On ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ last night, the Donald dropped in to promote the upcoming season of NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice” and was all about the business.
He talked about the twelfth season of the show that is ‘guaranteed’ to be bigger and better than ever, with 18 celebrities and 15 episodes. He had a few choice words to say about some of the contestants:
On American Idol’s Clay Aiken: ”He’s much different than you’d think. Tough and smart. He really is a tough cookie.
On Real Housewive’s Teresa Giudice: ”Aw, she’s great. She actually flips a table, she gets so angry at a group,” said Trump. “She’s a very calm person … until she gets angry. And then she’s nasty, but she’s terrific.”
On Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider: ”He’s very talented, very tough — tough player, smart as can be, and you watch what happens to him after this show. He’s going to go places, he’s really terrific.”
Both Snider and Giudice were surprise-guests on Fallon last night, joining Trump and Fallon for a classic game of “Password” – and although most of the questions were Valentine’s Day related, the easiest of them all was still a miss of the Donald.
Snider had the word “Fired” – so he pointed at Trump and said, “You’re…”
He was clueless. If only ‘illegal immigration’ was one of the answers. Check out the embarrassing bafoonery below.
Today News reports ‘Survivor’ winner Richard Hatch has been ordered to go back to prison to serve a nine-month sentence for failing to pay taxes on the $1 million he won on the first season of ”Survivor.”
The reality star, who is currently appearing on NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice,” spent more than three years in prison for tax evasion and was released in 2009. Since then he has been serving a three-year term of supervised release. During this period, he was supposed to refile his 2000 and 2001 taxes and pay what he owed, but he never did. Shocker.
During the hearing, Hatch told the judge that he had fully cooperated with the terms of his release, and that his taxes were extremely complicated and he was working with an accountant to determine from the IRS what he owed.
Hatch also told the judge he recently discovered he had a second son and was trying to build a relationship with him. He asked that, because of that and the job opportunities that could come out of his “Celebrity Apprentice” appearance, not to send him back to prison.
I mean, really? You think the judge is going to let you go because you found out you have a son and are on a reality show? Please, if you’re stupid enough to go to jail for something, be released, and do the wrong thing AGAIN, you deserve to go to jail. I have no remorse for this guy. You won a million dollars. Pay your taxes.
I guess this is also going to interfere with The Celebrity Apprentice, which kind of sucks, because I watch the show and thought he was a really good competitor. I don’t understand all of this because on the show, Hatch seems like a really smart guy. How can someone so business-savvy forget to pay his taxes?
Part of me believes he’s willingly not paying them, but that’s just my suspicion. Guess he’ll have to survive in jail for another nine months.
The title pretty much says it all. Sources tell TMZ that Donald Trump personally called one of Tiger Woods’ old lady friends, Rachel Uchitel, and offered her a spot on the upcoming season of The Celebrity Apprentice.
It likely wouldn’t be too difficult for Uchitel to win the competition, should she accept the offer. She’s got experience with winning large sums of money, namely the $10 million settlement she got from Tiger Woods.
Uchitel took a call from TMZ and let them know that she is “absolutely” going to take the offer. So, you should see her on the show as long as NBC decides she’s a good fit.
The only question is should the wives of the other celebrities on the show be worried?
After suffering what is commonly referred to as a warning stroke Thursday, a rep for Bret Michaels said that the Celebrity Apprentice contestant plans to attend the show’s finale.
“As far as I know, Bret will be there unless his doctors tell him otherwise,” Bret’s rep tells People. Michaels will be going up against fellow contestant Holly Robinson Peete in an attempt to raise money for his chosen charity, the American Diabetes Association.
“We’re cautiously optimistic that he will attend the finale,” the rep continues. “But ultimately, it’s up to his doctors.”
People reports that a medical professional from NYU Comprehensive Stroke Care Center, who has not treated Michaels, says it should be okay for the rock star to fly to the finale, as he is currently being given blood thinners which will prevent further clotting.
The finale of The Celebrity Apprentice takes place on Sunday, May 23rd.
