Just in time for Pauly D’s new spinoff reality show comes his new single “Night of My Life.” How convenient for marketing purposes, right? The song makes you want to watch the show and the show makes you want to listen to the song. It’s an endless and inescapable cycle.
The song, which features Dash, is the theme song for the spinoff. The song is actually pretty danceable and upbeat, aka it’s not as bad as I thought it was going to be.
MTV’s The Pauly D Project chronicles his rise from Jersey Shore GTL/DTF housemate to world class DJ. 50 Cent signed him to his music label and he’s opening for a couple shows on Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale Tour. The show is filled with Vegas-style partying, unnecessary shit-disturbing by Pauly and endless bro-drama.
Listen to it here:

The Daily Mail took a mundane photo of Snooki and filled in the blanks for us so we can enjoy a legit news story. Snooki had a hankering for a hot dog so she picked one up at a meat vendor in Jersey City proving that — wait for it — she has pregnancy cravings! Yea, that’s it. That’s the entire story.
The reality star noshed on the hot dog before changing into a fancier outfit to film her spinoff show with JWoww. The two ladies walked their poor spoiled purple and pink dogs.
The reality star announced her pregnancy two weeks ago and just signed on for a new season of Jersey Shore. We’ll avidly watch to affirm whether she does indeed have a hot dog craving… though I was personally betting on grilled pickles.

The “Jersey Shore” spinoffs continue. As we reported earlier, Pauly D has been given an MTV spinoff, and now its confirmed JWOWW and Snooki have a deal.
Examiner.com reports the show starts filming this month. The show’s executive producer, SallyAnn Salsano calls the new show about Snooki and JWoWW ‘hysterical’ with a ‘Laverne & Shirley‘ feel. “We just want to branch off on our own and we want to do our own thing and we’re excited about it so I’m excited to show all the fans how we are without the shore,” Snooki is quoted as saying.
The show is expected to debut sometime in 2012. We feel another “Simple Life” coming. Remember Paris Hilton’s and Nicole Richie’s reality show?
Hollywoodlife.com is reporting “Jersey Shore’s” Pauly D is getting his own MTV spinoff. The show has finished filming, and will begin airing very soon.
“The show is done being filmed,” a source says. “Pauly is really excited for the spinoff — he wants to be a part of the Jersey Shore franchise until he’s a senior citizen.”
We are happy that Pauly D has a spinoff. Of all the cast members of “Jersey Shore,” he is definitely the most likable and genuine. However, it’s only a matter of time until Snooki gets her own show too.
What spinoff would be more interesting? A Pauly D spinoff or a Snooki spinoff?

Sponsored by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, (LVCVA) the New Global Epicenter for Superstar DJs and industry heavyweights are teaming together to create the ultimate DJ competition; the first annual Vegas Spin Off. Starting on July 25, hopefuls can head over to www.facebook.com/lasvegas and upload and share their original tracks with fellow aspiring DJs. Glee has been a huge hit for FOX, so it’s rational that they would want to keep capitalizing on the show. However, how do you keep the characters relevant to the show after they are too old for highschool? You make a spinoff.
Show creator Ryan Murphy has expressed interest in following the characters after they graduate. Ryan had a concept which would involve Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith, but all the actors claim that they aren’t leaving the show after season three.
“In March, [executive producer] Brad Falchuk and I started talking to all three of those actors about it because you can’t make people do spinoffs,” Ryan explained. “At the time, all three of them expressed interest,” he told DeadlineHollywood.
Then on July 13 it was announced that the three cast members would be graduating. Ryan went on the defense.
“For any of those actors to say, ‘I found out that I was fired off the show from Twitter,’ is absolutely 100% not true,” Ryan told Deadline. “We were going to do a spin-off where the three of them were going to go on. They all knew what was happening, they all had approved it, they all said they wanted to do it.”
Right now the show spinoff is up in the air, but Ryan suggested the concept would follow these characters to New York City as they attend Julliard.
Do you think a spinoff would work? Or should we just let them graduate and forget about them?
We love Leon on Curb Your Enthusiasm, but is he worthy of a spinoff? Well there are suggestions of that on the Twittersvere.
Coincidentally, TMZ caught up with JB Smoove who plays Leon on Curb. Not surprisingly JB is in favor of the idea. He was also asked if Leon’s character is based on JB. JB replied that he wasn’t worthy to carry Leon’s jockstrap.
As far as suggested names for Leon’s show? JB suggested “The Ruccus” or “That’s How We Dooze It.”
In the spirit of Leon, below are some of our favorite Leon clips.
After “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” brought in a hefty $35 million on opening night alone and a worldwide gross of $158.2 million (and counting), 20th Century Fox has announced a spinoff movie featuring Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds as Marvel Comics’ Deadpool, according to E! Online.
Reynolds will star once again as Wade Wilson, a mercenary who is cured from cancer after going through the Genetic X mutation that also affected Wolverine.
Canadian Shenae Grimes will soon be getting a new postal code. Specifically, “90210.”
According to TV Guide’s Ausiello report, the “Degrassi: The Next Generation” star has just signed on for a role on the new “Beverly Hills, 90210″ spin-off.
The role was originally offered to Hilary Duff.
Ausiello describes Grimes’ character as “Annie Mills, a theater-loving teen who relocates to Beverly Hills from Kansas with her adoptive bro and their parents.”
Television’s favourite paper company may be setting up shop in a spinoff.
According to Ask Ausiello, NBC is developing the show, which would not include any of the original show’s characters. Instead, taking a cue from “Private Practice,” new characters would be introduced on the original comedy before heading off to their own show.
Producers are looking for a big name celebrity to star.
Spinoffs are usually forwned upon by the public, but skeptics should remember how successful the American adaptation of “The Office” has become, despite the idea being greatly opposed at first by UK “Office” viewers.
