This is a reason why dads are super awesome.
Helping his son Logan with cerebral palsy get the same adrenaline rush skateboarders get at the park, this father makes his boy’s dream come true by pushing his wheelchair around while emulating all the cool spins and wicked tricks.
My faith in humanity has officially been restored.
Lil’ Wayne is expanding his empire with a skateboard clothing line. He will debut his Trukfit apparel line at the Agenda trade show in Long Beach, California. Wayne is passionate about skateboarding and street culture, so this should be a fit.
“Lil Wayne has long been recognized as a music and pop culture icon,” said Trukfit representative Sarah Cunningham. “He has developed a unique style — both sonically and visually — and extending his brand and vision into apparel was a natural progression. As Lil Wayne is passionate about skateboarding, it only made sense for him to infuse that passion into Trukfit.”
Sarah also says that Wayne is so serious about skateboarding that he often rides at the local park after getting done with a show.
Lil Wayne paid a visit to the hospital last night after a skateboarding accident in St. Louis.
Wayne needed 9 stitches after crashing hard off a skateboard. He had a major cut over his left eye, and one witness told a local TV station the rapper was accompanied by several members of his entourage. According to the hospital, Wayne was treated and released.
He seems to be in good shape, tweeting he got a ”gnarly gash.”

Get ready for Tony Hawk: RIDE, the newest and freshest skateboarding game we’ve seen in some time. It’s hitting the shelves in November, and will be debuting an innovative controller that is nothing less than a skateboard simulator. It looks like a snowboard, although I wouldn’t recommend taking that simile to any extreme.
So for all you skaters who will be packing away the legit boards in November, you may want to think about swapping them in for these. Except, for RIDE. Not for snowboarding. Ever.
November 17th, get ready.
Cheers.
