Ubisoft announced in a press release Thursday the launch of the Far Cry 2 space in PlayStation Home’s closed beta in North America and Europe. Far Cry 2 will be the first third-party video game environment for the PlayStation Home, a 3D social gaming community where PlayStation 3 users can meet and plan to launch games together. Users are able to create their custom character, decorate their virtual apartments, play mini-games and attend special events, among other activities.

The Far Cry 2 space in PlayStation Home will allow users to gather information about the game, learn about various strategic elements, and play mini-games related to the title.
