Sling Media Inc. announced last week that the SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry will be available for download as part of a public beta beginning December 30. SlingPlayer Mobile software allows users to watch TV and programming via their handheld device. The BlackBerry Bold 9000, Curve 8900, 8820 and Pearl Flip 8220 will be compatible with the software, as well as other models of the smartphones.
