On top of being a smash-hit superstar, Taylor Swift is the kindest cutie with a guitar out there. The Red singer is even cuter in these childhood pics and videos! Read on to see your favourite country girl growing up.
She shows fans home movies
Taylor Swift was born on December 13, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania. Her parents filmed so many home videos of her and her younger brother Austin that T-Swift made an entire music video with her baby tapes for “The Best Day.”
She was an active kid

Taylor was only nine months old when she rode a horse for the first time. She also started ballet – and striking the perfect pose – when she was just 2 in 1991.

1. Introducing the panda cat.
Even though he looks totally unimpressed with his life, he should be happy that he’s like the most adorable cat on the planet.
2. No F*cks Given of the Week.
Redditor Jillillac posted this photo of two people suspended in air on a portaledge, which is a device used for long trecks in the mountains. No big deal, just casually sleeping in midair.
3. The best/worst photoshop job.
Aberguine posted this super corny photoshop job that looks similar to that wolves-howling-at-the-moon t-shirt. It’s kind of creepy, but camels howling at the moon is my new fave thing.

Here comes 25 pounds of glory. An artist named Jason Mecier uploaded this piece of Honey Boo Boo art which he made out of 25 pounds of garbage. It could possibly be a comment on how “garbage” some reality tv is, but I doubt that since Honey Boo Boo is pure gold.

Taylor Swift — “I Knew You Were Trouble”
Taylor Swift experimented with dubstep in her new single “I Knew You Were Trouble,” reflecting a more mature sound. Red is one of the most eclectic and scattered albums of the year, combining elements of country, pop, dubstep and more mature ballads. Now I’m just crossing our fingers for an aesthetically grungy music video.
Miley Cyrus — “Decisions”
Miley Cyrus isn’t just experimenting with her style these days. Along with dying her hair platinum blonde and getting an undercut, she’s recording more modern sounding songs for her fourth studio album. Cyrus was featured in Bogore’s “Decisions” and while I wish she was more heavily featured (she’s in the chorus), I’m digging the dubstep vibe.
Alex Clare — “Too Close”
The best part about Alex Clare’s song “Too Close” is the combination of dubstep with his Adele-powerful vocals. The soulful track was produced by electronic ninja Diplo and you can practically feel it in your lungs.

Taylor Swift was all grunged out while shooting her music video for “I Knew You Were Trouble” today. On top of wearing a black leather jacket and cutoff denim shorts, her tousled hair was chalked with pink at the ends. The look perfectly fits with the dubstep-vibe of the song and I’m stoked to see her in something other than a 1950s princess dress (although those are also pretty major).
There are no plot details right now but funnily enough Taylor is the one who looks like trouble in her badass outfit rather than the plaid-wearing hunk she’s standing next to.
Taylor is filming the video straight off going to the AMAs last night. HOW DOES SHE DO IT?
One of my favourite moments from last night’s MTV Europe awards was when Taylor Swift thanked everyone for giving her the Best Look award because she suffers from a low self esteem so it could give her the boost she needs. I find this ironic considering many girl’s sole purpose in life is to look JUST LIKE Taylor.
Taylor — who won three of the five awards she was nominated for — also had one of my favourite looks of the night. She wore the most spirited circus-themed costume during her performance of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and an incredibly chic J Mendel gown as well (above).

TREND: Pink
Inspiration: First Lady Michelle Obama, Emma Stone, Ann Romney
You know a trend has found its roots when the wives of two presidential candidates are both wearing pink and it wasn’t even a Wednesday. AND just a day before, current it girl, Emma Stone, was wearing a bright pink dress at Elle’s Women in Hollywood party. If THAT wasn’t enough for you, when Jessica Biel got hitched to Justin Timberlake, she wore a blushing pink wedding dress.
So, how do we even wear such a bright hue? My best advice is: wear it with confidence. It only looks ridiculous if you think it does. Unfortunately, confidence is sometimes hard to come by. In order to build this confidence, treat pink like any other neon colour: start small by matching pink accessories to whatever you wear. Most importantly, pink is an exciting colour so remember to HAVE FUN!
TREND: polka dots

Inspiration: Taylor Swift on The View
Last summer, I had a bit of a shocking revelation when I was riding the bus back home after a trip to Ikea. I realized that the boxes I just bought, my skirt and my nails were covered in polka dots. Since then, I’ve been trying to cool it with the dots because, let’s face it, I’m not Zooey Deschanel.
Unfortunately, it’s been really hard to get off this kick. Between Marc Jacobs’ fragrance Dot and The Sartorialist‘s polka dot street style shots, I can’t stop myself but want more dotted pieces. So, you know what? Let me at ‘em! They’re fun, they’re flirty and most of all, they are (this week’s theme) F. U. N. Fun!
WTF: Chanel’s Hula Hoop bag

Imagination plays a huge part in fashion, and as a result, there are a number of outstanding collections that are more art pieces than ready-to-wear clothes. What kills me, though, when designers try to sell insanely bizarre objects as the world’s most practical accessory. Case in point: Chanel’s hula hoop bag. According to designer Karl Lagerfeld, it would be the perfect beach bag because you can drape everything on it. It might’ve been useful if I couldn’t picture myself tripping over it, or crying because the white fabric got all dirt stained. Not to mention, it’s just a tad ridiculous and a little too over-the-top for the beach.
The latest news that isn’t really “news” and isn’t really recent either, is that Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy broke up a while ago. Taylor, 22, and Conor, 18, broke up after a few months of dating, according to a close friend of Taylor’s, who told US Weekly. “It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They’re fine,” the friend said.
Breakups can be hard on the people involved but sometimes it can be tough for the zillions of fans too — especially when the said person sends you on whirlwinds of emotions after every breakup and new romance. If you’re having an especially tough time dealing with this one, we created a handy list of strategies that might help you recover. Except, you should never actually do them because NONE OF THESE TIPS will help you. Like ever. Except maybe the last one…
1. Tweet about your intense sorrow with the hashtag #TaylorKennedySplit or #ShameConor2012. Enlist other fans to grieve with you.
2. Trek to the most remote part of the Himalayas with your guitar, let your teardrops fall on your guitar and offer it as a sacrifice. Then wish on a wishing star that she’ll find love again.
3. Lock your bedroom door and spend all night drafting lyrics to a song for her next album. This breakup anthem will be called “Dear Conor” OBVS.
4. If you go into remission after their breakup, take the 100 percent scientific Taylor Swift breakup meter from her perspective. Then assure yourself that they’re never ever getting back together. Like ever. Here’s the chart: Read more…

I don’t know what’s more surprising, that Taylor Swift “found out” about earwigs (didn’t she spend time outdoors as a kid?) or that she was convinced the little critters crawl in your ears and eat your brain with their pinchers.
Everyone knows the most effective way to rid themselves of their fears is to get the bejeezus scared out of them. So Ellen had one of her crew members dress up as a giant earwig to scare the Red singer.
Taylor shrieked after the earwig snuck up behind her, but quickly tried to change the subject. Poor Taylor can’t catch a break on the Ellen show! Every time she bucks up the courage to go in for an interview, Ellen does something to scare her and it seems like she gets angrier each time. Check out the compilation (second video) of her getting scared four times.

Taylor Swift is basically living my dream in her new video for “Begin Again.” The singer lives in Paris and bikes along the Seine to a romantic looking cafe, where she writes letters and sips vanilla lattes. We’re happy Taylor found love again, most notably because her new love is smoking hot but also because her ex sounds like a gigantic douche.
The video is beautifully filmed and her thoughtful vintage-y outfits are eye candy. Check out the video below and all of her looks underneath.

Emma Roberts
What she’s wearing: Roberts stepped out in a Nanette Lepore black printed suit at the CFDA & Vogue Eyewear launch for the “Emma” by Nanette Lepore sunglasses.
Why we love it: One of the perks of being celebrity is inspiring fashion designers to name accessories after you. Not only are the “Emma” sunglasses a cool twist on the cat-eye sunglasses but they contribute to the very stylized look that Roberts is showcasing. Menswear-inspired clothing has been emerging as a popular choice for stars to don on the red carpet and this Nanette Lepore suit has a cool geometric print that makes it stand out from all the rest. The white blouse has a cool sheer panel insets to smartly play off of the striped shirts that men usually pair with suits. Roberts then tops it off with a cool pop of orange colour with her clutch.
Takeaway: Suits can be an awesome addition to your wardrobe even if you don’t have that many occasions to wear it. Think of it as buying a bundle of separates. Because at the end of the day you can mix and match different parts of a suit with other items in your closet so as to get better mileage out of the different suit pieces, instead of them collecting dust in your closet.
AnnaSophia Robb
What she’s wearing: Robb wore a sleeveless black and gold lamé peplum dress by Emilio Puccito the premiere of her new TV show The Carrie Diaries at the New York Television Festival.
Why we love it: Robb is showing promising signs as a budding fashionista, which is a must since she has large shoes (Manolo Blahniks to be exact!) to fill as the new Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City. While the dress is pretty minimalistic, the gold lamé top calls upon the metallic trend to make it a standout. Here’s hoping her new show becomes a hit so we can see Robb transform into the red carpet fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker has become since originating the role of Carrie Bradshaw.
Takeaway: Metallics are coming back and the best way to incorporate them into an outfit is to keep things simple. Metallics by nature are flashy so minimize its effects by pairing it with neutrals or wearing them in simple silhouettes so as to not look like you’re ready to go out to the disco.
Taylor Swift
What she’s wearing: Swift promoted her new album Red on Good Morning America by performing in plaid pants, a cable knit cardigan, and black lace-up oxfords.
Why we love it: Fall is sweater weather and Swift looks nothing but warm and comfy in this look while still being stylish. Her cable knit cardigan features awesome leather buckle details and while the cardigan chunky, it isn’t too big, boxy, or heavy. Plaid pants can be hit or miss sometimes but in this case they work by offering a nice graphic detail to balance out her solid cardigan. Plus a pop of colour of red lightens up the very navy ensemble while being appropriate for her album promotion tour.
Takeaway: Chunky sweaters are everybody’s favourite clothing item once the air begins to chill and the leaves start to change colours. Sometimes the best chunky sweaters (which I like to refer to as Grandpa sweaters) or cardigans can be found in the men’s section, so don’t be afraid to explore the men’s side of the store and snatch up a couple for your own before the guys do.

New Taylor Swift music, watch out ex-boyfriends!

Taylor Swift released her fourth highly anticipated album Red yesterday and I’ve had it on repeat ever since. Guys: If you’ve ever dated her, be prepared that there’s a song on the album about you. My favourite track so far is “Everything Has Changed” feat. Ed Sheeran. [fireworkswifts]
Cozy knit sweaters and your fave accessary

It’s that awkward time of year when it’s too cold for a T-shirt and not quite cold enough for your winter coat. One of my fave things about fall weather is wearing cozy sweaters; whether it be with leggings or a pair of skinny jeans. You can add a funky necklace to make your outfit POP! [oh-hey-emily]
Studded boots

I’ll admit it, most of the time I’d rather throw on a pair of chocolate Uggs and walk out the door than lace up booties. But after seeing these cute studded boots, I’ve come to the conclusion that they’re worth the extra effort. I don’t think you can ever have enough studs. Agreed? [monmondefou]
Everyone could use a bit of animal print

If you’ve been watching The X-Factor, you’re probably familiar with the animal print contestant CeCe wears on her face and legs. She recently told ANDPOP: “When I paint my face or legs it’s like an alter ego that comes out. It’s an empowering thing and I feel like nobody can mess with me.” [makeupftw]

Taylor Swift and Breaking Bad are two things I can’t imagine colliding. It’s like a gazelle and lion being friends. Or Ashley Tisdale playing a prostitute on Sons of Anarchy (oh wait, this ACTUALLY happened).
Anyway, this parody by Teddie Films re-writes the lyrics to Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” from the perspective of Walt and Jesse (“We Are Never Ever Gonna Cook Together.” Relive their disagreements and outside troubles with Goodman and Skyler.
If you didn’t watch the last season, these lyrics should be enough to bring you up to speed. Walking Dead next? Please and thank you.

Let’s hope Conor Kennedy and Taylor Swift are long term. Because despite reports that Swift didn’t really buy a mansion near the Kennedys, TMZ is reporting otherwise.
According to the site, the singer has spent $4.5 million on a mansion right across the street from Ethel Kennedy, Conor’s grandmother. The crib is said to include seven bedrooms, six baths, its own private beach and an acre of land.
While this may all seem very frivolous, the singer has already gotten approval from everyone in the Kennedy clan.
Conor’s uncle, Patrick Kennedy previously said,“We love Taylor Swift … she’s been a great friend and we’re happy for Conor. If she wants to be in the family, she’s already a part of it.”
Also adding to the praise was Ethel. “I’m happy that we’ll be neighbors. I’m thrilled,” she said.
“She is just spectacular. She is just sensational … she’s very kind. You know what she really is? She’s game. She had never sailed before, she sailed. She had never gone dragging before, she dragged … she played everything that everyone else was doing [with] no fuss.”
Well, if this is really the case…let’s hope things go super well.
But even if it doesn’t, Swift could always write a song called, “I AM NEVER EVER GOING TO MOVE FOR YOU AGAIN” and make us guess who it’s about.
The last time we saw awkward romancer Tommy Wooldridge, he was trying to pick up random women by reciting Blink 182 lyrics. Although he wasn’t lucky with the ladies, he did win tickets to see his favourite band in concert.
This time, Wooldridge decided to have another go at the dating world by serenading ladies with Taylor Swift lyrics. They’re a little deeper than the Blink 182 lyrics ands sometimes come off a little stalkery. Let the awkwardness begin!!
When in doubt gents, go with these lyrics:
1. “If you could see that I’m the one who understands you/ Been here all along so why can’t you see?/ You belong with me” — “You Belong With Me”
2. “You’ll never have to be aloneI love you and that’s all I really know” — “Love Story”
3. “And I never saw you coming/ And I’ll never be the same again” — “State of Grace”

Elle Fanning
What she’s wearing: The younger Fanning sister opted for a vintage 1930s chiffon print maxi dress to the premiere of her new film ‘Ginger & Rosa’ at the New York Film Festival.
Why we love it: For such a young actress, Fanning is proving her fashion chops with this look. A mix of floral and polka dots would usually make for a weird combination but it works in this easy and breezy chiffon number. Plus the sheerness in the sleeves makes this dress less matronly. Plus Fanning beautifully accents and modernizes this look with gold metallic Marni wedges.
Takeaway: Go vintage! You’ll be surprised at what you can find in your local vintage or second hand store (heck maybe you’ll find some goodies tucked away in your attic!). It may be a mission to find that one-of-a-kind amazing piece but it’ll be worth the effort when you do. Plus going against the grain of wearing the latest designer duds is always on-trend!
Cher Lloyd
What she’s wearing: The U.K. popstar was snapped leaving ‘The Today Show’ in NYC wearing Cheap Monday’s ombré Second Skin Faded Black jeans, a printed top, and a green jacket.
Why we love it: Ombré has been a popular design technique for a while now. You probably have seen it done in dresses, tops, and even hair. And the fading technique works just as well in jeans too! Lloyd tops it off with a sweet bow print top and an (asparagus?) green jacket (an on-trend colour for fall).
Takeaway: What helps makes this ombré look work is that Lloyd continues the fading effect by wearing darker colours on top and lighter colours on the bottom (with her pale pink converse sneakers). You don’t have to stick with just the colours within the fade, you can still add pops of colour as proven in this look.
Taylor Swift
What she’s wearing: T-Swift was spotted leaving The Hospital Club in London wearing a mustard cardigan, a French Connection oxblood top, and polka dotted jeans from AG Adriano Goldschmied.
Why we love it: As I mentioned last week, Swift has been rocking some major vintage-inspired looks recently and this is no exception. Mustard yellow has become a staple for fall, and she pairs it with current on-trend colour oxblood. Her sweater also includes a cool printed statement collar as well, which is highlighted by her pearl necklace. Added to this are her polka-dot jeans which draw you eyes down to her fun Charlotte Olympia ‘Kitty’ flats. Overall Swift looks like a cool cat from the beatnick era. Oh and don’t forget the Mark Cross satchel bag and Ray-bans that complete the look too!
Takeaway: Coloured denim is everywhere but you can standout by trying some printed denim like Swift’s polka-dots ones or even Cher Lloyd’s ombré pair.

Taylor Swift’s upcoming record Red seems to have a decidedly eclectic vibe, combining everything from country to pop to dubstep. The chaotic vibe and mixed genres on her newest single “I Knew You Were Trouble” complements the lyrics of the song perfectly.
She said about the track on Good Morning America yesterday: “It’s a song that’s one of my favorite songs on the album because it sounds just as chaotic as the feeling was when I wrote it. It’s a song about kind of being frustrated with yourself because you have your heart broken and you knew when you first saw that person you saw all these red flags and you just went for it anyway.”
Her new single has a dubstep vibe, though it’s not so much Skrillex dubstep as it is Taylor Swift dubstep. The track was written by Swift, along with Max Martin and Shellback. The duo also helped her with “We Are never Ever Getting Back Together.”
We’re in love! The track will be on her upcoming album Red, out on Oct. 22.

Red will never go out of style. It’s a colour that remains classic, regardless of the season. Taylor Swift rocked a red-inspired look in Paris while filming her “Begin Again” music video, off her upcoming album, aptly called Red .
Like Taylor, this look is simple yet stylish. You can rarely go wrong with bold red pants, regardless of what you pair them with. However, be careful with secondary colours because they don’t always complement red. Unless of course you’re colour-blocking — then by all means, knock yourself out.

Hit: Taylor Swift donates money and concert tickets to a school for the deaf after 4Chan joke
The international shit disturbers on Reddit and 4chan thought it would be funny to troll a Facebook contest where Taylor Swift would perform for the school with the most likes. The trolls mean spiritedly decided to cast their votes for Boston’s Horace Mann School for the Deaf. Unfortunately for the school, they were disqualified because of the corrupt votes. It’s always mean spirited when the hopes of innocent kids are involved but thankfully, TSwift naturally rose to the occasion. She donated $10,000 to the school and free tickets to her next local show because of the joke. A number of companies have matched her donation resulting in a total donation amount of $50,000 for the school. Who’s the better WOMAN, now, trolls?
MISS: Chris Brown and Rihanna apparently caught making out

Rumours are swirling that Chris Brown and Rihanna were caught making out while partying in a New York club. It’s an obvious fail considering dirtbag Brown is involved. We all know that Rihanna could do so much better. Maybe Jay-Z can set her up with a nice, smart man to make her happy.
