Tom Green broadcast his leg surgery live on his own Internet chat show.
“I am having a bad year for injuries. First, the broken ribs in Costa Rica after getting hit by a wave, now this. To make matters worse, I need surgery,” Green said. “So on Thursday I will be bringing my video camera, and will be getting put under general anesthetic and operated on. They will be putting screws and a metal plate into the bone in my leg.”
The Canadian actor shattered his tibia in a skateboarding accident that was captured on video and can be viewed on his website, tomgreen.com.
Actor Tom Green, known for his crazy antics on television and in movies, will release a solo rap album this fall.
The CD release may surprise some, but Green is already an accomplished rapper. In fact, he was a rapper before he became an actor.
Green is a founding member of Organized Rhyme, a rap crew who won a music video award and who were nominated for a Juno.
Mike Simpson of the Dust Brothers (Beastie Boys, Biz Markie) will produce the album.
Green has also planned a tour across Ontario in June called “My Bum is on Your Lips Tour.” Simpson (AKA DJ EZ Mike) and pro skater Jeremy Klein will tour with him.
