Funny-man Eddie Murphy has split from Melanie B, a.k.a. Scary Spice, after a six-month courtship.

Murphy admitted the break-up during an interview on the Dutch show RTL Boulevard while promoting his upcoming flick, “Dreamgirls”.

The Beverly Hills Cops and Dr. Doolittle star also said that he wants a paternity test from Mel. B’s unborn child.

“You’re being presumptuous, because we’re not together any more and we don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test,” Murphy said while interviewed.

“You shouldn’t jump to conclusions, sir,” he added.

Mel B. is reportedly five months pregnant.
She already has a seven-year-old daughter, from her previous marriage to dancer Jimmy Gulzar.
