This adorable man behind Avengers bad boy Loki is so damn polite that he blames his popularity on Loki’s leather outfits. Don’t sell yourself short, Tom! The Thor: The Dark World star deserves all the love of Hiddleston’s Army for being incredibly talented and kind from the start (looks don’t hurt either).
He could pass for a British Justin Timberlake
Thomas William Hiddleston was born in London, England on February 9, 1981. It’s a shame the world wasn’t aware of his acting chops during his time studying drama at Eton College, Cambridge University and London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art – there definitely would’ve been a huge Save The Fro campaign just like we tried (and failed) with JT.
He played rugby
Tom isn’t just a huge rugby fan, he was also a player in his Cambridge days! In an interview with the Society of London Theatre, Tom revealed the exact moment he knew he had to give up sports for acting. “I ran off and played this rugby game and at half time [the captain] came up to me. . .I’d turned up caked in ridiculous student drama make up!”

The Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and Spider-Man (yes, he really is an Avenger) lose their superhero powers and must turn to the inventive step-brothers for help. Nick Fury, on the other hand, is working the underground secret agent pet line and turns to Agent P for some extra assistance.
“is he some kind of super platypus with some super platypus powers?”
“He has a fedora.”
All we ask for is some more dirt on Perry’s archnemesis Doofenshirmtz to help round out what is arguably the saddest villain backstory in history.
It’s hard for Thor to stay buff! It’s not easy throwing around that heavy hammer, so the superhero needs to keep in shape… and you know what they say, exercise is key.
Thanks to Ryan Frye of EveryDayThor, we now have a little insight on how Thor stays so lean. He doesn’t do just any standard boring work out. He tackles the ultimate fitness routine… the extensive prancercise fitness workout.
In this video, Thor demonstrates how he keeps those biceps toned and those thighs firm. We could all take a lesson from this Asgardian’s dedication to keeping healthy. You lift those legs, Thor.

Ever find yourself really bored at Walmart? Of course you have.
It’s the story of every kid’s life: your parents dragged you with them and now you need to keep yourself occupied for the better part of an hour. For a store that literally has everything, the amount of things you can do to keep yourself busy are minimal. That is, if you think rationally.
Thinking rationally is never fun, so instead we decided to get creative (and slightly illogical) to think of some stupid things that could keep you busy at Walmart while your parents shop.

1) Use toys to re-create a scene
2) Play hide and seek

3) Say hi to random customers
4) Every time someone is paged on the loud speaker, ask “god, is that you?”
Thor is back! Which means one thing in my book; the possibility of shirtless Chris Hemsworth scenes (score!). More often than not, sequels fail live up to the hype of the first movie but it looks like there is nothing to worry about when Thor 2 comes out in November. The second instalment of the series follows Thor as he sets out to defeat an old race of dark elves lead by the evil Malekith, who wants to sink the whole universe into darkness as revenge.
With Thor 2: The Dark World coming out November 8 and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire out November 22, it’ll be interesting to see Chris and his brother, Hunger Games star/Miley’s fiancé Liam battle it out at the box office and see who comes out on top at the box offices.
Thanks to College Humor, this may be the only time we ever see Batman, Superman, the Hulk and Thor go up against the likes of Pokémon and Calvin Klein. Yeah, that’s right Calvin Klein because this is a superhero cologne off!
The Avengers gag reel proves just how much fun the crew had on set, which isn’t hard to believe considering Robert Downey Jr. was there (he’s a rambunctious sorta fella). The DVD and Blu-ray editions don’t come out until Sept. 25, but this four-minute reel should tide you over until then.
Here are the three best scenes:
1. Superheroes are always coordinated — the direct antithesis the clumsy — especially Thor. However, in a scene with Chris Evans (Captain America) actor Chris Hemsworth (Thor) can’t catch his hammer and instead gracelessly bounces it from arm to arm like it’s a hacky sack. He gets points for never giving up though.
2. Evans demonstrates the difficulty of putting on some of the intricate and complicated gear during one scene. In the movie he puts on a parachute quite easily but in the gag reel we realize how difficult it actually was to put on. “Guess it doesn’t go up as smoothly as I was hoping,” he jokes.
3. After Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson) perfects his character’s death — which is notably hilarious — Cobie Smulders has a severe meltdown that we WISH made it in the movie, because you know, it’s so believable and all.

On a British radio show, radio hosts Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon ask Chris Hemsworth, who stars “The Avengers”, to break some bad news to a listener…in the style of Thor.
While don’t know much about Hemsworth’s acting, I’ll have to admit it’s amazing how quickly he gets into character!
And that ACCENT. I don’t think I can say no to that voice either.

It all comes down to this movie. Over the past few summers we’ve been watching some bearable and some insufferable superhero movies so Marvel could slowly build up to their gigantic mega-movie muscle The Avengers.
Though the newest trailer doesn’t tell us much about the plot, we know the superheros are called to save the world and catch a quick glimpse of the Transformers-esque aliens. I’m not huge into some of the more recent superhero movies but this one looks pretty epic. The music alone is reminiscent of Inception.
The superheros are Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and the Hulk — who were successful in recent summer blockbusters. Then we also get the Black Widow, Hawkeye and Nick Fury who have made appearances in in Marvel films.
The film, which is directed by “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” creator Joss Whedon, will be out on May. Will you see it?
Action flick ‘Thor’ smashed the competition at the box office this weekend with a US$66 million opening. Pretty impressive!
The 3-D action Paramount picture, based on the Marvel comic, was by far the No. 1 movie, according to Sunday studio estimates. Australian actor Chris Hemsworth stars as the arrogant god of thunder who’s sent down to Earth as punishment.
The film also stars Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins and Kat Dennings. Wow – I didn’t even know there was such a cast in this movie.
In second place was a holdover from last week, the car-racing sequel “Fast Five” from Universal Pictures. It made $32.5 million for a total of nearly $140 million in just 10 days. That’s still impressive for a sequel.
It seems the box-office has been in a slump lately, so it’s good to see movies dominating again. I personally haven’t seen these movies, but I’ll trust others when they say they are worth the money.
