It looks like boy band The Wanted have been making their ways around! Right after their appearance on Dancing With the Stars, jumped onto the set of The Voice Australia for yet another reality show performance. This time, Jay, Siva, Tom and Max performed their latest single “Walks Like Rihanna” on Tuesday. As usual, the boys looked and sounded great but we’re still a little sad that Nathan has been missing from the line-up as he recovers from his throat surgery.
The band will be doing more than performing on reality competition shows come this summer. The band’s own show, The Wanted Life, will premiere on Sunday June 2nd on E!. You can watch the preview for their Los Angeles shenanigans HERE.
British boy band The Wanted performed a cover of Tori Kelly’s “Fill A Heart” on Monday’s episode of Dancing with the Stars. The proceeds of the band’s cover will go to the “Child Hunger Ends Here” campaign.

If you’re like me, chances are you’ve had The Wanted’s latest single “Walks Like Rihanna” stuck in your head since its release, and have been eagerly awaiting the music video as they’ve been teasing on Twitter. We don’t have to wait any longer because the video is here!
With a title like this, one would expect the guys to be galavanting down the streets of Los Angeles while being surrounded by beautiful women. Instead, the guy’s fall head over heels over one woman—their director! The guys decided to use the opportunity to mock or pay homage (I haven’t decided yet) to past boy bands by reenacting scenes from N’Sync’s “No Strings Attached,” The Backstreet Boys’ “I Want It That Way” and Take That’s “Back For Good.” I don’t know, I’m kind of getting a BSB “As Long As You Love Me” feel to the video too.
From the dance moves to the dramatic boyband poses, not gonna lie the video had me giggling ’til the end.
Jay, Max, Siva, Tom and Nathan also shared some behind the scenes footage on the U.K.’s Daybreak. Siva even confessed that he was supposed to be Kevin during their little homage to BSB.I’m going to assume Jay is Nick, Max is A.J, Tom is Brian and with Nathan’s hair slicked back, he’s clearly channeling Howie.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to hear the rest of this album.

The boys in The Wanted have been living it up in sunny L.A. for the past couple of months. Thankfully, E!’s cameras were there to film their American adventures.
Jumping on the reality show bandwagon, The Wanted Life takes fans behind the scenes as The Wanted work on their new album, giving a bit of insight on the day in the life of being a part of one the biggest boybands around right now. Fans will have to wait until its premiere on June 2nd to see Jay, Siva, Max, Tom and Nathan on their TV sets but E! is giving a little preview of what fans can look forward to in this trailer.

Just a few days ago, The Wanted teased us with a snippet of their newest single, “Walks Like Rihanna”. Since then, we couldn’t wait until the full song premiere.
Luckily, the wait wasn’t too long as the single hit radio airwaves today and well, WE LOVE IT. It makes our hearts go boom boom! It might be a bit different than their previous singles, but we can still see ourselves singing this song into our good ol’ hair brush microphones.

TWFanmily can rejoice because a new The Wanted song is on the way! The band have just released a preview of the single, “Walks Like Rihanna.” Nathan Sykes‘ unplanned hiatus from the band may have thrown fans off guard but this pop number should hold them over until he makes a full recovery.
What do you think so far?
The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes had to undergo surgery due to a haemorrhaging nodule in his throat on Thursday. (yikes!) Sykes announced on Tuesday that he will need to take a hiatus after his surgery in order to fully heal. This caused the Fanmily to be worried about the health and the future of the band: will he sing again? Who’s going to kill the “I Found You” solo? Why, out of all days, did it have to be on his birthday?!
But never fear, Sykes is doing just fine. He tweeted this soon after his surgery:

All jokes aside, we’re really glad that Nathan’s doing alright. We might not get to see him talk, or hear him sing anytime soon, but as long he’s fine and on the road to recovery, we don’t mind sacrificing a few weeks. But hey, think about this, Nathan: you probably can drink all the tea without anyone judging you now, right?
We’re also glad to see that the Fanmily was able to make him smile on his birthday by flooding his timeline with birthday wishes and a speedy recovery. Nathan also tweeted:

If you’re the few Directioners and The Wanted fans who are casually scrolling through Twitter and Tumblr today and wondering, “Woah! What the heck happened last night?” Here is a full display of the Tom Parker and Louis Tomlinson Twitter fight of 2013.

It’s no secret that the lads of The Wanted can be pretty dirty minded at times and apparently children’s literature is no exception. Yesterday during their visit to The White House for the annual Easter Egg Roll, the boys entertained some kids to a reading of Caps for Sale but it was near the end of the book when they read something so hilarious that Max, Tom, Nathan, Jay and Siva broke into a full on giggle fit.

I can’t exactly pin-point what caused the hilarity to ensue but if Nathan’s tweet is any indication, I can only imagine they managed, as only they can, to find some hilarious innuendo in a kids book about someone selling caps.

One of my favourite things about The Wanted is that they don’t take themselves too seriously. They started off our live-stream with not one, but two acoustic performances— ’I Found You’ and ‘Glad You Came.’ If you didn’t catch what all the laughing was about, they were making sexual noises during GYC. Even though the guys are constantly busy on the road, they’re making time for their new album coming out early next year. Nathan blurt out, “When was the last time you were in the studio Jay?” He didn’t quite remember if it was yesterday… or the day before. Who could blame him, really? [nodoyjay]

Jordan wanted to know what it would take to be a member of The Wanted. After him and Tom reversed roles, he showed off his British accent and suggested he could be the rapper in the group. When the parental advisory warning came up for The Wanted’s new music video “I Found You” I thought to myself, come on really? How explicit could it be? Well m’am, there’s violence (lots of it) and definitely some type of criminal activity.
The dapper gents are on their way to find and rescue a blonde looker (or so we think) who was kidnapped by a creepy looking dude. The guys kick and punch their way up to her makeshift prison cell to release her, but not before Baby Nathan steals a steamy kiss. He’s growing up so fast!!
While I originally thought the “you” they were talking about in “‘I Found You” was the kidnapped beauty, I was wrong. All I can say, is there are just enough tough, sexy men in suits being aggressive with their adversaries to draw me in.

The Wanted
Soo many good tweets from The Wanted as they were on set yesterday filming their brand new video for “I Found You,” and torturing us with behind the scenes pics of them looking smoking HAWT. Check out Nathan above and Max with a dog named Boris below (Boris seems to be an integral part of the video). The guys look pretty bundled up and dapper in this video, though we’re wondering why Tom has a gash on his cheek in one of the photos. That guy is certainly the trouble maker in the group. The main reason I follow Justin Bieber on Twitter is so I can get MIND BLOWING tweets like the one above. The second reason I follow him is so I can gawk at awesome half-naked photos and talk about them with my friends over coffee like: “OMG did you see that Instagram photo of JB?” The THIRD reason I follow him is for funny videos of adults trying to understand Bieber like this:

We’ve all read strange things about The Wanted. For whatever reason, the press likes to create fantastic stories about how Max is celibate, Jay is a vegan and the list goes on. That’s why @jordans_life thought it would be appropriate to make up a rumour for our website ANDPOP. As we expected the guys went above and beyond our expectations and created a story about Siva’s balls and Italian spices. Perfect.

Olympians are Beliebers too
Meet Dominique Pegg. Not only is she a gymnast on Team Canada, she’s also a fan of her fellow Canadian Justin Bieber. Just before flying out to take part in the competitions, she tweeted a picture to him with her pillow (not creepy at all, trust me). She followed with another tweet, ”I’m a CANADIAN GYMNAST leaving for OLYMPICS TODAY! Can I get I follow pleasee! Cherry on topppp!” Looks like she got more than just a follow because Justin tweeted her special message. Better late than never. AW!
Tom Parker from The Wanted makes me want to be British
I guess being British makes the Olympics a million times more fun (considering it’s taking place in London this year.) Tom Parker from The Wanted tweeted out well wishes to English diver Tom Daley. Bandmate Jay McGuiness also tweeted out this photo of him with Tom, proudly displaying their Olympic spirit through face paint.

British bad boys The Wanted are known for not only their strong vocal pipes, musical talents and staggering good looks, they would pretty much do anything for their fans. The guys shower their “fanmily” with hugs, kisses, and weekly webisodes, resulting in excessive fan-girling.
Things got a little out of hand earlier this week when two members of TW Nathan Sykes and Tom Parker arrived at Glasgow airport. One of the girls must of got caught up in the commotion, ended up hitting her head on a brick wall and had a frightening seizure. Instead of the guys running off to catch their flight (considering they were in a rush and that would be an A-lister thing to do) they stayed back to help her!
Tom told The Sun, “It was as we pulled up at the airport that one of our fans collapsed on the floor. Nath stayed by her side while I called 999. It was pretty frightening, but anyone would have done the same.” We would hope so too. Nathan also seemed concerned, taking to his Twitter hours later , “Can someone please dm to let me know if the girl from the airport is ok?? Thanks x.”
Even though the girl got hurt, I guess having your idols care for you is much, much better. I bet she was glad they came!
If you’re a celebrity and haven’t been hounded by Stalker Sarah, you’re probably not all that important. The 16-year-old, who lives in LA, has met EVERY famous person, from Katy Perry to Skrillex to Josh Hutcherson.
She has over 4600 photos on her Flickr account of her posing with tabloid headliners, which is how she earned the nickname “Stalker Sarah.” Strangely, in every photo she stands to the right of the celeb in question and has the exact same smile. She’s even developed a strategy to silently stalk her prey, intuitively waiting outside restaurants and airport terminals like the paps.
Sarah has eyes and ears across the city and was there to jump to Lindsay Lohan’s defence after her alleged hit and run. She served as an eyewitness for TMZ:

The Wanted will premiere their brand new music video for “Chasing the Sun” tonight on MTV and tomorrow on VEVO, but in the meantime they released a behind the scenes teaser to torture us.
Looks like the video will include lots of steamy lip locks and the last look we get is the guys leading a bunch of DTF chicks they picked up a club into their house. Guess we know what the “sun” metaphor is in this track.

The Wanted’s Tom Parker revealed the real meaning of their song “Glad You Came” and none of us are surprised. We talk about this and Katy Perry dancing to Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” with her friends.
Does anyone actually believe “Glad You Came” is about a fresh-faced guy that’s glad his crush accepted his invitation to a party? “I do say, I AM quite glad you decided to come to this soiree.” Um no guys, it’s about orgasms.
What we already knew was confirmed by TMZ (well, kind of) when a cameraman caught Tom Parker insinuating its true meaning.
In the video interview, which was shot in New York, Parker and bandmate Siva Kaneswaran are singing with fans. On the last verse Parker changes the lyrics to “I’m glad you GUSHED” and gestures near his crotch.
