The singer had been due to appear with the SexyBack star at a gig in Dublin, Ireland on Sunday as part of his world tour, but pulled out to appear at the tribute concert at London’s Wembley Stadium – with rapper 50 Cent called in as her last-minute replacement.
And the star – real name Stacey Ferguson – admits she’s indebted to the In Da Club hitmaker.
She says, “I guess I owe 50 a favour.”
Ferguson paid tribute to the late princess and her sons, Princes William and Harry, who organised the all-day extravaganza, saying, “They seem like pretty normal guys who put on the manners when they’re supposed to.”

Pop superstar JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE has disappointed fans by pulling out of an intimate concert on the Irish leg of his world tour, blaming “technical difficulties” for the cancellation.
The SexyBack hitmaker planned to perform two shows in one night in Dublin, Ireland, but was forced to axe one of the gigs on Saturday, reports Irish music magazine Hot Press.
Timberlake apologized to fans who had already paid for tickets to the intimate performance at nightclub Vicar Street, and offered them a chance to attend a show in the city’s RDS arena on Sunday as his personal guests.
He says, “I love being in Ireland – the audiences are always something else and I’m so disappointed we can’t make the Club Show happen this time. I hope to make it up to you guys next time.”

Pop punks GOOD CHARLOTTE have been announced as the unlikely support act for JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE’s upcoming U.S. arena tour.
The group, fronted by brothers BENJI and JOEL MADDEN, will join Timberlake on tour in his native Tennessee in August.
The rockers’ support slots will include two nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden in August and end with a pair of shows at Los Angeles’ Staples Center in mid-September.

Pop superstar JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE has signed the first artist to his new record label – an 18-year-old internet phenomenon.
Teenager Esmee Denters caused an international sensation last year when she posted covers of songs by Beyonce Knowles, Alanis Morrisette and Alicia Keys on website YouTube, leading to 21 million views.
Now Denters has signed to Tennman Records, will tour with Timberlake, and will release an album of her own material later this year.
Timberlake announced yesterday, “In completely unpredicted news to all YouTubers and bloggers, we are proud to announce Esmee Denters has signed to Tennman Records and she will be joining me on tour this summer.
“Esmee is the real deal and I cannot wait for the world to hear her, but all of her fans on YouTube should not worry – we will keep you in the loop every step of the way.”
Denters says, “Words can’t describe how amazing it is. I am so excited. It is something I have always dreamed of doing.
“I have to thank YouTube and its viewers for giving me the opportunity to show the world my voice. I also have to thank Justin, one of the biggest artists in the world, for believing in me and making my dreams come true.”

Pop superstar JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE has launched his own record label – Tennman Records.
The SexyBack star will serve as chairman and CEO of the Los Angeles-based label, a joint venture with Interscope Records, which already boasts seven artists on its roster.
But Timberlake refused to divulge any further information, simply saying, “We are all excited about the talent we have to offer already on our roster and I cannot wait to introduce the world to my new discoveries.”
Jimmy Iovine, Chairman of Interscope Records, adds, “Whenever you have the opportunity to get into business with someone as gifted as Justin Timberlake, you take it. We are thrilled to have his label as part of Interscope.”
Tennman Records will officially announce the label’s first signings in the next few weeks.

The Tennessee native has dedicated the track, The Only Promise That Remains, to his country-fan grandfather.
Timberlake tells MTV, “I just wrote and produced a song for Reba McEntire for her new record. I’m from Tennessee, so I’m making my grandfather very proud by working with someone like Reba McEntire.”

Superstar JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE is planning to step away from his solo career to write music for other artists.
The 26-year-old, who has collaborated with stars including Duran Duran and Timbaland, wants to lend his talents to a wide variety of genres, from country to hip-hop.
He says, “I’ve had a good share of the spotlight. I don’t feel like I need too much of it right now.
“I want to write country music, because that’s where I grew up – Tennessee. Soul music… I want to be involved in hip-hop.
“And sometimes I feel the only way to really express all those different sides, even just for myself, is through different people.”
He adds, “To write for myself, I definitely have to recharge my battery.”

Timberlake tells British men’s magazine GQ, “I regret the McDonald’s deal.
“Just like the McDonald’s deal, whose market share went up 25 per cent when I walked into those offices and changed their image… when I did the Grammys, the viewing figures went up by 25 per cent.”

He tells US magazine Details, “I despise what they do. They create soap operas out of people’s lives.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE made sure Saturday’s Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards were a messy affair when he became one of many celebrities to get ‘slimed’ at the Los Angeles prize giving.
The pop superstar hosted the awards, and although he boasted he was too famous to get slimed in his opening song, the SEXYBACK star was covered in the event’s famous green goo twice.
MANDY MOORE, RUSH HOUR stars CHRIS TUCKER and JACKIE CHAN, SPIDER-MAN TOBEY MAGUIRE and STEVE CARELL were among the other stars to get messed up at the show, while Timberlake and VINCE VAUGHN ended the show with a slime fest – both got hit with the green stuff and then turned the goo on the audience, hosing down kids and their parents.
Timberlake was also a big winner on the night, claiming the Best Male Singer prize. In receiving his award from late CROCODILE HUNTER star STEVE IRWIN’s daughter BINDI, the singer heaped praise on the thrilled Aussie, stating, “This young lady will change the world.”
But he was also a big loser – he gave up his 2006 Celebrity Burp Champion of The World belt to the 20,000-strong Kids Choice Awards audience, who belched louder and longer than he did.
Among the night’s other big winners, BEYONCE KNOWLES took home the Best Female Singer prize and the Best Song honour for IRREPLACEABLE, ADAM SANDLER and DAKOTA FANNING claimed the event’s Best Movie Actor and Actress awards, and SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS picked up the Favourite Cartoon prize for the fifth successive year.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE regrets his Grammy Awards performance with a rejected AMERICAN IDOL singer, insisting event organisers took advantage of his “nice guy” attitude.
The SEXYBACK singer performed a medley of tunes with ROBYN TROUP, who won a TV contest called My Grammy Moment to land the chance to perform with Timberlake on music’s biggest stage last month.
Timberlake tells men’s magazine Details he considered pulling out of the performance, but feared he’d left it too late.
So, even with a heavy cold that prompted him to withdraw from a pre-Grammy party performance, he agreed to go through with what he felt was a bad idea.
He says, “I’m the nice guy who follows through on the things he commits to. But I don’t know if I’ll be going through that sort of thing again.
“I feel like the Grammys used me for ratings.”

A bar owner in Illinois is fighting with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE’s lawyers over a pricey autograph-signing appearance he has scheduled for the star.
Sharky’s Billiards owner JOE PIAGENTINI claims a promoter assured him the MY LOVE singer would be appearing at the bar on March 13 after he paid him a $25,000 fee.
Timberlake is performing in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont and is supposedly scheduled to attend the autograph-signing session after his gig.
But one of the star’s Los Angeles-based lawyers, GARY STIFFELMAN, insists the singer is not going to show because he hasn’t discussed the appearance with anyone or even heard of Piagentini.
Meanwhile, Piagentini insists the appearance is still a “go,” although he hasn’t sold any tickets yet.
According to Fox News, the tickets are being advertised on websites for $100 each.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and CAMERON DIAZ have sparked reports they are reconciling after leaving a West Hollywood club together on Friday night.
The couple called it quits last month after nearly four years together but reunited briefly at the Whiskey Bar in the Sunset Marquis Hotel. An eyewitness tells American publication People that Timberlake had joined director MARTIN SCORSESE and about eight other people at a table inside the hotel’s exclusive bar.
The MY LOVE singer chatted briefly with Scorsese, who directed Diaz in GANGS OF NEW YORK, and others at the table until 1am, when Diaz arrived.
The source says, “Cameron never joined their table. She just showed up and Justin got up and started talking to her. They were being very discreet.
“They weren’t kissing or holding hands or anything, but they were being very friendly.”
The couple then walked out the front door together half-an-hour later.
Timberlake has recently been romantically linked with SCARLETT JOHANSSON and JESSICA BIEL, while Diaz was spotted getting cozy with BLOOD DIAMOND star DJIMON HOUNSOU on Thursday (15FEB07) night at Hollywood hotspot Hyde.

An assistant at JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE’s record company has been busted for selling $20,000 worth of the star’s stolen CDs on auction website eBay.
An executive assistant at Jive Records was selling the highly anticipated FUTURESEX/LOVESOUNDS CD before its release date by having interns at Jive send the discs from the company’s mailroom.
A source tells the New York Daily News, “He was selling pre-release Justin Timberlake albums for $50 a pop. And he was using the Jive mailroom to send them out.”
The employee’s lucrative side-business was stopped after disgruntled interns objected to participating in the mass mailings and reported him to the company president.
The source adds, “They sent an e-mail to Jive president BARRY WEISS from an anonymous e-mail account (with the email screen name InternsArePeopleToo), and copied every vice president to tell them they were ‘fired up’.”
The assistant has now been sacked.

Pop star JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE was named Best International Male Solo Artist at the Brit Awards on Wednesday night and used his acceptance speech to jokingly warn the audience about the perils of drinking.
The 26-year-old pop star took time out of his US tour to accept his prize via a video link.
He said, “Thank you very much for this. I’m very flattered. I’m actually on tour so I couldn’t be there. Everyone have a great night.
“Stop drinking! You know who you are. I’m speaking to you! You are going to get sloppy!”
The MY LOVE singer then joked about a British tabloid adding, “OK! Magazine is going to say something bad about you.”
Timberlake wasn’t able to pick up his engraved statuette in person and had to pretend he had the actual award with him during his speech saying, “I accept this mock award right now.
“And if someone doesn’t send me my real Brit in the mail, there will be hell to pay!”
