Selena Gomez has received a death threat that is considered extremely serious – so serious that the LAPD Threat Management Unit is now involved.
TMZ reports Thomas Brodnicki, who has a history of stalking, told his psychiatrist he is going to kill Selena.
Brodnicki told the shrink he has traveled from Chicago to L.A. three times and has told people he has spoken to God about killing her.
LAPD detectives are taking the threats “extremely seriously” given his history.
Some people take TV very seriously, and some take it so far that they phone in bomb threats. A NYC man phoned in a bomb threat to WPIX if they kept playing “Two and a Half Men.”
NY Post reports the calls were made on May 11 and May 23. The calls were traced to a man named Freddy Caldwell.
According to the paper, Caldwell was charged with falsely reporting an incident and aggravated harassment.
We kind of sympathize, however we do not endorse bomb threats. Seriously, the obvious jokes and cheesy one liners make you want to puke eventually. Case in point below:

The Anaheim Police Department is probing “two active cases” that originated in Los Angeles, according to Sergeant Rick Martinez, a police spokesman.
One threat was sent by e-mail to a production company and the other “was a telephonic threat relayed to her manager,” according to Martinez, who added that he thought one of the communications contained a death threat.

“Girls Gone Wild” tycoon Joe Francis told a judge today that he fears for his life, reports TMZ. “Mr. Wynn has threatened to kill me … He said he would hit me in the back of the head with a shovel and bury me in the desert.” Francis alleges that casino owner Steve Wynn has made threats against Francis over an unpaid debt.
Francis lost a $2,000,000 judgement to Wynn after Francis had a bad streak in one of Wynn’s hotels and didn’t pay up. Wynn’s lawyers hauled Francis to court today for him to reveal where he’s hiding his money.
The boys from Two and a Half Men don’t have any luck with women. Charlie Sheen first has his marital problems during Christmas, and now Jon Cryer is going through a similar marital crisis. While filming the show on Friday, a serious threat was made against Cryer in connection to his divorce with his ex-wife, Sarah Trigger. Teams of security stormed the set and the taping continued without a studio audience.
