Former SPICE GIRL MELANIE BROWN has been lined up to star in the next series of U.S. TV show DANCING WITH THE STARS.
The singer, who is currently locked in a paternity battle with actor Eddie Murphy over eight-week-old daughter Angel, will take to the dancefloor next year.
A spokesperson for Brown says, “Eddie hasn’t been in contact yet, but Mel’s been busy with the U.S. version of Strictly Come Dancing and her daughters.”

British pop band the SPICE GIRLS have been accused of only being interested in a reunion “for the money,” after reportedly demanding nearly US$2 million per show, according to British newspaper The Sunday Express.
The WANNABE stars, who split in 2000, are said to be in talks for a TAKE THAT-style comeback tour, but promoters are weary of backing the shows because they fear they will never be able to recoup the costs of staging the concerts.
A source says, “The difference is that Take That weren’t just in it for the money. They worked hard, wrote a new album and made their show a great spectacle.
“No one is convinced that the Spice Girls can still do that.
“The money they want will leave nothing for the promoters. Nobody wants to take them on.”

VICTORIA BECKHAM was furious with photographers who ruined her trip to Disneyland by swarming her and her two sons during a family day out.
The former SPICE GIRL has said her young sons were excited to be moving to Los Angeles so they could be closer to Disneyland.
Beckham and her two oldest sons, BROOKLYN and ROMEO, were completely overrun by photographers on Friday while they were trying to tour the world-famous theme park.
The photographers, including one with festive TIGGER ears, made it nearly impossible for Beckham to walk through the park with her children.
The media crush infuriated Beckham who lashed out at one snapper yelling, “Stop that! Can you not take a picture?”
According to entertainment website TMZ.com, a friend had to hold Beckham back from becoming physical with the paparazzo.

The three members of the WANNABE hitmakers were spotted at London’s posh restaurant Nobu without MELANIE CHISHOLM and MELANIE BROWN – but the group are rumoured to be following TAKE THAT’s footsteps last year and embark on a musical comeback.
Earlier that day, Bunton spoke of her hopes for a possible reunion on British chat show RICHARD AND JUDY, saying, “Personally I’d love to. Even the other girls have said they’d like to do it. It would be amazing. It would be great.”

Former SPICE GIRL EMMA BUNTON is preparing for motherhood by caring for a new puppy.
The 31-year-old announced she was pregnant last month, and her boyfriend JADE JONES has bought her a chocolate Labrador puppy so she can develop her mothering skills.
She reveals, “I named her Phoebe – from FRIENDS, of course – and she’s gorgeous. As I’m going to be spending a bit more time at home later this year, we thought now would be a good time to get a dog. I guess it’s a good trial run for the baby.”
