Charlie Sheen appeared on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight, his first interview since “Two and a Half Men” shut down production this evening. Although Sheen claimed to be sober (he even brought a recent drug test as proof), there is no question Charlie wasn’t all there.

Piers asked him about if he had any regrets. “There’s a couple things I wish I hadn’t started,” said Sheen. “One of them is smoking cigarettes.”

And he summed it up: “I’m still alive, which is pretty cool.”

Crazy Charlie Sheen is totally not crazy, he swears!

The Two and a Half Men star, in a bid to restore his name and stun the nonbelievers, has produced the results of an at-home drug test….and the results are negative!

That’s right, Charlie Sheen was apparently COMPLETELY SOBER during his controversial self-appointed “press tour” in which he smack talked his boss Chuck Lorre, the writers of his show, and inexplicably founding father Thomas Jefferson.

Staffers at Radar Online administered the urine test and confirmed negative results across the board.

Sheen has been challenged to take a more extensive blood test by some, a task that he has embraced and undertaken. The results aren’t out yet, but it seems unlikely that it’ll come back positive as the first check test is 99% effective.

So that was pure, untainted Sheen? That’s almost worse than discovering he was high! Yikes. At the very least the man needs an ego adjustment BIG TIME.

When Nicole Richie is telling you to clean yourself up and get your life in order, that means you have really hit rock bottom.

Richie, who is no stranger to rehab and a “good time,” made some comments about Sheen while co-hosting “The View.”

“I don’t think he should make it somebody else’s responsibility to keep him sober,” Richie, who has been arrested three times and went to rehab once for substance abuse, said.

“If he wants [his sobriety] to last for a long time, it’s up to him,” Richie said on the talk show. “He’s an adult and he needs to take responsibility for his actions.”

Charlie, clean up! Nicole Richie thinks you are a mess. This is the same girl that thought “The Simple Life” was a ground breaking show.

According to Perezhilton.com this is Lindsay Lohan’s 100th day of sobriety. So, it has been 100 days since Lohan had a drink or took a hit from that crack pipe. No spiked eggnog or spiced rum for Lohan this holiday season. 100 days of sobriety is like an early Christmas present though. The world is proud.

Apparently, the actress/singer is making such good progress at Betty Ford, she is allowed to take day trips, work, and even drive.

Well, good for her. We should be glad that rehab actually DOES work for people. Lohan has a pretty bad track record but maybe the inspirational Betty Ford clinic will keep her from relapsing. Come on Lindsay, let’s go for 200 days of sobriety!

Now that Lindsay Lohan is, for the time being, a free person, it’s time for her to get her life back on track.  However, some of Lohan’s friends doubt that she’ll be able to do it and think that she may go down another dark road soon.

“Lindsay says she’s determined to stay sober and focus on work,” a source close to Lohan tells People.com.  “[But] it’s too soon to tell what will happen. We’ve seen these moments of ‘purity’ before, but as soon as she gets a taste of the nightlife and the drama, she usually falls back into old habits fast.”

Lohan spent a night out in L.A. after being released and was seen with an energy drink close by—the question is:  How long will it remain an energy drink?

Until her November 1^st hearing, Lohan has to stick to staying clean, going to psychotherapy, and also receiving addiction counselling.  Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, says that his client is determined to turn her life around.

“She is serious about her sobriety,” Holley told the judge on Tuesday, continuing, “This is a new beginning for Lindsay Lohan.”

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if Lindsay can sort out her problems and stay clean.

Normally we would think the prospect of falling into hundreds of needles would be something exciting for Lindsay Lohan. Yet again she has failed to demonstrate her ability to function without the aid of a 40 pounder of Vodka and Pablo Escobar’s private collection. What’s the point of quitting drinking, snorting and Sam Ronson if you’re still a hazard?

We’re not questioning her sobriety, but perhaps, her competency. That, or she would rather walk through a cactus than have her picture taken. Or perhaps she was harvesting it in an attempt to make her own peyote? No, she must have been missing the feeling of her ex-girlfriend’s prickly legs. Either way, not even a plant that can live in solitude for months without  a drip of water wanted any interaction with Lindsay.

Users around the globe are being swarmed with fake emails again as a new variant of the Sober worm is beginning to make its rounds.

Using enticing subject and body content by making references to the 2006 World Cup, the worm includes an infected attachment, hoping the user will open it thinking it is a legitimate email.

“Many people will be eager to attend one of the biggest sporting events in the world next year, and may think its worth the risk of opening the email attachment just in case the prize is for real. Computer users who don’t practise safe computing will feel as sick as a parrot, and will only be passing this worm onto other unsuspecting victims,” says Graham Cluely, senior technology consultant at Sophos.
