American Pie franchise has delivered another slice of nostalgia this week with a throwback to 1999′s original poster.
Even though Jim Levinstein (Jason Biggs) has clothes on, Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) is has swapped her flute for a baby bottle, Oz (Chris Klein) has a receding hairline and although he’s not in the poster, everyone’s favourite neurotic Dad (Eugene Levy) is aboard also.
According to Collider, here is the synopsis: “In the comedy American Reunion, all the American Pie characters we met a little more than a decade ago are returning to East Great Falls for their high-school reunion. In one long-overdue weekend, they will discover what has changed, who hasn’t and that time and distance can’t break the bonds of friendship. It was summer 1999 when four small-town Michigan boys began a quest to lose their virginity. In the years that have passed, Jim and Michelle married while Kevin and Vicky said goodbye. Oz and Heather grew apart, but Finch still longs for Stifler’s mom. Now these lifelong friends have come home as adults to reminisce about—and get inspired by—the hormonal teens who launched a comedy legend.”

The third, 2003′s “American Wedding,” grossed $231 million and had a $55 million budget.
“Harold & Kumar’s” Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg also wrote and directed the film – that includes the entire beloved cast of Mena Suvari, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Seann William Scott, Natasha Lyonne, Jennifer Coolidge – and yes, even Tara Reid.

Tara Reid had an embarrassing time yesterday, and was booed off live U.K. television. Reid was a cast member on Britain’s Celebrity Big Brother, and complained how she was portrayed in the show. She was “evicted” from the Big Brother house.
During a later interview, she said ”We shoot it for 24 hours, they edit it down to one hour – I don’t know what they show.”
She ranted, “To be honest with you, what I’ve seen just of these clips right now, I’m not that happy with that. There was a lot of great times (but) I feel like you guys took the toughest times of me and showed it, which is kind of sad. There were so many good things.
“If that’s the only things that you guys showed in the hour, no wonder why people booed me.”
The live audience booed her as she walked off the stage. Tara can never catch a break.
The American Pie franchise will never die. Seriously, how many movies in the franchise do we have? 30 or 40. Well they are not done milking the American franchise. Welcome to American Reunion.
A photo driven teaser appeared on People giving a sneak peak at the upcoming film. The premise of the movie is the characters returning for their highschool reunion. They are all there, including Tara Reid.
Now that Tara Reid is a married woman, she also has to help out with the bills. So the newlywed will be appearing in Celebrity Big Brother 2011 in the U.K.

The studio is also in talks with Alyson Hannigan, best known now for playing Lily Aldrin in CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother”.

Tara Reid caused quite the stir at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles just recently when she decided to discuss some upcoming projects she’d be working on this year.
Among those, said Reid, was a sequel to the Coen brothers’ cult classic, The Big Lebowski.
E Online is reporting that Reid told Hollywood TV the following:
“I have a movie coming out called The Fields. I have another one coming out that I produced with my brother called The Irishman, and we’ll be doing American Pie 4 this year and Big Lebowski 2 this year.”
But don’t hold your breath, Dude fans. Joel and Ethan Coen know nothing about it apparently.
“I’m glad she’s working on it,” joked Ethan when the subject of Reid’s comments came up at a True Grit press junket. Adding that, while they don’t have any plans for a sequel, “we’ll watch it when it comes out.”
“Especially if Tara’s in it,” said Joel.

Actress Tara Reid has undergone surgery in an attempt to fix a botched boob job, Reuters reports.
Reid told US Weekly magazine she had surgery last month to reduce the scarring on her breasts and to even out her stomach after cosmetic surgery in 2004.
“I was on Web sites as having the ugliest boob job in the world. I was devastated,” Reid, 30, told the magazine. “Guys I was dating would be like, ‘What’s wrong with them? They look really bad. You know, you should really get them fixed.’ So embarrassing, I mean, you definitely had to turn off the lights. And then there was my stomach.”
Reid had a tummy tuck to try to get a six-pack, but ended up as one of the biggest jokes in Hollywood. Her reputation has been further damaged by nip slips on various red carpets.
“I couldn’t wear a bikini. I lost a lot of work. I lost my confidence,” she said. “This was a nightmare I lived through.”
Actress Tara Reid’s new film, “Incubus,” won’t reach the silver screen, but instead will be released on AOL.
AOL will offer the movie for download to online audiences for $7.99 on AOL Red, or $3.49 for a five-day rental. Although the service is already available to AOL subscribers, it will be launched to non-subscribers this Halloween, reports the Los Angeles Times.
Swearing and a sex scene have been edited out for the release, however producers hope to release an uncensored cut on DVD a month after the Internet release.
AOL Red is a subscription site for teenagers and already has an estimated four million users, and their numbers are expected to rise when it opens to general Internet users.
“Incubus” producer Adam Shapiro told The Times that he and his partner decided on the direct to download route when it became clear that the film would not receive a theatrical release.
Earlier this year, the indie film “Waterbourne” failed to gain an audience when it was released on Google Video, and critics have questioned whether people are ready to watch films on their computers.
“I think there must be a journalist school where students are taught how to kill Tara Reid,” the actress tells Steppin’ Out magazine in an issue being released in two weeks.
Reid doesn’t think the abuse she has taken from the U.S. media is justified.

Actress Tara Reid was robbed of $180,000 in jewels at Spain’s Ibiza Airport Sunday.
Reid, 29, was awaiting her luggage at the airport when someone suddenly snatched the bag off the luggage trolley and ran off. Reid became hysterical following the incident.
?Before she had even managed to collect her luggage from the carousel an opportunist swiped her black Balenciaga handbag from the trolley,? reports hollywood.com.
The thief ran off with the designer bag, which has many goodies inside including a Rolex watch along with her personal jewelry collection, which all had great sentimental value to her.
The police stated that the chances of catching the thief are slim.
Reid is busy in Europe with filming her reality show, Wild On Tara.
While traveling with the series, Reid required special accommodations. While checking into Hotel Baglioni, Reid requested two rooms. Along with her $3,700-a-night suite, Reid also gets a room for her shoes. I guess a girl can?t have enough shoes.
