Jimmy Kimmel is saying goodbye to his midnight time slot as his live show is moving to the 11:35 PM time slot tonight. As a farewell, ABC edited a highlight reel packed with the shows most memorable moments.
Funny moments included on the reel include a “nice off” with Ellen Degeneres, zip lining with Tom Cruise, fist bumping a virtual Obama, smooching with Charlie Sheen, and being told to mind his own business by comedy legend Mel Brooks. Justin Beiber fangirls might also want to watch (or not), as Kimmel shaves off his picture perfect hair.
This change in time slot will put this talk show host in competition with The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Show with David Letterman. Kimmel told ET’s Rocsi Diaz that he’s not nervous, and that the competition doesn’t put any added pressure on him.

One of the funniest and controversial female comedians, Chelsea Handler, made an appearance on “Conan” last night.
The host of late night talk show “Chelsea Lately” discussed her dating life with the ginger, saying she’s “on the prowl”.
Chelsea’s always been quite frank about her love life. She even wrote a book called “My Horizontal Life”, devoted to all the men she hooked up with in her early years.
Not that many woman can get away with discussing ever so bluntly how much they love sex. In fact, Chelsea’s probably the only guest on “Conan” that can talk that way and not get scrutinized for it.

The snarky but equally funny British comedian, Russel Brand, a.k.a. Mr. Katy Perry, is set to host his own late night show on FX.
Gossip Cop writes Russell inked a 6-episode deal with the channel to launch his late night show in the spring.
The untitled show will feature Russell’s take on pop culture, politics and current affairs. The always opinionated funnyman expresses his excitement in a statement, saying, “I am so excited I’m on the point of climax, in fact I will put the ‘O’ into FX, which spells Fox, which is actually the channel’s real name.”
It will be really refreshing to hear Russell’s take on things as he’s essentially the newest face on late night television. He’s always known for speaking his mind and I’d love to finally listen to his thoughts on celebrity gossip, instead of just reading his tweets.
As Jimmy Fallon relies on The Roots as a backing band, could Russell hire on his wife Katy to be his musical sidekick? These two don’t often appear on t.v. togetehr, so if this happens, it’s definitely a sight worth seeing.
Well played, Jimmy Fallon, well played!
Since news broke about Justin Bieber’s alleged baby mama drama, everyone’s been poking fun at him. Justin Bieber is still a baby more or less, so to think of him raising a baby is just obsurd.
On his late night talk show, Jimmy Fallon does a great spoof of Justin’s song Baby, calling his rendition (It’s Not My) Baby. Jimmy even got a Black Thought, member of The Roots to provide the Ludacris rap verse that’s featured in the original song. He changed the lyrics up, of course.
“She was my first lover, got her over that bathroom sink. I forgot to put a rubber, on my shrinky dink.” Genius!
Jimmy’s impressions of celebrities are always dead-on and I can see this spoof being the next YouTube hit. Watch the video below.
Aw, Lizzie McGuire is all grown up! Actress-turned-singer-turned-hockey-wife Hilary Duff who’s only at the ripe ol’ age of 24 is expecting a baby with husband Mike Comrie.
JustJared reports she recently taped an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show that will air this Monday. She told Ellen she’s expecting a boy.
The So Yesterday singer, who got married only a year ago, is four months into her pregnancy.
I know when you’re young and in love you just want to take the fast lane but there’s a reason the expression “only fools rush in” exists. Hold your horses, Hilary or before you know it, you’ll be exiled from Hollywood, driving minivans in suburbia and shopping for the kids at K-Mart.
Jon Cryer, star of ‘Two And A Half Men,’ spoke to David Letterman last night about former costar Charlie Sheen’s very public meltdown.
Cryer apparently never saw it coming that Sheen would be fired and embark on a crazy media frenzy.
Even though Sheen has publicly bashed him, calling him a “troll” to the media, Cryer also still considers the troubled actor a “good friend.”
As for Sheen’s new replacement, Ashton Kutcher, Cryer feels confident about the new direction of the show.
“We had a very quick meeting to see if we could deal with each other, and we could,” Cryer told Letterman.
“They threw everything together very quickly and they had to fly us to New York so they could parade us in front of advertisers. And they put us in the CBS corporate jet, which was very snazzy.”

There has been much speculation over who will be the last guests on ‘Oprah,’ and now they have been finally revealed. Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith will be the last guests on the legendary talk show, reports The Daily Mail.
The episode will air May 25 and bids farewell to the show, marking its finale episode after 25 years.
Previous options had included Oprah’s long term boyfriend Stedman Graham, Tom Cruise, Jennifer Aniston, Gabrielle Giffords or Dr Phil McGraw. Thank god it’s not Dr Phil.
Smith and his wife and children have been on Oprah’s show many times in the past, with ‘Karate Kid’ star Jaden and ‘Whip My Hair’ singer Willow previously joining their parents on the famous couch.
The multi-billionaire announced in November 2009 that she was going to end her popular talk show. She has since then launched her own television network, called OWN – Oprah Winfrey Network.
Ratings have not been great for the network, though, which pulls in a fraction of the audience figures she is used to on her nationally syndicated show. She has vowed to focus more time and energy on it once she finishes filming the talk show.
And there you have it. I’ll definitely miss the emotional Oprah episodes, but I’m sure she’ll stir up lots of new things on her network. I’m also kind of surprised she picked the Smiths to appear on the last episode – I would have thought she’d pick someone bigger, but hey.
With Conan O’Brien’s new late night talk show debuting on TBS this Monday, information has leaked about the mystery first guest.
TMZ has learned it’s no other than “Nutcracker Lady” Arlene Wagner. Wagner opened the Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum in Washington back in 1995 with her husband — was picked to be the first guest on “Conan” … and will be flying to L.A. on Saturday.
The audience was actually able to vote for the first guest using an online poll. Other people in the running included Lady Gaga, Jack Nicholson, Justin Bieber and The Pope.
Oprah fans: no need to fret! Network executives have found you a possible replacement: Rosie O’Donnell. After the legendary talk show host announced that she was pulling her show in 2011, network executives have been scrambling to fill the spot on the daytime talk show circuit, reports E! Online.
O’Donnell, now 47, hasn’t been up to much recently, after leaving The View in May 2007, unless you’ve seen her guest spots on shows like Curb Your Enthusiasm, Nip/Tuck and Drop Dead Diva. She also launched the daily show, Rosie Radio on Sirius XM, which she hosts in New York in a custom-built home studio.
