Have you seen Taking Back Sunday’s newest video for “Faith?” It’s a hilarious video following the band’s cat who makes it big on YouTube and goes to Hollywood. We tried to make a viral cat video as well, along with talking to the band about their recent release.

Against Me!, Missy Higgins, Taking Back Sunday and Adam Sandler are among the eclectic group of artists featured on “Covered, A Revolution in Sound: Warner Bros. Records,” due out Feb. 25.

According to Billboard, the release showcases 11 current Warner Music Group acts, each covering a classic tune from the label’s back catalogue.

Among the acts getting the cover treatment are Madonna (“Borderline,” by Flaming Lips with Stardeath and White Dwarfs), Talking Heads (“Burning Down the House,” by the Used) and Canadian Joni Mitchell (“A Case of You,” by Michelle Branch).

Another Canadian, Neil Young, is covered by Sandler, who performed his version of “Like a Hurricane” on “The Late Show with David Letterman” last month.

Taking Back Sunday, Angels and Airwaves Announce Tour

In the middle of their first headlining tour as major label artists, Taking Back Sunday have announced another tour.

They will hit the road with former Blink 182 member Tom DeLonge’s new band Angels and Airwaves, as well as Head Automatica, starting June 22 in Jackson, New Jersey.

They’ll tour for a month before wrapping it up July 23 in San Diego, California.

MTV reports that more dates are expected to be announced.

How will fans greet Taking Back Sunday, now that the indie rockers are with a major label?

The sometimes-emo sometimes-punk band, which will release its Warner Bros. debut “Louder Now,” in the coming months, has announced plans for a North American tour for the spring.

They’ll begin the jaunt on March 31 in Colorado before packing up in May.

Their second album, “Where You Want to Be,” was released in 2004 and has sold 700,000 copies, according to Billboard.

Tickets for most shows go on sale this week through the usual outlets.
