I look forward to watching her career continue to flourish in the years to come.”

MTV News says Nick Cannon will host the special ceremony in Los Angeles. It will be broadcasted on November 6 on Nick at Nite.
Taylor Swift surprised fans last night in Dallas by bringing out B.o.B. The two performed his hit single “Airplanes” with Taylor singing Hayley Williams portion.
“Had a night to remember in Dallas performing one of my biggest songs with the ever-so enchanting Taylor Swift,” tweeted B.o.B.
Taylor added, “Tonight was like a dream. That crowd.. The biggest indoor stadium in the world. And singing ‘Airplanes’ with B.O.B. !!!!!”
In a recent radio interview, Taylor Swift said Selena Gomez is like a little sister.
“Selena [Gomez] is like my little sister. I’ve never had such a truly sister-like relationship w/ someone. It is really amazing to have [had] a friend for that long. We met when I was 17-18, now I’m 21, about to turn 22, it is amazing with so much going on in our lives we have stayed so close.”
Taylor also gets nervous if she doesn’t write at least one song every three weeks.
“The thought of never writing a song again is the scariest thing in the world. It’s one of my top fears and I have it flashed [sic] before my eyes almost every time I go two weeks without writing a song.”
Taylor Swift released a teaser commercial for her perfume “Wunderstruck.”
In the video, Taylor is walking through a mansion in a stunning layered gown as she says in a voiceover: “It’s a spark, a connection, a rush of something new. Once you’ve been struck, you’ll never be the same again.”
The fragrance is supposed to come out this month.

MTV’s Punk’d is returning, and they have some pretty high level guests participating. In an upcoming episode, Justin Bieber punks Taylor Swift.
The story is Bieber convinces Swift to come over and help him write a song. A source told Hollywoodlife.com: “Justin called Taylor Swift and asked if she would come over to his beach house and help him write a song for Selena Gomez. Taylor agreed and even asked him to open for her at her show that night in Los Angeles.”
While taking a break, they set off some fireworks which land on a boat. This boat happens to carrying a wedding party, and the entire party are forced to jump off and swim ashore.
The source added: “Taylor didn’t start crying but was very freaked out and was like ‘OMG I’m so sorry! Justin was trying to downplay the situation, When he said she’d been punk’d she started laughing and said, ‘How could you do this to me?’”
The pair made up very quickly.
Taylor later tweeted: “You think you’ve heard LOUD screaming in your life.. Then @justinbieber comes out and does a surprise song during your show. Woah. Unreal.”
Joe Jonas is denying his newest single “Love Slayer” is about dumping Taylor Swift, he told London’s Metro.
“No. That’s not about her,” he told the paper. “When I write songs, I don’t say who they are about because I don’t want the audience to relate to what was going on with me when I wrote it. You say one thing and it becomes a rumor.”
Jonas dumped Swift, 21, during a 25-second phone call in late 2008. “It’s alright, I’m cool,” she later told Ellen DeGeneres. “You know what it’s like, when I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful. … When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18. … I looked at the call log —- it was like 27 seconds. That’s got to be a record.”
What do you think? Is “Love Slayer” really about Taylor?
Justin Bieber made a surprise appearance last night at Taylor Swift’s concert in Los Angeles.
“You think you’ve heard LOUD screaming in your life,” Taylor Swift tweeted after her Los Angeles show on Tuesday night. “Then [Justin Bieber] comes out and does a surprise song during your show. Woah. Unreal.”
Bieber has become pretty close with Taylor Swift over the past couple of years.
“We should do that more often.
great show! #muchlove,” Bieber tweeted to Swift.
Named after a lyric from her song Enchanted, Hollywood Reporter announced that Taylor Swift is ready to launch her first perfume, Wonderstruck, this fall.
The country pop star said “a fragrance can help shape someone’s first impression and memory of you…It’s exciting to think that Wonderstruck will play a role in creating some of those memories.”
Swift described Wonderstruck as a “flawless beauty of freesia, apple blossom and raspberry” with “a sweet surprise of blissful vanilla … airy, sun-drenched honeysuckle and white hibiscus … golden amber and sandalwood … with lush peach.”
Sounds intriguing doesn’t it? But will this fragrance do well on the market? We’ll have to wait and see.
Swift, who had to cancel a few shows due to her illness, is back on schedule with her Speak Now tour and has her second show tonight at the Air Canada Center in Toronto.

Only Taylor Swift could turn rehearsals into charity gold.
The country/pop star will give fans an early taste of her upcoming ‘Speak Now’ Tour for a very good cause, reports MTV News.
The singer announced on Friday that she will allow fans to buy tickets to the final dress rehearsal of her tour to benefit communities devastated by tornadoes in the South in late April. Swift has been preparing for her upcoming tour over the past five weeks at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, which will be the site of the ‘Speak Now … Help Now’ benefit.
“I was watching the coverage of the tornadoes backstage at rehearsals, and I wanted to do something for the families affected by the damage,” Swift told the Associated Press. “I’ve never opened a rehearsal to the public before, but I felt that inviting my fans to the last rehearsal for the Speak Now Tour would be a great way to raise money.”
The songstress added that the benefit will be different from her other live appearances, and she is still hammering out the kinks of the production.
“We will probably still be doing some fine-tuning to the show that night, since this will be a true rehearsal, but I feel like it is so important for me and my fans to help if we can,” she said.
Swift’s ‘Speak Now’ Tour is set to kick off May 27 in Omaha, Nebraska. The Grammy-winning superstar also just unveiled her latest video, ‘Mean,’ which can be viewed below.
What a sweetie, that Swift is. I’m sure she’ll raise a lot of money over this, as every fan that I know is an absolutely-100-per-cent-crazy-pay-any-price-for-tickets fan, so I’m sure she’ll have no problem selling tickets for this event.
BREAKING NEWS: Taylor Swift has chops! Alright, that we may have already known. But, who knew she had a great music taste?
Recently on her Twitter she tweeted about The Civil Wars, a lesser known Americana duo and their debut album Barton Hollow shot to the top of the charts. And now, the pop starlet has revealed her love for Mumford and Sons. It is admirable that Swift dug deeper than “The Cave”, “Little Lion Man” or Mumford’s better known songs to choose the haunting “White Blank Page”
At the 46th Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night, Swift won Entertainer of the Year, which is considerably the highest honour of the evening. Her name was announced by Ryan Seacrest and she appeared surprised, as usual. She is the youngest artist in the history of the ACM to win this award.
“This is the first time I ever won this and I’m just losing my mind!,” Swift said. “We just got back from Asia and Europe on tour and thank you for this wonderful welcome-home gift and thanks for not forgetting about me. The fact that this is from the fans, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me! Ever!”
Watch Swift take on “White Blank Page” for BBC Radio 1′s program Live Lounge For Fearne:
This year’s Golden Globe’s dropped jaws, the Oscar’s received yawns and the Grammys’ only highlight was the Arcade Fire.
And at Sunday night’s 40th Juno Awards, the Montreal-based independent rock band cleaned up again and won four awards including Songwriters of the Year, Group of the Year and Album of the Year.
“Thank you, we are so happy,” Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler told the audience in accepting their first award of the night for Best Group.”I want to just give a shout-out to all the bands that we kind of came up with from Royal City to Hidden Cameras to The Unicorn to Wolf Parade and all the amazing Canadian bands and thank you so much.”
Arcade Fire homecoming victories for ‘The Suburbs” was a followup to winning Album of the Year at this year’s Grammies and winning Best International Group and Best International Album at this year’s Brit Awards.
“It’s a long way from Sneaky Dees — the first place we played in Toronto,” said Butler as they picked up their second award on Sunday’s show. The only category the band lost was to Daniel Lanois for Producer of the Year for his work on Neil Young’s “Le Noise” won.
That Saturday night win for “Le Noise” was just a prelude to Neil Young’s triumphant evening on Sunday. Representing the old Canadian values, Young was honoured with the Allan Waters Humanitarian Award for his founding both Farm Aid and the Bridge School Benefit concerts.
“What year is this?,” remarked Young after shutting out Justin Bieber for Artist of the Year. ”I was 16 one time. He’s fantastic. He’s got some moves, doesn’t he?”
Young, who has not attended the Junos gala in 29 or so years, also won Best Adult Alternative Album.
The mighty tour-de-force that is Justin Bieber picked up two trophies via-satellite for Juno Fan Choice Award and Best Pop Album. ”Thank you so much for being so supportive,” said Bieber from Rotterdam, where he is currently on tour. “You guys have been incredible. 2011 has been absolutely crazy.”
Unfortunately, the Juno host and local-rapper Drake who led the list of nominees with six, left with no hardware. He was up for essentially every major category: Album, Fan Choice, Artist, Album, Songwriter, Single and Rap Recording. The latter of the bunch he surprisingly lost to the up-and-coming Toronto artist Shad on Saturday night.
However, the former Degrassi star had a refreshing opening to the show that involved Bieber on Skype exchanging verses on the timeless Sarah McLachlan tune “I Will Remember You”.
“You my friend have the voice of a young rabbi,” said Drake. Afterward, he was joined by pianist Chilly Gonzalez for a lounge medley that included a tribute to Shania Twain.
“You’re from Timmins, I’m from Toronto, you worked at McDonald’s and I eat McDonald’s, we should be together … Man, I’d like to make you feel like a woman baby,” he sang out.
Later in the evening, Bryan Adams presented his friend Twain with the Hall of Fame Award. The montage tribute video of her career included appearances by Anne Murray and Taylor Swift, who both praised her for inspiration.
“This is just a very beautiful moment for me. I’m really so proud of Canada’s talent,” said Twain. “I sit here tonight in the audience and I watch these amazing new artists up here on the stage. I have more pride in what the country has created musically than I am even of my own success. This is a beautiful country. I feel like I should just be wearing the Canadian flag tonight.”
“I love our lakes,” and then Twain dropped what will likely be the joke of headlines tomorrow morning: “I love our bush.”
Another highlight of the evening was the Love Letter to Toronto that featured today’s young and hot artists performing hits of yester-year! That’s likely how the initial concept was explained… It was well executed though. From Sarah Harmer’s angelic rendition of Joni Mitchell’s “Carey” from Blue to Dallas Green’s take on “Old Man” with Young gleaming from front row.
Gordon Lightfoot and the Band were also paid tribute to by Jim Cuddy, Sarah Slean, Kevin Hearn, Serena Ryder, Greg Keelor, the Sadies and Derek Miller.
Other performers on Sunday were Down With Webster, Hedley, Tokyo Police Club, Johnny Reid, Broken Social Scene, Chromeo and Arcade Fire.

It’s a Seuss party! Green eggs and ham, anyone?
According to Perez Hilton, Taylor Swift is the most recent of celebrities to join the cast of the upcoming Universal/Illumination 3D movie, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. Swift will join names like Zac Efron, Rob Riggle, Betty White, and Danny DeVito in lending her voice to the characters of the film.
Swift is to voice the character of Audrey, the dream girl of character Ted (Efron) who is searching for the Lorax (Danny DeVito).
“Beyond the story’s indelible themes is an ensemble of unforgettable Seussian characters, and the title creature is both acerbic and adorable,” said Illumination Entertainment founder Chris Meledandri, according to All Headline News. “Bringing his sharp humor, enormous heart and deep conscience to the project, Danny DeVito epitomizes the Lorax, and we have an absolutely stellar supporting cast led by Ed, Taylor, Zac, Rob and Betty.” The site goes on to report that the flick will mark the third Universal-Illumination collaboration, and will be directed by Chris Renaud, who directed Despicable Me. Sounds amazing already!
Maybe we’ll get to see Zac sing a little “You Belong with Me” to Audrey! While we wait in anticipation for the film (I know I’m crazy excited), everyone can catch Swift on her Speak Now world tour right now! “It’s a love story, baby just say yes!”
Follow the 8.9 scale earthquake that hit Japan Friday morning, there has been an outpour of support via Twitter and other social networking sites from everyone and celebrities have sent their condolences and best wishes. On one hand, we have the cute, country-singing, innocent Taylor Swift. On the other, we have a pop-singing, TV star, gleek Chord Overstreet. Match made in heaven? I think so.
The two stars were spotted hanging out at an L.A Kings hockey game at the Staples Center last night, E! Online reports with pictures.
Overstreet, 22, seems a perfect match for Swift, 21. They are in the same age range, both teen sensations, blonde, musically talented, and good looking. This coupling is much better than when Swift was canoodling with Jake Gyllenhaal or John Mayer (barf). At least they are in the same age range and could create beautiful babies. I’m pretty sure babies with John Mayer would be born saying sarcastic, douchey things.
Perhaps the meeting wasn’t just romantic, though. Maybe the two were discussing a glee collaboration? Swift’s country anthems about boys and love and boys seems perfect for the tween-teen hit show. Or maybe Swift was warming up to Overstreet so she could get closer to Cory Monteith, whom she was spotted having dinner with earlier this month.
The reasons for their meeting is a mystery, but what I do know, is that I approve. Although I am not a fan of Swift’s music, nor a fan of the show Glee (it has gone downhill), these two together just feels right. Two blondies who sing? Doesn’t get any better than that.
Kanye West’s new music video for “All of The Lights” has received an Epilepsy warning from a British organization called Epilepsy Action, according to MTV News.
The charity group provides support for people with epilepsy, and says that the video “should not be broadcast on U.K. television.”
“However, the Kanye West video is still available online, most notably on YouTube where it has had several million hits, and no such regulations exist for online broadcasting,” said the organization in a statement.
As a result of this outburst, the video, which features a barely-dressed Rihanna, has been pulled from many stations including MuchMusic. “We are pleased to see that YouTube and Kanye West’s representatives have listened to our concerns and are warning people that the video is a risk to some people,” Epilepsy Action campaigns manager Aimee Gee said to MTV.
It’s true that the online world of broadcasting has drastically different rules than the television world – meaning there really are no rules for online broadcasting. It’ll be much harder for the music video to be pulled from YouTube than it was to get pulled from television, simply due to the fact that the online world is a free, post-whatever-you-want world. Warning ads have been placed before the video, though.
Now, I don’t know if I just feel bad for Kanye, but the dude just can’t catch a break. Ever since the Taylor Swift fiasco at the Grammys, his career has never been able to fully recover. Although the song is currently at number 14 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart, his video now risks the chance of getting pulled from all media outlets. Poor guy!
I don’t know if pulling the video from everywhere is the solution, though. The obvious answer to this problem seem simple to me; if you have epilepsy, don’t watch a music video called “All of The Lights“. I mean, lights is your first clue that you probably won’t enjoy it. Secondly, I realize that maybe someone could stumble upon the video and have an epileptic seisure, but how about changing the channel if you see bright lights? How are these flashing lights different from Ke$ha or Britney Spears’ videos?
I’ve personally seen the video and I really enjoyed it. I thought it was different, unique, and a fresh change from the usual videos played today. It seems like all the good videos are getting censored nowadays. Just a couple weeks ago, Rihanna’s “S&M” video got pulled in some countries as it was too ‘risky’. I mean, we live in a modern century, a little risky or bright lights won’t hurt anyone. Well, maybe, but you know what I mean.
Does that mean all strobe light parties are at risk of extinction too? Will the world become an abyss of black and white? Will all creativity be banished from our lives, and we’ll be forced to watch Glee episodes on repeat for the rest of eternity?
I know I’m being rash, but I mean, I feel bad for the guy. The video is good. Let Kanye have his moment.
See the video below and be careful!

Somewhere in the world Taylor Swift is having a MAJOR hissy fit!
Love and Other Drugs star Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted hanging out with actress Camilla Belle at a charity gala this Saturday night when things took a turn for the COZY!
“They were talking intimately and laughing,” an eyewitness says. “There really seemed to be chemistry, a connection.”
If the two end up hooking up, this would be the SECOND hottie Ms. Belle has stolen from country star Taylor Swift. It’s rumored that Joe Jonas dumped Taylor in a 27-second phone call to be with Camilla, only to break up with her as well months later. Taylor has penned many songs about Camilla’s man-stealing ways, including “Better than Revenge,” a fan favourite track off of her latest album, Speak Now.
Some choice lyrics:
“she’s not a saint and she’s not what you think/she’s an actress/ she’s better known for the things that she does on the mattress…she should keep in mind there is nothing that I do better than revenge.”
Ouch! We can’t wait to hear the song to come out of this one!
