Well now, this definitely makes me feel like the world is a safer place!

Just months after having been arrested at the 2011 Juno Awards held in Toronto, Giovanni Palumbo, the lonely stalker who sent Shania Twain love letters and flowers, has been released from prison.

Palumbo was released on Tuesday and given three years of probation. According to the Toronto Star, during the testimony Polumbo looked “ pale, gaunt, disheveled and was unshaven.”

“He hung his head and even took to lying on the bench in the prisoner’s box, curling up in a fetal position,” described journalist Curtis Rush. “Even when freed at the end of the day, there was no joy on his face.”

Since the beginning of this debacle a few years ago, Polumbo has been ordered to not come within half a kilometer of the country singer, and had his license to practice medicine revoked. He also lost contact with his family over the years.

It’s a wonder what will happen to Polumbo next. Whatever it is, we definitely hope it’s away from Shania. Who knows what compelled him to do all of this. We know Shania is very talented, but his creepy actions might have pushed it just a bit too far. We wish the best for both of them.

Stalker of Selena Gomez Gets Three Year Restraining Order

The 46-year-old man that claimed God told him he needed to kill young starlet Selena Gomez, plead not guilty in a recent court appearance.

CBS News says his bail is set at $150,000, and if he is convicted he faces up to three years in prison. The judge upgraded Thomas Brodnicki’s restraining order to three years. The man is not allowed to contact or go anywhere near Selena or her family. If he does, he will go straight to jail, will not pass GO or collect $200.

Brodnicki – who TMZ says has a history of criminal stalking the famous – is scheduled for another court appearance on November 16. Let’s hope God tells him to show up on time.

Justin Bieber’s Ex Gets Restraining Order

This is a crazy. As we previously reported Justin Bieber’s ex, Jasmine Villegas, had a man stalking her. This man also allegedly paid a man $5,000 to assassinate her.

Luckily Jamsine has got an order against Steven Cintron that says he must stay at least 100 yards away from her and her family. Cintron had sent Jasmine 1000′s of messages on Facebook and YouTube threatening to kill her.

A judge in Los Angeles has now extended the temporary injunction to a three-year restraining order, according to TMZ.

Why Does James Rainford Stalk Paris Hilton?

Seriously why would you ever want to stalk Paris Hilton? James Rainford, what is your problem? Stalking is weird enough, but Paris Hilton? Come on now!

James has a history of stalking Paris. He was responsible for beating up Paris’ ex-boyfriend in April. And in October 2010 he was caught sneaking on Paris’ property. And again on Monday he was arrested for trying to get near Hilton.

So stalking is weird enough and any stalker needs psychiatric help. But this guy needs the turbo charged version. Seriously, you don’t even need to stalk Paris Hilton. She is always in the spotlight, and if you want to see her naked, just watch her sex tape.

Lindsay Lohan Gets Restraining Order Against Stalker

Lindsay Lohan has obtained a restraining order against an alleged stalker, reports TMZ.

The stalker has been so aggressive that Lohan fears he could commit sexual assault against her. The temporary restraining order was issued against David Cocordan, who Lohan claims has been harassing and stalking her for 2 years.

According to her declaration, Lohan claims Cocordan’s conduct has escalated over the last 4 weeks. He has come to her home at least 3 times, followed her to public appearances and sent her more than a hundred text messages as well as phone calls.

Cocordan reportedly sent a text message on May 5 saying, “F**king n sucking wit u kkk i need it more thn.” Lindsay says in her declaration, “I am afraid that this text message shows that Mr. Cocordan intends to sexually assault me.”

LAPD’s Threat Management Department believes Cocordan has mental issues and is schizophrenic. Lindsay says she fears for her personal safety, and the judge ordered the man to stay clear of her and have no communication.

Great news for her – it’s about time the man be ordered to stay away. It’s kind of scary that it took 2 years of stalking for this man to be ordered away, though. You think she could have got a restraining order faster.

Paris Hilton Attacker James Rainford Sentenced to Prison

James Rainford, the man that attacked Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits, has been sentenced to jail.

TMZ is reporting that Rainford got sentenced to 227 days in prison after he pleaded ‘no contest’ to misdemeanor battery.

Unfortunately thus guy has been stalking Hilton for a while. Rainford was already on probation for trespassing on Paris’ property in October.

In addition to the jail sentence, Rainford was sentenced to three years informal probation and ordered to stay away from Waits once he’s released.

The guy obviously belongs in some type of mental rehab facility. Not only is he crazy for stalking somebody, but to stalk Paris Hilton? He couldn’t at least pick someone interesting and talented?

Miley Cyrus Stalker Arrested

I’m going to throw out a general rule: If you believe that you have date with a massive celebrity at 4 a.m., and you have never in your life met the person, and you also feel the proper way to pick the person up for this date is by breaking into their backyard, you MIGHT be a stalker!

And in Miley Cyrus’s case, that’s exactly what it was! Perez Hilton is reporting that 26-year-old Musa Danasabe Ibrahaim, was arrested on Miley’s neighbour’s lawn yesterday for trespassing. The man has been suspected of stalking Cyrus for quite some time now. Too bad he got the wrong house.

Police released the following statement:

“Ibrahaim was trying to make entry into Miley Cyrus’ house, but he got the houses mixed up. When we arrived on scene, we found him in her neighbor’s yard. He was arrested for trespassing.”

Ibrahaim then claimed he had a “date” with Miley. It was 4 a.m.; unless he had a bong in his hoodie, Miley would NOT have been interested.

Jeff Goldblum Asks for a Restraining Order, Past Stalker to be Released

Actor Jeff Goldblum sent his lawyer to court Friday to ask a judge for a restraining order against a woman who used to stalk him in advance of her release from a mental institution. Linda Ransom has been stalking Goldblum since 2001 and has been arrested five times in connection with similar activities.

Ransom has been booked for both trespassing and stalking before and, as TMZ reports, will soon be released from the institution that she has been at since she was declared incompetent in 2009.

However, the restraining order that Goldblum’s lawyer wanted was denied by the judge, who said that before an order can be given Ransom will have to pose a new, legitimate threat. Definitely bad news for the guy.

If and when the woman does go after the actor again, it’s likely that an order would be issued, but until then Goldblum will have to wait and hope for the best.

Leonardo DiCaprio Gets a Restraining Order on Stalker

TMZ reports that Leonardo DiCaprio doesn’t have to wait in limbo any longer to get protection from a “delusional” woman.

Livia Bistriceanu believes that she is married to DiCaprio and that she is carrying his child, and according to Leo, she’s tried to contact him several times. This all lead to the courts fulfilling DiCaprio’s wishes and a restraining order being slapped down on Bistriceanu.

For the next three years, Bistriceanu has to stay at least 100 yards away from DiCaprio, which is good news for the actor.

As he put it in his declaration, “I am frightened of Ms. Bistriceanu and feel that my personal safety, and the personal safety of those around me, is in jeopardy.”

Sandra Bullock Gets Restraining Order Against Stalker

Academy Award winning actress Sandra Bullock has a temporary restraining order against a man who has been accused of stalking her, reports Perez Hilton.

This is not the first time that 41-year-old Thomas James Weldon has been accused of stalking the actress. Bullock first obtained a restraining order against Weldon back in 2003 but it expired in 2009. He entered a Tennessee mental institution voluntarily, and Bullock sued the state to require them to let her know when he was released from the institution.

Last month Weldon showed up in a Wyoming emergency room saying he suffered from anxiety and he told the hospital staff that he drove all the way from Tennessee hoping to meet Bullock in her Jackson Hole home.

While it is not known exactly when Weldon was released from the mental institution in Tennessee, an August 6 hearing has been scheduled for a three-year order against him.

Ryan Seacrest Stalker Off To Prison

Never fear Ryan Seacrest, your 26-year-old stalker is going to be behind bars, reports TMZ. Today, after pleading no contest to felony stalking back in March, stalker Chidi Uzomah was sentenced to two years in prison.

But where did this all start?

Well, back in September. Chidi went after Seacrest outside of an Orange County hospital armed with a knife.

Following this crazy event, Chidi showed up at the E! building where Seacrest shoots his daily TV show. But this was no warm welcoming. This was a month later in violation of a restraining order. And Chidi was armed with a knife again.

So, in addition to the two year sentence, the judge ordered Chidi to stay away from Seacrest for 10 years. Also, the judge ordered Chidi to use plastic cutlery for the rest of his life. Just kidding, but not a bad idea.

Jon Gosselin Impersonator Is A Stalker

First off, let’s get one thing out of the way: of all people to impersonate, he chose Jon Gosselin.

Need we say more?

The Atlantic City man who has been impersonating reality TV star Jon Gosselin is reportedly a stalker, according to an “insider” quoted by Perez Hilton. The impersonator also apparently believes he actually is Gosselin.

He has been reported to police to have stalked several women.

Hilton’s insider had these things to say:

“I’ve reported this guy to the police. He has been stalking certain girls and it’s got to stop.

“I’m scared he’s going to do something bad. I mean, this guy obviously isn’t in his right mind. He looks nothing like Jon Gosselin, apart from the Ed Hardy T-shirts he wears, yet he insists that’s who he is. I think he’s even a different race.

“I know of one girl who he has sent literally thousands of text messages to. They all come through from ‘Jon Gosselin’ and they are all begging her to go out with him.

“He says crazy things like, ‘I know I have 8 kids but I have money and a lot of love to give’. This guy is seriously, seriously unbalanced.”

The insider also said that the Gosselin impersonator claims to be good friends with Hulk Hogan, and has apparently been showing off messages on his phone that he says are from Hogan.

The impersonator is also rumoured to have a lot of money – something which the real Jon Gosselin apparently does not.

Hilton’s insider continued:

“I think he must have money because he was offering up box seats when the Super Bowl was on, and said to girls he would pick them up in his limo. He also claims to have a private jet, whether that’s true or not I don’t know.

“The funny thing is that from what I know the real Jon Gosselin hasn’t got much money at all, so I don’t know why the fake one is pretending he does.

“There’s one rumor that’s going around that this guy is actually a dentist from New York City. I would just like to get to the bottom of it and find out who on earth he really is.”

Erin Andrews Stalker Faces 30 Months in Prison

ESPN reporter, Erin Andrews, helped to send her stalker to prison, reports E! online.

Michael David Barret, the stalker, was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison. Barret, a 48-year-old insurance executive, pleaded guilty in December for one count of interstate stalking.

Previously, on three occasions, Barret had got adjoining rooms in hotels, to that of Andrews. Then, he would drill a peephole into the door and take videos. Barret was caught after he tried to sell his camerawork online.

Barret claimed how sorry he was for committing the actions. But Andrews has no desire to forgive this man. She calls him a “sexual predator.”

“… I’m glad he can be away from anyone he can harm. But now I would like a longer sentence,” Andrews said. “His apology isn’t good enough. It doesn’t take down the video off the internet.”

Audrina Patridge Stalker Comes Back and Gets Arrested

It’s true what the celebrities say: it’s not always easy being a star, and “The Hills” star Audrina Patridge is living proof of that. TMZ reports that the bombshell is having stalking issues – again.

Last year Patridge got a permanent restraining order against Zachary Loring, and this morning he allegedly showed up to her Los Angeles home banging on the door and ringing the doorbell. Law enforcement told TMZ that someone inside of Patridge’s home called 911, and the star was in her home at the time of the disturbing behaviour.

Cops showed up and arrested the trespasser who was then booked for felony stalking and misdemeanor vandalism.

The incidents started in August when the 24-year-old TV star claimed that a stranger showed up on her front porch and handed her a stack of postcards, poems and drawings. Creepily, there was a photo of a woman being strangled and some of the postcards were postdated for three weeks later. The star was afraid he was planning to harm her on that date. Loring showed up three more times in a matter of a few days and brought her beer in which he wanted to “see her drink” and waited outside of her house for 7 hours while talking to himself. The last time, he showed up wearing a suit and a red tie, and Patridge called the cops. Loring was then released on bail a few days after and got the restraining order against him. He didn’t seem to follow that, so now the creep is in custody and being held on $160,000 bail.

Kim Kardashian Seeks Restraining Order for Stalker

Who knew that Kim Kardashian was so popular? The reality TV star is filing a restraining order through the LAPD after mega-fan Dennis Shaun Bowman’s love for the celeb got way out of hand.

Bowman’s love affair for Kardashian began last fall when the Georgia man professed his adoration for the big-bootied celebutante via Twitter messages. A few months later, Bowman moved to Kim’s hometown of Calabasas, Cali. to be closer to the star.

But it gets worse. After moving to California, Bowman sent threats to Reggie Bush, Kardashian’s NFL boyfriend, challenging the burly running back to a fight. It wasn’t until Kim’s stalker began painting his face like the Joker from Dark Knight and randomly meeting her throughout the day that Kardashian finally decided that Bowman was more than a raving fan.

“Mr. Bowman sends me numerous messages each day telling me, for example, that we are in love, that we will go to dinner together, and that he is going to marry me,” said Kardashian in a court filing.

With the restraining order, Bowman will have to stay at least 500 yards from the celebrity, and will be restricted from contacting her. The question remains: why would anyone want to stalk Kim Kardashian?

Ryan Seacrest Gets Restraining Order Against Stalker Chidi Uzoma

Ryan Seacrest was granted a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker, reports TMZ. Chidi Uzomah, who was arrested Friday at the E! building, must remain 100 yards from Seacrest and may not contact the American Idol host or go near his home, work or vehicle.

Uzomah, who was convicted of three misdemeanors last month after attacking Seacrest’s bodyguard at an Orange County hospital, is being held in jail on charges of felony stalking.

He showed up at the E! building in Los Angeles with a knife in his pocket – not the first time he has gone to Seacrest’s place of work with a weapon. Earlier this month, he was looking for him at a Burbank, CA radio station. He also had a knife in his pocket when the incident with the bodyguard occurred.

One of the terms of his probation for pleading guilty to the three earlier misdemeanors was to stay away from Seacrest.

Man Arrested for Peeping ESPN Reporter Erin Andrews

Michael David Barrett, 48, was arrested in connection with a peeping tom case involving ESPN reporter Erin Andrews. Barrett was arrested at Chicago O’Hare International Airport for allegedly videotaping the reporter walking around naked in a number of hotel rooms without her knowledge, reports TMZ.

Barrett allegedly stalked Andrews “with the intent to harass, to place under surveillance with intent to harass and intimidate, and to cause substantial emotional distress to a person in another state,” the FBI reported.

At least six different tapes shot with a peephole camera of Andrews walking around nude in hotel rooms surfaced in July.

Andrews’s lawyer, Marshall Grossman, says Barrett contacted hotels to gain information he used to locate the reporter and her hotel room. He would then remove the peepholes from the doors of the rooms and insert a camera.

The complaint says Andrews was “having trouble breathing and felt sick all of the time,” due to the stress caused by the tapes. “She was concerned there might be more video and wanted to vomit just thinking about it.”
