Talk about brotherly love. Liam Gallagher is suing his brother Noel for calling him a “drunk.”

TMZ reports Noel claims Oasis bailed on a 2009 music festival because Liam was too “hung over to perform.”

Liam just told U.K. tabloid The Sun: “I have taken legal action against Noel Gallagher for statements he made claiming Oasis pulled out of the 2009 V festival Chelmsford gig because I had a hangover.”

Liam claims the real reason was he had a case of laryngitis.

He adds, “I tried to resolve this amicably but have been left with no choice but legal action. All I want is an apology.”

Yet another example of why you shouldn’t mix business with family.

Pitbull Sued By Lindsay Lohan

In Pitbull’s track “Give Me Everything,” he makes some unflattering comments about Lindsay Lohan. Now Lohan is suing.

The lyric which is causing the controversy is:

Hustlers move aside, so I’m tiptoein’, to keep flowin’
I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.
Lindsay is claiming in her lawsuit … “the lyrics, by virtue of its wide appeal, condemnation, excoriation, disparaging or defamatory statements by the defendants about the plaintiff are destined to do irreparable harm to the plaintiff.”

TMZ reports Lohan is trying to stop Pitbull from broadcasting or performing the song.

Songwriter Sues Lady Gaga over ‘Judas’

Well this is embarrassing. Lady Gaga is being sued by Rebecca Francescatti who claims Gaga ripped off “Judas” from her.

Rebecca claims to have written a song called “Juda” in 1999, which sounds quite similar to Gaga’s tune. And Rebecca has proof Gaga’s song is hers. Rebecca’s former bass player, Brian Gaynor, is now employed by a song writing firm that wrote 17 of the songs on “Born This Way.”

Rebecca’s lawyer, Chris Niro, tells TMZ, “Though the songs are different styles, the composition is the same and the chorus is the same melody … [Rebecca] is seeking recognition for what she created.”

Rebecca is suing for an unspecified amount. Rebecca certainly has some convincing evidence, and this definitely hurts some of Gaga’s credibility.

Well, that’s what happens when you don’t write your own songs.

The Situation Sued by Managers

As if The Situation didn’t have enough problems. First lawsuits flying back in forth with his Dad, and now he is being sued by his former management group, Gotham NYC Entertainment.

TMZ reports The Situation dumped his former managers in May “due to lack of performance.” In the management’s lawsuit, they claim Sorrentino violated the agreement by not giving “30 days notice … and a chance to correct any issues.”

Gotham is suing for $1 Million, and they say they are responsible for Sorrentino’s fame.

We aren’t sure that is exactly fair. The Situation is famous because of Jersey Shore. which he obtained on his own merit. The management group just try to help him profit from it. However, that doesn’t mean the two sides are married to one another.

Rick Ross Dogs Kill Yorkshire Terrier

Rick Ross is accused of being involved in a murder – a murder of a Yorkshire Terrier. According to TMZ, Ross’ 3 pitbulls are the responsible for the death, but ultimately Rick is the real one responsible.

The Yorkshire Terrier was named Banks, and according to reports, Ross’ pit bulls escaped from his Atlanta mansion, and attacked the small dog.

The dog suffered ”3 large bite wounds on his back ” along with a “very large bite wound” around his neck. Banks was euthanized immediately after.

Ross was cited for the incident, but Banks’ owner is also suing for $15,000 in damages and court costs.

Rick – sorry buddy but you are on the hook for this one.

Lindsay Lohan Sued By Photographer

Lindsay Lohan is being sued by a photographer for failing to pay him, reports TMZ.

The photographer, Scott Nathan, has previously sued Lohan’s clothing line ’6126′ for never paying him for his work, and now he’s suing again, claiming Lohan still hasn’t fulfilled her part of the settlement.

Nathan stated in the lawsuit, which settled for an undisclosed amount back in December, that ’6126′ was supposed to be making payments beginning in March.

Nathan was hired to shoot pictures of Lohan and was promised a 1% interest in the clothing line in return for his work, but he claims that never happened.

Now Nathan is asking a judge for an order to enforce the settlement.

A rep for Lohan told TMZ, “We don’t comment on any pending legal situations with third parties.”

This girl needs to get her act together. I mean, thank god it’s not alcohol or drug problems, but she needs to manage her finances a little better. If you want to run a successful business, you best start paying your staff.

Britney Spears Sued For $10 Million Over Fragrance

Britney Spears is being sued for $10 million over a fragrance, reports CTV.

Spears and her father, Jamie, are reportedly being sued by licensing firm Brand Sense Partners.

The firm is alleging that the two have breached their contract, and claim that the company has stopped receiving their 35 per cent commission from Britney’s fragrance line.

The company is asking for the singer to appear for a deposition in relation to the suit.

Britney’s lawyers state the singer cannot appear in a deposition, though, because her father Jamie has conservatorship over her and controls her affairs.

The company still wants Spears to appear in court, though, stating: “Ms. Spears is competent to testify, and she is the key witness in this case. She has direct knowledge of the operative agreement at the heart of this dispute and has signed each of them.”

The court hearing is set for July 11, where it will be decided if Spears must participate in the court battle. Spears has released multiple fragrances, including ‘Beauty,’ ‘Fantasy’ and ‘Curious.’

Let’s hope they resolve this quickly. Spears is just getting back on track, and the last thing she needs is a very public legal battle!

Tim McGraw Sued For Breaching Label Contract

Curb Records is suing country star Tim McGraw for a breach in his label contract, reports Billboard.

The record company alleges that McGraw recorded the album too early prior to its delivery “in a transparent tactic to attempt to fulfill his contractual recording commitment to Curb prematurely in breach of the recording agreement.”

Curb’s position in the suit is that McGraw’s recordings must be “topical and new” and that the artist had agreed that each new album would be recorded “no earlier than 12 months and no later than 18 months” following the delivery of the previous album.

The suit alleges McGraw began recording “Emotional Traffic” tracks “in 2008 or before,” prior to the allowable period under contract.

Curb has been the only label home for McGraw, who released his first album in April of 1993. In recent years, McGraw has been outspoken about his frustration with his label deal. Guess this is the nail in the coffin for him.

The suit seeks undisclosed damages and a sixth “option period” record, as well as “injunctive relief preventing him from agreeing to provide, or providing, his personal services as a recording artist for the benefit of parties other than Curb Records until he has fulfilled his duties and obligations under the Recording Agreement.”

I know he breached his contract, but what do they really care if he recorded it earlier than supposed to? As long as he produces good music, I think they should be fine with it.

Gordon Ramsay Sued by Mother-in-Law

It’s tough to be in business with family, and master chef Gordan Ramsay is a perfect example why.

Here’s the story. Last year Gordon fired his Father-in-Law, Chris Hutcheson, who was running the business side of Gordon’s food empire. There was apparently some problems and Chris was abrubtly fired.

The Daily Mail reports Hutcheson’s wife, mother of Ramsay’s wife Tana, will allegedly file suit next, claiming breach of contract, unfair dismissal, breach of working times and failure to pay redundancies. Her son and grandson are also suing Ramsay under similar charges.

Ramsay fought back by publishing an open letter begging his mother-in-law to see her daughter, claiming that his wife was “in floods of tears.” He wrote, “You’re punishing your daughter and our four children for all the wrong reasons.”

And this is why you don’t mix business with family. In fact we wouldn’t go into business with Gordan Ramsay under any circumstance. He may be a great chef, but he also seems f-ing nuts!

Andy Dick Sued for Exposing His Balls

Andy Dick is in trouble again, and its for another stupid reason. This time Dick is being sued for exposing his balls, and then forcing them onto a guy’s head.

Details of the lewd encounter are courtesy of the lawsuit Robert Tucker filed this week in Dallas County, according to RadarOnline.com.

More or less the story is Andy was performing in Texas in a blonde wig, black camisole and loose red skirt when he stepped off the stage to interact with his audience.

Dick was approached by Tucker for an autograph. Dick then kneeled on a bar stool, and exposed himself, while playing with the Plaintiff’s head. The lawsuit further explains,

“Defendant Dick then, while still controlling Plaintiff’s head with his hand, forced his genitals against the left side of Plaintiff’s face.”

Mike Tyson Sued for $25 Million by Photographer

Mike Tyson is being sued for $25 Million by a photographer who claims the boxer beat him down last November at LAX.

TMZ reports the photographer — Antonio Echavarria — claims Tyson attacked him, hit him with a closed fist, and broke his camera. The photographer claims he suffered a concussion and a strained spinal chord.

Tyson was initially arrested after the incident and booked for misdemeanor battery. The case was thrown out however as the L.A. City Attorney officially rejected the case, citing “insufficient evidence.”

Go Daddy Sued for Pictures Used in Online Michael Jackson Casino

So this is probably exploitation of a man’s death at its finest! A lawsuit has erupted over the use of some Michael Jackson photos at MichaelJacksonCasino.com.

Howard Mann is the gentleman who claims to own the photos used at MichaelJacksonCasino.com, but never authorized their use. However Mann can’t find the identity of the person running the site, so now he is suing GoDaddy.com to reveal the identity. GoDaddy was used to register the domain.

Mann is suing for $100 Million from both GoDaddy and the site owner for damages.

A rep for Go Daddy tells TMZ, “While we have not seen the lawsuit, if we are named, Go Daddy plans to vigorously defend itself.” The rep adds, “When customers are involved in a legal dispute, Go Daddy complies with court orders.”

Granted Mann may have a point if he never authorized the use of these photos, however he is just trying to exploit MJ’s death. He is no different than the sleeze who is running MichaelJacksonCasino.com.

Danny Masterson of ‘The 70′s Show’ Bankrupt?

Danny Masterson, who played Steven Hyde on “The 70′s Show,” maybe in some financial trouble.

PerezHilton reports Masterson’s limited liability company filed for bankruptcy last month in Nevada. Apparently the TomatoBank is suing him for $2.9 million. He has taken a loan out for $3.2 million from the lender but has yet to pay the full amount back.

Danny’s lawyer argues there is a “legitimate dispute” between Danny and the bank, and that Danny has done nothing wrong.

Masterson took the loan out to develop condos as his new gig after acting is property development. You gotta give the guy credit for diversifying, and hopefully he has not gone over his head.

Carrie Prejean Sued – Hasn’t Paid PR Bill

Carrie Prejean found herself in hot water during April 2009 for comments she made regarding gay marriage. Prejean explained that she was opposed to gay marriage while contending in the 2009 Miss USA pageant.

Those comments lead to a PR nightmare for the California beauty – forcing her to hire a PR firm to help her out. Prejean hired A. Larry Ross Communications, costing Prejean over $64,000, according to TMZ.

However she has yet to pay the bill! Consequently the PR firm has filed suit against Carrie looking for their money. Let’s see her talk her way out of this one.

Quentin Tarantino Sued Over ‘Kill Bill’

Apparently Hollywood is just like high school: everyone cheats…or gets accused of cheating, at least.

Fresh from his Best Director Oscar loss for Inglorious Basterds, Quentin Tarantino is now being sued by a man who says that the quirky film director stole his concept for “Kill Bill,” according to a TMZ report.

In a lawsuit that was filed Tuesday (March 9), Dannez Hunter says that in 1999 he submitted a treatment to Miramax about a made-up character named Ren. He claims that eventually Miramax, Harvey Weinstein and Tarantino ripped-off his ideas, including the “concept/character name Ren.” Hunter says that Tarantino copied everything from Ren witnessing her mother’s gruesome murder to the knife through the abdomen, etc.

To make matters worse, Hunter, who says he was from the inner city, applied for a job at Miramax but “was never given a return phone call, as numerous similar situated less qualified Jewish and White people were bestowed job after job after job.”

Hunter, who it could be argued has some deeper issues than just the “stealing” of his ideas, alleges that he was denied royalties in the “Kill Bill” franchise compared to similarly situated Whites and Jews. He is suing for over one million dollars.

As if he wasn’t going through enough drama this year, T.I. now has one more thing to add to his list.

The rapper, who is currently in a halfway house after doing time in jail for weapons possession, is being sued for copyright infringement, reports perezhilton.com.

Rapper Motoe Blizzid is claiming that T.I. used part of is 2004 song “Reverence” in T.I.’s hit song “What You Know.”

Blizzid is suggesting that T.I.’s 2006 track has the “same rate of harmonic range” and that they have “nearly identical instrumental melodic lines in terms of pitch, shape, and rhythm.” Blizzid is seeking damages and profits received from “What You Know.”

Nicolas Cage Sued – Again!

After he has reported financial ruin, another group has got in line to sue Nicolas Cage. According to PEOPLE.com, this time it’s a real estate company that claims Cage owes $5 million in unpaid loans. Attorneys for Red Curb Investments allege that Cage, his accountant, and a mortgage broker defrauded the Company by not properly disclosing Cage’s true financial picture, including $6.3 million owed to the IRS.

Cage’s attorney claims Nicolas did nothing wrong, and his former accountant is responsible for Nicolas’ current financial devastation. The accountant is claiming that Cage’s finances are due to the actor’s reckless spending.

Judge Dismisses Case That ‘Twilight’ Author Stephenie Meyer Stole Idea

Stephenie Meyer, author of the hugely popular book-turned-movie series “Twilight,” was recently being sued over allegations that she stole her beloved vampire ideas from another author. However, as TMZ reports, the judge completely dismissed the idea.

Competing vampire author Jordan Scott claimed that her book, “The Nocturne,” was ripped off by Meyer. The judge slammed Scott, saying that her accusation was “deceptive,” and completely illegitimate.

Scott alleged that the wedding, consummation and birth scenes between Edward and Bella in Meyer’s book “Breaking Dawn” were eerily similar to scenes from “The Nocturne.” But the judge shut down Scott, saying that she had “twice manipulated aspects of the subject works in order to create the appearance of similarity.”

The case has been officially dismissed.

Pamela Bach Sued Over DUI

David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife, Pamela Bach, is being sued in connection with an incident in March that resulting in her getting a DUI, reports TMZ.

Mitchell Paulson is seeking unspecified damages. He alleges Bach slammed into his car and injured him when she was driving under the influence.

Bach pleaded no contest to the DUI charge and was placed on probation.

Saturday night, she was arrested for driving under the influence after blowing a 0.13 and a 0.14. Since it is a repeat offense, she will likely serve jail time.

Seinfeld and Wife Sued Over Heated Cook Book Battle

A heated cook book debate just got a lot more unappetizing, as Jerry Seinfeld and his wife were sued yesterday.

Missy Chase Lapine has accused Jerry Seinfeld’s wife, Jessica, of “brazenly” plagiarizing from her recipe book, “The Sneaky Chef.” Mrs. Seinfeld’s book, entitled “Deceptively Delicious,” was released six months after Lapine’s. Both are collections of recipes that hide healthy ingredients in meals for children.

Mr. Seinfeld was included in the lawsuit for defamation of character. When reports first surfaced of the commonalities of the two books, Mr. Seinfeld made comments about Lapine being a “wacko” while on the David Letterman show. Seinfeld called Lapine “angry” and “hysterical,” compared her to Letterman’s past stalkers, and noted she is a “three-name woman… if you read history, many of the three-name people do become assassins.”

Lapine’s 19-page filing seeks unspecified damages.
