We get a better look at The Lizard in the third trailer for Marc Webb’s “The Amazing Spider-Man.” Not only is Peter Parker (played by Andrew Garfield) fighting small crimes like robberies but he’s got 500 cops to dodge. Oh yea, and then there’s The Lizard.
This is exactly the type of high-action trailer that gets me riled up for the release on June 13. However I agree with some fans that Marvel reveals too many of the movie’s “golden moments.” When an unthreatening robber pulls out a small knife, Peter keels over and says: “You found my weakness. It’s small knives!” Sure it’s hilarious, but the line would have gotten a huge laugh in the theatre — if we hadn’t seen it already.
Other than that the film joins The Dark Knight Rises and The Avengers as a superhero movie I’m actually excited to see this summer — especially after the disappointing bombs we’ve seen lately.

The third trailer for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Risesproves the movie will be just as epic as we hoped. The movie follows Batman eight years after he took the fall for Two Face’s crimes. A new terrorist leader, Bane overwhelms Gotham City.
The star-studded cast includes Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, and Tom Hardy and will be out on July 20. Oh and of course, Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be the mysterious cop John Blake (swoon).
Other reasons why the clip is badass? It starts off with Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle predicting: ”There’s a storm coming.” This is followed by a series of explosions, including cars, bridges, buildings and trucks. Plus, we get a clip of Batman’s flying vehicle, dubbed The Bat.

I’ve sad it before and I’ll say it again, redheads always get the coolest animated princesses. But unlike some of Disney’s princesses, Pixar makes their female character pretty badass.
In “Brave,” Princess Merida is a skilled archer and stubborn daughter who wants to change her fate. Her actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom and when she turns to an eccentric Wise Woman to help her, her wish backfires.
The movie is expected to be one of the biggest hits this summer, which isn’t surprising considering it comes from the animation gods responsible for WALL*E, Toy Story 3 and Up. It’s due in theatres on June 22, so the trailer will have to tide you over until then.
