Did you feel that shift in the wind this today? That was when we got the confession apology letter from Kristen Stewart, dedicated to everyone she upset after cheating on Robert Pattinson with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. That subtle but visible change in temperature was due to all the Twihards losing their FREAKING MINDS.
And now it’s starting.
This will be our life for the next couple days — nay weeks — people. Reaction videos, top ten lists about why Kristen sucks or rocks and parodies about her awkwardness (which I happen to love). Experts will theorize about how they saw it coming through the couple’s stiff body language, cursive handwriting and “telling” facial expression. This is the state of pop culture people…
Through all the media cacophony there’s at least one reasonable voice. Okay, it’s not really reasonable at all. In fact, this video from nuttymadam3575 is just a sampling of the reaction videos to come. We’d just like to remind everyone that Kristen Stewart is in fact a different person than Bella Swan and that Robert Pattinson is not ACTUALLY Edward Cullen. Kay, glad we sorted that out.
The thing that bothers me most about this whole “OMG Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson” scandal isn’t that we’re so feeble that we crumble whenever the shiny veneer of Hollywood demi-gods fades (because it seems like we do), it’s that our teeth come out and we judge judge judge.
Pretty much everyone knows by now through Twitter, Facebook, blogs or just a friend calling them up to bare teeth that 22-year-old K-Stew had an intimate relationship with 41-year-old Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
At first it was gleefully trilled by Hollywood rags with photo evidence but then we got confirmation from Stewart herself, who went straight into public apology mode: ”I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” she said in a statement to People. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
Sanders, who is married to model-actress Liberty Ross, later issued an apology too: ”I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family.” He also said: ”My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”
According to Perez Hilton, Ross, who appeared as Stewart’s mother in the movie, allegedly posted this photo on Instagram and later disabled her Twitter.

And so far, no word from RPatz camp.
It seems that never so closely is a career and social life tied up than in Hollywood. The Twitterverse is alight with people behind computer screens slaying her. And yes, it was wrong but don’t forget that Sanders is the 41-year-old here with a wife and children. Both are at fault.
While some of the tweets are pretty harsh, other are more perceptive.
Tell us: what do you think about the Stewart/Sanders affair? More importantly, do you think everyone gets too involved?

Kristen Stewart looks GORG on the July cover of Vanity Fair. She’s one of the more awkward members of Young Hollywood but jeez, guys, she’s just a regular person and I definitely appreciate that she doesn’t fit the archetype. Give her a break.
K-Stew got to chill with Karl Lagerfeld AND photographer Mario Testino at the shoot in Paris like it’s no big deal. ”It was the first time I ever had an actual conversation with him. He’s incredibly sweet. It felt like such an important moment in my life,” she said about meeting Lagerfeld. “It was very cool.”
Some of the couture looks are jaw-droppingly beautiful though I’d be afraid to walk around, lest it get a scuff mark.
Stewart, who’s currently starring in Snow White and the Huntsman also revealed to VF how she was a total tomboy when she was younger.
“Look at a picture of me before I was 15. I am a boy,” Stewart said. “I wore my brother’s clothes, dude! Not like I cared that much, but I remember being made fun of because I wasn’t wearing Juicy jeans.”

“Breath of Life,” Florence and the Machine
The upcoming blockbuster Snow White and the Huntsman is set to be released on June 1, and who better to create the lead single for the epic tale than cinematic songstress Florence Welch and her Machine? “Breath of Life” is possibly one of Welch’s most dramatic songs to date, with pounding drums, and a 60-person choir backing Welch’s intense voice. The video for the single shows Welch recording the track in London’s Abbey Road Studios, 60-person choir included, with vivid scenes from the film woven through the recording session. The video looks like an impressive trailer for the Snow White re-interpretation, and I will definitely be forking over 10 dollars or more at the movie theatre to watch it. You can hear “Breath of Life” on the film’s soundtrack, which will be available May 29.
“Part 5: Su-Barbie-a,” Marina and the Diamonds
A few days ago, Marina Diamandis uploaded this gem onto the Marina and the Diamonds YouTube channel. It’s Part 5 of her online video anthology, which exposes the four female archetypes that her new album Electra Heart is based on. The video is a two-minute flurry of various audio clips from old Hollywood films and Barbie doll advertisements all playing over the instrumental track from her song “Valley of the Dolls.” It also features Diamandis in a creepy Stepford-esque outfit standing in front of a perfect house, with her face engulfed in shadows. The next video to be released will be “Part 6: Power and Control.”

Another reason to love Kristen Stewart: she says “screw you” to uncomfortable heels and wears worn out Nike trainers with her obligatory high fashion gowns instead. I know, somewhere a fashion editor is writhing on the ground asking “why?” but who cares? Girl rocked the dress anyway.
K-Stew wore a lacy black Marchesa gown to the premiere for her new film Snow White and the Huntsman, which also stars Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron. She managed to sneak behind a bush to change the sneakers for something more glamorous before the red carpet, but she was busted by photogs. On her way out of the premiere, she quickly changed to jeans and leather jacket for the after party.

1) The new trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman looks decidedly darker than Julia Roberts’ Mirror Mirror. Both are adaptations of the original Brothers Grimm fairytale but take a very different approach.
2) Charlize Theron takes the role of the evil queen and lives up to her “bitch” reputation. She recently joked that just like how Picasso went through his blue period, this is her “bitch period.”
3) The movie also stars Kristen Stewart as a badass Snow White. She seems more like a warrior than a doe-eyed Disney songbird.
4) The movie also features monsters and frightening demons. It’s more grown up than the cheery Mirror Mirror.
5) We get a quick glimpse of Sam Claflin (Prince William) planting a sloppy wet kiss on Snow. But Chris Hemsworth, who plays the Huntsman, is still our eye candy.
