Heidi Androl, who was kicked off The Apprentice in season six, was pulled over for going 35 miles per hour on an empty California freeway at 2:45 Monday morning, reports TMZ. She performed poorly on several sobriety tests and was arrested for driving under the influence.
Bill Rancic, the first winner of “The Apprentice,” is engaged to E! News’ Guiliana De Pandi.
E! Online reports that the Rancic proposed to DePandi on Dec. 15, during a helicopter ride over Chicago.
“At first, I thought Bill was surprising me with a helicopter ride over downtown Chicago to see the Christmas lights. Then, suddenly he pulled out the most beautiful ring I have ever seen and asked me to marry him. I was so excited I could barely speak,” DePandi said.
She went on to gush that when the couple arrived home, Rancic had sprinkled rose pedals all over the house, and had a chocolate cake waiting next to a bottle of DePandi’s favourite kind of wine.
The couple began dating nearly a year ago and plan to marry sometime in 2007 in Italy. It will be the first marriage for both.
Carolyn Kepcher, a long-time employee at the Trump Organization and one of Donald’s sidekicks on “The Apprentice,” has been fired by the company.
“Mr. Trump wishes her the best,” said the business icon’s spokesman, Jim Dowd. She had held the position of chief operating officer for two Trump golf courses.
The firing was first reported by the New York Post on Thursday. Sources close to the situation said that Kepcher had been focusing too much on self-promotion and her own pursuits.
The firing doesn’t affect the upcoming season of “The Apprentice,” however, as Kepcher wasn’t part of the cast.
The show, which is based in Los Angeles for the first time, will more prominently feature Trump’s children, Ivanka and Donald Jr., as his co-hosts. It hits airwaves in January.
You’re fired has turned into you’re hired for Andy Litinsky.
Litinsky was a season two contestant on the Donald Trump reality show, “The Apprentice.” He was fired after making it to the final six, but Trump came back to him and hired him after all.
According to Reuters, Litinsky will be running Trump’s newest venture ? in the entertainment world.
“He’s a very capable guy,” Trump said of Litinsky.
Trump will be adding a Hollywood production company to his empire, its first project will be the television version of the classic game Monopoly. The company does not yet have a name.
Tammy Trenta, the 33 year-old wealth manager from New Jersey, was the latest Apprentice wannabe to hear The Donald say ?you?re fired? on last night?s episode.
Trenta was Synergy?s project manager, so Donald Trump blamed her for the loss, partly because she told her teammates that she wanted the task to be ?all about her.?
The product placement… I mean task… for the two teams was in partnership with Microsoft and WalMart, to create an in-store marketing location for the new X Box.
While the men on Gold Rush seemed to have the upper hand at the beginning of the task (guest judge Ivanka Trump said their idea was creative), the girls on Synergy fought with one another instead of getting to work.
However, Gold Rush ran into problems when the contractor they hired to do the floor and ceiling for their presentation centre showed up two hours late, and without the ceiling. The team was in trouble and threw together a presentation space ? duct taping signs to poles.
Synergy created a ?red carpet? experience, with different areas set up. However, the girls did not place other products in their location, instead it was just the X Box. It was because of the lack of product placement the girls lost the task.
Gold Rush then went on to a product placement… ahem, reward… where the guys (and the millions of viewers) got to see and hear about how wonderful the new movie Over the Hedge is.
In the boardroom, Trenta tried to blame fellow team member Roxanne Wilson, but ultimately Trump held her responsible for the team?s ideas and loss.
Trenta was the fourteenth contestant fired on this season?s Apprentice.
