Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. has finished recording his second solo album, entitled “Como Te Llama.”

The 13-track follow-up to 2006’s well-received “Yours To Keep” is expected to be released in June.

Hammond Jr. wrote on his MySpace page that he has plans “to tour all year and come to each and everyone’s town.”

“There are a lot of cool things I want to show you but I have to do it slowly and this letter is just the beginning.”

He also thanked his fans for their support over the past two years, saying, “It really means the world to me.”

The Strokes released their third studio album, “First Impressions of Earth,” in January 2006. The band won for best international band at the NME Awards that same year.
