Moms are the best. They make you awesome food (always with love), they begrudgingly do your laundry for you (but you know they like it because it means you’re back home) and sometimes, they’re a great source for comedy (whether they know it or not). Take for example, YouTuber pixelspersecond‘s mom who has never seen The Matrix before until now. Watch as she tries to recount the plot after seeing it once. *Spoilers: Leonardo DiCaprio makes an appearance. Considering how mind blowing The Matrix was back in 1999, she did a pretty good job. She even got the red pill/blue pill part.
Doesn’t it make you want to hug your mom and go watch Inception together?
While PSY’s Gangnam Style is dangerously addictive, you’ll be in even more trouble once you see The Matrix’s Neo take on PSY in this hilariously edited clip. Just be careful though. Make sure you aren’t at work or eating when you’re watching this as you’ll possibly get in trouble or ruin your computer.
These guys look like they’re messing around by acting out action scenes from The Matrix but if you look closely you’ll realize that they’re not throwing harmless rubber balls or miniature frisbees — they’re throwing LIVE PIGEONS at each other.
Why you ask? Because. That’s how real men fight. That’s how Russians fight. I agree wholeheartedly with one of the comments posted under the video: “the internet has become 3000% better since Russians started posting videos.” No birds were harmed in the making of this video.
The Matrix, a group of producers who have worked with such high profile stars as Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne and Korn, have dropped a self-titled debut album on iTunes.
Matrix member Scott Spock explained to MTV News in 2003, the group had been saving songs for themselves for years and that the then unknown-artists would soon become “very well known.”
Release dates came and gone, followed by the departing of the group’s manager. When they rejoined with their manager last year, they decided to bring up the album once more. “We said, ‘Let’s release the Matrix album, because it’s a great album,’ ” said Lauren Christy a member of the Matrx, to MTV News.
The band was given the rights to the album after Columbia Records failed to release it, so they planned on releasing it trough their own label, Let’s Hear It Records.
“We had the dates set up with iTunes … and then ‘I Kissed a Girl’ exploded,” Christy told MTV News. “I spoke to Katy about it, and she wanted to wait until the fourth single off her album was released.”
The Matrix album also features British singer Adam Longlands and includes many songs fronted by Perry.
