Nicki Minaj and Susan Boyle apparently developed a friendship after appearing together on America’s Got Talent. The two also traded some vocal tips.
“The two stars might be total opposites but they got on like a house on fire. Nicki was showing Susan all of the stage outfits she’d brought with her and she kept asking to try them on. She was fascinated by Nicki’s bum and just couldn’t take her hands off it” a source told PerezHilton.

Perez Hilton is reporting that contrary to what British papers have been reporting all weekend, Glenn Close is definitely not working on a Susan Boyle Biopic.
Why? Because no such movie is in the works!!
Close’s reps were a little slow to jump on the denial train but they eventually got there, claiming that the whole thing is “complete rubbish.”

Susan Boyle had to cancel her appearance on “Dancing With The Stars” due to a sore throat. Boyle was supposed to showoff some of her new tracks from her newest album coming this fall.
“Her doctor advised her not to sing due to a severe throat infection,” her rep says in a statement to PEOPLE. “Susan is very upset at letting her fans down. Their continued support means so much to her.”
Remember the “mildly” haggard looking woman (often mistaken for a man) who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent? Sure you do, she’s none other than Susan Boyle. TMZ reports that she was straight up snubbed by The Velvet Underground’s former front man, Lou Reed, when he refused to let her sing his song, ” A Perfect Day,” on “America’s Got Talent.”
Why would Reed snub the ever-so-popular Boyle? Apparently he is not her biggest fan. Maybe it is because Susan Boyle is not American. Her thick Scottish accent could definitely do major damage to the song and with the current turmoil of the United States, patriotism is a must. Or maybe this is yet another comment on her appearance. Christ man, not everyone looks like Nico.
Perhaps “Lonesome Cowboy Boyle” would have been a more appropriate song to choose. Unfortunately, Boyle had “Oh Sweet Nuthin’” to sing on the show after she was shut down by Reed. Obviously Boyle is a great singer but it does seem a little strange for her to choose the song in the first place. Perhaps Reed should have acknowledged her attempt to “Take a Walk on the Wild Side.” In any case, America’s Got Talent refused to comment on the subject and Boyle was so utterly heartbroken that she hopped on the first plane out of LAX back to Britain.
Boyle just can’t catch a break. First she is criticized for her appearance and then she is publicly denounced by Reed. It seems as though Boyle, like Reed, may be headed underground.
Singer Susan Boyle has decided to leave her native Scotland for London since her West Lothian home was broken into, reports Perez Hilton.
“She has now agreed to move to a place in the city where she’ll stay when busy working,” said a source. “The flat will be cat-friendly, so she can take Pebbles too.”
It appears that when Susan’s away, the kids will play. The Scottish vocal phenomenon returned home after recording a charity song for Haiti only to find a young teenage boy retreating off her property. When Boyle walked inside her house, she reported that some of her items had been “disturbed.”
Boyle called the Blackburn police, who quickly arrived and detained the 15-16 year-old boy. Shortly after, the boy was released.
Although they obviously have very different styles, Lady Gaga wants to work with Susan Boyle. Canoe.ca reports that Gaga has claimed Susan Boyle “women of the year”. Gaga became a fan after seeing her appearance on Britain’s Got Talent on the Internet, and loved Simon Cowell’s reaction of seeing the British singer.

Priscilla Renea: From what I can remember I’ve always been into music. My birth father played the trumpet and my mother was the lead singer in several bands. As far as music as a profession goes, I just recently decided to pursue it as a career a couple of years ago.
Susan Boyle, who placed second in the season three competition of Britain’s Got Talent, has teamed up with American Idol judge Simon Cowell to begin recording her debut album, reports E! Online. After the songstress’ issues with hospitalization, stress and exhaustion, Cowell and Sony Music are putting no pressure on her to record. Her contract allows her to walk away at any time.
“She sounds fantastic on record,” Cowell told People. “She’s so good, the album is not just going to be show tunes.”
Boyle is currently touring the United Kingdom on the Britain’s Got Talent tour.
During a stop in Hong Kong to promote her latest album “All I Ever Wanted,” first “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson shared her thoughts on YouTube sensation and “Britain’s Got Talent” contestant Susan Boyle.
“I think it’s awesome,” Clarkson told The Associated Press. “I’m bawling whenever I hear her sing.”
But not everyone is praising 48-year-old Boyle. “Smile” singer Lily Allen doesn’t see why there’s so much hype surrounding the Scottish singer. Allen wrote, “Susan Boyle is so overrated,” on her Twitter account over the weekend.

The first time I heard about Twilight, it was through the movie trailer on youtube. A friend, terminally in love with Edward, proudly showed me the preview, and I’ll admit to being excited. Yes, it’s about vampires and werewolves, but don’t be too quick to judge, at least the movie trailer was great.
Without youtube, the world would be deprived of this oh-so-original rap artist. Soulja Boy demonstrated the power of online networking through this youtube phenomenon, and had people on their feet within minutes. For those of you who don’t know the steps to Crank Dat, it’s time to crawl out of that dark hole you have been living in, and ” Superman that Hoe”.
Music artists and movie stars never fail to entertain me (however, I do get easily amused). Whether I laugh with them (or, in most cases, at them) or actually pity their heartaches and failures (which doesn’t happen often)—I always look forward to the next celebrity hook-up/screw-up.
And the month of April did not disappoint. Here are the five best and worst moments in pop culture that made me grateful that such somewhat petty life moments in my life aren’t publicized for the world:

Either way, I’m happy.
