Everyone loves the Oscars red carpet. It’s probably the most highly anticipated red carpet in the world and no other red carpet can compare! But it’s not the only velvet carpet A-list celebrities will be walking down on that night. While most of us viewers head to bed once The Oscars ceremony ends – because let’s face it the ceremony always ends late – celebrities are making hurried wardrobe changes and hitting the after-party scene in new outfits. After-party red carpets are a chance for the winners to show off their new prizes and a chance for the losers to still win best dressed of the night. So let’s see who had the best wardrobe change as these celebs face off against themselves!
Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence, the Best Actress winner for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, infamously tripped on her way to accept her award in the pale pink Dior Haute Couture gown but switched it up for a more slinky and silver Calvin Klein dress for the Vanity Fair after-party. This time she got to match her metallic gown with the night’s most coveted accessory, the Oscar statuette.
Anne Hathaway
The Best Supporting Actress winner turned heads on the red carpet in this pale pink Prada gown, but perhaps for the wrong reasons as the darts in the dress emphasized her nipples. Plus, this was a last minute dress choice which resulted in a public apology from the actress to Valentino, who was to be her original choice of designer. She had a chance to redeem herself in a different column dress for the Vanity Fair after-party, this time a blue number from Saint Laurent.

In another of edition of “Jennifer Lawrence, be my best friend!,” the recent best actress winner experienced what every fangirl goes through when they finally meet their idol. But it wasn’t One Direction that did for Lawrence—instead, it was longtime movie star Jack Nicholson that had her freaking out. Adorbz!
BEST: Anne Hathaway’s speech

So touching. People say it was too long, but I thought it was humbling and heartwarming. We all knew she would win, she was so brilliant in Les Mis.
WORST: Twitter handle for Anna Hathaway’s Nipple
People, the seam on the side of the dress created an allusion that Anne was bearing her nipples. Leave her alone okay? Although…she just won an Oscar, I’m not sure she cares all that much about what you have to say about her dress last night.
BEST: Envelopes are hard to open

Sandra Bullock’s facial reactions for best supporting actress please? Kind of looks like someone we know (*cough* Photoshopped Beyonce *cough*)
WORST: Wizards at the Oscars

Y’all need to get a hair cut
BEST: J-Law is really happy we haven’t seen her boobs Read more…
Jennifer Lawrence has been flawless during this hectic award show season. Not only has the face of Miss Dior been killing it on the red carpet, she has quickly become a journalist’s dream as she was probably the most quotable celebrity ever.
Asides from her breathless acceptance speech, she didn’t let her fall up the stairs to claim her awards (looking like a Disney princess no less) faze her. Lawrence’s comedic timing during her post-win press conference was amazing. From sharing what she was thinking when she fell (“It started with F”) and revealing that yes, she did take a shot beforehand, Lawrence was the face of best humble brag (if you could even call it that).
If Tina Fey and Amy Poehler can’t host next year’s Academy Awards, may we suggest Lawrence? Just forget the teleprompter and let her ramble throughout the show.
As if he hasn’t gotten enough heat recently, James Franco’s ghosts of geeks past come back to haunt him!
According to Perez Hilton, the cast of Freaks and Geeks got together last weekend at the Paley Centre for Media’s annual Paley Fest…all but Franco, that is. And there was definitely no love in the air for the missing actor.
When the series’ creator Paul Feig stated that “there were no drama queens on the show”, Judd Apatow responded, “…Except for Franco.” Ouch.
Fellow freak-and-geeker Busy Phillipps, who’s character Kim Kelly was Franco’s on-screen girlfriend, said Franco once “threw her to the ground, even though the script didn’t call for the action.”
“Apparently, Franco decided that his character had “maybe been abused by his father,” but he never announced this to Philipps, and then during one scene when she lightly slapped him across the face, he freaked out and shouted “Don’t you ever [expletive] touch me again!” and then he threw her to the ground, which caused her to run to her trailer in tears.” Watch out world, we might have another Chris Brown on our hands!
It’s saddening to see such a notable actor going so downhill. We loved you in Spider Man and Pineapple Express, and we even loved you in 127 Hours. But after the Oscars, we lost most of our respect for you, and now this? Way to disappoint!
