According to E! News, Federline surprised Jackson inside the VIP room of Blush Boutique nightclub at the Wynn.
The mother of two of Federline’s children was celebrating her 32nd birthday.
“A crowd came to see what all the commotion was and they found Shar and Kevin sharing some public affection,” an eyewitness reports. “Kevin showed up to wish her a happy birthday. They shared a very public embrace and kiss before Kevin left.”
However ex Mr. Spears and Jackson were not rekindling a romance.
“We were friends before we were a couple and we’re always going to be friends,” Jackson said. “We have two amazing kids together. Kevin is my boy.”
Britney Spears’ father will continue to have control over the pop star’s conservatorship until 2009.
Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz will continue to allow Jaime Spears’ conservatorship over his daughter for the remainder of the year, reports E! News.
“Regarding the conservatorship of the person, I understand that Ms. Spears is reluctantly agreeing to extend those letters,” Goetz said. “We are extending them until Dec. 31, 2008.”
However, Goetz did have some good news for the singer.
“The order is without prejudice and is subject to early termination.”
The pop star was placed in her father’s care back in February. Since Jaime Spears has been given control of his daughter’s estate, Britney has enjoyed a string of personal successes—including extended access to her sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 17 months.

She says, “Not because I don’t like (Spears) – I do think she’s crazy enough to do one of my songs. But it’s very hard for me to let go of my songs and the only people I write for are real singers – not that she’s not a real singer, but she’s more of an entertainer.
“When I mean real singers, I mean the likes of Lauryn Hill, Faith Hill – and I’d write for Amy Winehouse, because you need serious attitude to carry off the dumb stuff I write about.”

BRITNEY SPEARS’ mother LYNNE is hopeful the pair will reconcile soon – and insists “everything is going to be fine” between the pair.

Despite the troubles between mother and daughter, Lynne says, “Everything is going to be fine. I’ve got a strong family, and everything is going to be fine.”
Meanwhile, Spears told reporters outside Los Angeles sushi house Unico on Sunday, “I’m praying for her right now. (I hope) she gets all the help she needs.”
When asked if the pair could overcome their problems, Britney added, “In time, who knows what will happen.”

BRITNEY SPEARS has been dealt a new blow as she hopes for a pop comeback – her new material won’t see the light of day until 2008.
The pop superstar was hoping to release a new album later this year, but her publicist has confirmed all album plans have been shelved.
Spears’ representative, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, tells America’s Life & Style magazine, “I put her on hiatus. Brit’s album is pushed until ’08.”
But a source close to Spears’ camp insists executives at her record label, Jive, fear the Toxic singer’s pop career is over, judging by her latest efforts.
The insider tells the publication, “I’m surprised the album wasn’t pushed back to 2009. Everything’s up in the air with the album right now.”

T-Pain had written two songs for the next album to be released by Britney Spears. Problem is, he says, he has no idea when it will ever be released.
“It depends when she gets her shit together,” he says with a laugh, speaking to andPOP.
One of the tracks, Code of Fire, would be the possible first single, he says.
T-Pain, who released his second album, Epiphany, last week, also wrote five songs recently for Usher, two of which, he says, will make the album.
He also sings two hooks on Kanye West’s next album, Graduation.
“He got in contact with me actually,” T-Pain says. “He said he needed T-Pain on a couple songs.”
On top of all that, T-Pain has found time to write two tracks for Charlie Wilson (The Gap Band), two for Chris Brown and two for Chilli, the former member of TLC.
“She’s in between contracts right now so whenever she gets those contracts together and brings that album out, who knows?”

Writing on her website, Spears says, “Recently, I was sent to a very humbling place called rehab. I truly hit rock bottom. ‘Till this day I don’t think that it was alcohol or depression. I was like a bad kid running around with ADD.
“I had a manager from a long time ago come in and try to direct me and my life after I got my divorce. I was so overwhelmed I think that I was in a little shock too. I didn’t know who to go to.
“I realized how much energy and love I had put into my past relationship when it was gone because I genuinely did not know what to do with myself, and it made me so sad. I confess, I was so lost.
“This letter is to not place blame on anyone, although I do see the world with a completely different set of eyes now.
“I know everyone thinks that I am playing the victim, but I am not and I hate what is going on right now so much. Maybe this is the reason for this letter… to maybe allow people to look at me differently.”

BRITNEY SPEARS has got fans guessing about when she’ll make her big comeback performance after reportedly pulling the plug on a show in Los Angeles late on Wednesday night.
The Toxic singer was expected to take the stage with her band the M & Ms at hip Los Angeles club Forty Deuce, where she swapped costumes with dancers in December, but failed to show.

BRITNEY SPEARS and KEVIN FEDERLINE reached an amicable divorce settlement yesterday, including a custody agreement over their two young sons.
The estranged couple spent five hours at the Los Angeles offices of the TOXIC star’s lawyer LAURA WASSER along with Federline’s attorney MARK VINCENT KAPLAN.
MICHAEL SANDS, spokesman for Federline’s lawyer, says, “The parties signed a global settlement on all issues of their marriage and the custody of the children.”
The terms of the agreement were not revealed, but a Los Angeles judge still has to approve the documents.
Spears, 25, filed for divorce on 7 November – just two months after giving birth to their youngest child JAYDEN JAMES – citing “irreconcilable differences.”
In the divorce papers, Spears was seeking legal and physical custody of Jayden James and SEAN PRESTON, 18 months, while former dancer Federline, 29, also asked for custody of the children, as well as requesting spousal support.
The couple wed in October 2004 after a whirlwind six month romance.
The divorce agreement comes nine days after Spears checked out of Promises Rehab Centre in Malibu, California for a month-long treatment for unspecified problems.

BRITNEY SPEARS has left rehab after completing a four-week program at a Malibu, California treatment centre and has pleaded with the world’s media to respect her privacy.
The troubled pop star – who checked into the Promises rehabilitation center last month – was being treated for substance abuse, but it is unclear exactly when the 25-year-old left the facility.
Spears first checked into ERIC CLAPTON’s Crossroads treatment centre in Antigua on February 14, but left the following day. She checked into Promises on February 19, before leaving the next day, and then re-checked herself in on February 21.
The TOXIC singer’s treatment came after months of hard-partying following her split from husband KEVIN FEDERLINE in November. Days before she checked into Promises, Spears stunned fans by shaving her head and getting a tattoo of a pair of lips on her wrist.
In a statement issued late on Tuesday, Spear’s manager LARRY RUDOLPH confirmed her exit from rehab and asked for the press to keep their distance while she settles back into life at home with her two babies SEAN PRESTON and JAYDEN JAMES.
He says, “(She) has been released by the Promises Malibu Treatment Centre after successfully completing their program.
“We ask that the media respects her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time.”

A surveillance tape reportedly showing troubled pop star BRITNEY SPEARS getting intimate with two female dancers at a New York club has become the latest hot property for internet porn companies.
The TOXIC singer changed into fishnet stockings and a bikini while partying with dancers at nightclub One on February 12 – and things allegedly got steamy with the threesome.
When a manager at the club discovered damaging video footage of the incident, the dancers were subsequently sacked.
A source tells the New York Daily News, “The manager said there was a tape of them. Both girls cried about it when they got fired, but they didn’t deny it.”
Adds another source, “If that thing gets on the internet, there’s going to be big trouble.”
