like then K8KProductions‘ recreation might blow your mind. The trailer was made by two brothers who run a small video production company in the UK.
They write on YouTube: “We grew up watching DBZ and it provided many years of entertainment and enjoyment for us as we’re sure it did for many of you. We, like every other DBZ fan, were sorely disappointed with Hollywood’s attempt and producing a live action DBZ film.”
In response, this May they’re shooting an extended live action fan trailer for the Saiyan Saga!” The only downside? The not-for-profit trailer is for private use, meaning there’s no ACTUAL movie coming out.

When I first heard about an upcoming movie about a team of illusionists stealing from banks and hurting the jobs of business leaders, I was a bit skeptical.
But after watching this trailer, I am almost as intrigued as the audience in the film.
Directed by Louis Leterrier, the upcoming crime thriller Now You See Me features a stellar cast of Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fischer, Morgan Freeman, Dave Franco and Mark Ruffalo.
Eisenberg, Harrelson, Fisher, and Franco play a team of sneaky magicians who seem to rob a bank in France while on stage in Las Vegas. Soon after showering their audience with thousands of dollar bills, they find themselves in trouble with the FBI, led by Ruffalo and Melanie Laurent.
While I know the cast here is a big selling point, there really isn’t anything like a movie about magic (and I’m not talking about the cheesy magic card tricks kind).
Using illusions to take on daring and illegal heists, this movie is sure to cause some thrills during the blockbuster season when it hits theatres on June 7, 2013.
The trailer for Lindsay Lohan’s new movie The Canyons almost seems like a parody, in both good and bad ways. It pokes fun at the movie’s writer Bret Easton Ellis, calling him a “Twitter-obsessed author” and brags about the “never-nominated director.” The black and white teaser also plays off the real lives of Lohan and co-star James Deen, who previously worked in porn, referring to them as sensuous and potent.
Poking fun at the movie is a smart idea to move past all the real life personal drama weighing the movie down. However, they revealed so little about the plot that it’s hard to tell what it’s actually about. The noir film from director Paul Scrader chronicles a sexy woman (Lohan) torn between two lovers. It explores the dangers of sexual obsession and ambition among young people circa 2012.

Unfortunately, if Iron Man was a low budget B-film, I don’t think many people would see it for the special effects. The once sleek and technologically savvy Iron Man suit would be limited in construction to cardboard.
Maybe the unintentionally bad acting and horrible action scenes would boost the film to a black comedy, but I’m suspecting even the underground theatres wouldn’t hop on board. YouTube duo DumbDrum created this hilarious low budget trailer for the Marvel film and uploaded it to their account Bryan Harley. In the past they’ve made low budget trailer for The Avengers and Dark Knight Rises.
Considering the second Iron Man pulled in a domestic total gross of $312,433,331, I don’t think we have to worry about them cutting back on special effects anytime soon.

Zombies aren’t the heartless creatures you think they are. Because in the case of upcoming film Warm Bodies, Nicholas Hoult plays one falling in love.
Based on Isaac Marion’s book of the same name, Warm Bodies follows R (Hoult), a zombie who eats human brains to feed on their memories. But after feeding on his latest prey, he finds himself falling in love with the victim’s girlfriend (Teresa Palmer).
It’s strange to see a zombie movie getting a romantic twist when most films about the walking dead are gory and terrifying. But as Warm Bodies attempts to add some depth to who zombies really are, the film might actually prove that they have desires and fears like any human as well.
While this movie is slated to release on Feb. 1, 2013, it’s already being compared to the Twilight series. But after watching the trailer, I personally think this film is a lot more different than it sounds.
