Graffiti6 is starting to make their North American invasion, and they are hitting up the Tonight Show. Does this sound familiar? Well the Beatles made the exact same journey over 40 years ago. Naturally, @jordans_life had to make some comparisons.
Nick plays World of Warcraft. Not only that, he’s the head of his guild, demonstrating that it IS possible to juggle being a hardcore gamer with being a top-selling recording artist.
During a LIVE interview on andPOP.com Nick Carter gave out a number and took phone calls from his fans. These were real phone calls from real fans who we gave exclusive access to one of the biggest recording artists of our generation.
There were great questions about music, fitness, the backstreet boys but the most popular question, however, was about his underwear. In this clip Nick talks about his his ‘Haynes’ and covering his fans with glow in the dark paint.
When releasing new music today, half the battle is online promotion. However, contests, signed merch and giveaways aren’t always the best solutions. When working on their latest album, Hedley came up with a brilliant idea, they decided to make trailers.
It’s hard to prepare for an interview with Hedley. So in this interview, we threw caution to the wind, got a 24 of beer and broadcast the interview live on our USTREAM (andPOP.tv). Eventually Jacob, Dave and @jordans_life ended up talking about hairy legs, their newest music video and more.
Diamandis from Marina and The Diamonds talks to us about her very serious disease. It’s called synaesthetic. And we lied, it’s not a disease. More like a cool condition. Diamandis explains further.
Would you be embarrassed if someone scrolled through your iPod? We sit down with Spee and Brendan to talk about the diverse music on their playlist.
Marina and The Diamonds are working on some new music, but Marina is being very secretive about it. Although the release has been delayed, she let’s us in on some secrets about the new album, and how alcohol changed her life.

Taylor Lautner is back on the market! Us Weekly is reporting he has broken up with Lily Collins.
“It was a clean break that Taylor initiated,” the source told Us.
The couple met on the set of Abduction. However, the pair never officially confirmed their relationship.
Demi Lovato has Tweeted that she is single and the gossip websites should stop spreading false rumors.
Rumors are circulating that she was dating Ryan Phillippe, but she claims that is untrue. Lovato Tweeted,
“Ladies and gentlement (sic), and also BLOG SITES – I. AM. SINGLE. I’m not dating anyone. I’m loving my independence right now.”
Do you think that’s true? Or is she really seeing someone?
Heartthrob James Franco is single again after breaking up with his girlfriend Ahna O’Reilly.
Franco told Playboy in their August 2011 issue that his strenuous schedule and distance was the reason for the break up.
“It’s over… We’d been living together in L.A. and then came to New York to go school for two years. Then I signed up for more school at Yale. I think that was it for her.”
That’s a sad situation. The only reason why the couple broke up was because of his love of education. Well if there are any female academics near Yale, this might be your lucky day.
Rebecca Black has finally released her music video for “My Moment.” Our response? This moment has lasted too long.
The idea for the song is this is her “moment” (her 15 minutes of fame). The song is cheesy and the music video matches the song. Although the video is step up from her previous effort as far as quality, the whole effort is an insult to credible artists around the world.
If this is her strategy to become a legitimate pop star, we think she may have some major obstacles. But as far as a pop culture experiment and providing the world a great laugh, Rebecca nobody is better than you.
Enjoy your extended 15 minutes of fame!
Charlie Sheen is back on the market – and it is arguable if he was ever really off it. Charlie’s last goddess, Natalie Kenly, has moved out of Charlie’s house, reports TMZ.
However it wasn’t a clean breakup unfortunately. When Natalie announced she was moving out, Charlie demanded she return the Mercedes he bought for her.
If she doesn’t return the car, we really hope Charlie takes this case to “Judge Judy.” Wouldn’t it be awesome for Charlie to plead his case to Judy?
Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine will collaborate on a new Maroon 5 single, reports Billboard.
The two music artists, who are judges on NBC’s ‘The Voice,’ will collaborate on the track ‘Moves Like Jagger.’
The single is set to be released next week on iTunes. They also plan to perform the single on the June 21 episode of the show.
Levine said in a statement that it was “great” getting to work with Christina, while Aguilera called the collaboration a “wonderful opportunity.”
The song is described as a quintessential Maroon 5 pop song, with an upbeat tune. This isn’t the first time Levine has teamed up with a pop icon, previously jamming with Rihanna on ‘If I Never See Your Face Again.’
I’m excited, I’m sure the song is great! It will be interesting to see how Aguilera’s powerful voice mixes with Levine’s softer, serenading voice. Great publicity for ‘The Voice,’ too.
American Idol’ winner Scotty McCreery’s newest song has leaked, reports E Online.
The track, ‘Out of Summertime,’ is a relaxed country song that is rumoured be the follow-up to his current hit ‘I Love You This Big.’
McCreery won ‘Idol’ this year against Lauren Alaina, and won over judges Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.
The song is a little dull, but it’s perfect for summer and country lovers. I think it suits him perfectly.
Listen to the track below!
Lady Antebellum has set a September release date for their new album, reports Billboard.
The country group will release their highly anticipated third album, ‘Own the Night,’ on September 13.
“We’ve spent the last year, year and a half writing for it, and we’re really proud,” Charles Kelley said.
The album’s first single ‘Just a Kiss’ debuted just last month, which fans hailed a great follow-up to their original smash ‘Need You Now.’
“We’re just excited. With the first single debuting in the top 10, we never expected that, so hopefully off to a good start,” says Kelley. “You never know until it gets out there with the fans. We feel good about it, but they’ll let us know if they like it or not.”
I’m sure fans across the nation will enjoy it, Kelley. The group is really unique, so I hope they stick around for a really long time and continue making hits.
Katy Perry has released a video teaser for her upcoming single ‘Last Friday Night.’
Along with a new song, Perry is also sporting a rather new look. Geek chic? Let’s just say it’s far from her fashion-forward Elle cover.
This marks Perry’s fourth single off her latest album ‘Teenage Dream.’ The video drops June 14th.
Also, thanks to a savvy YouTube commenter, I believe one can spot Rebecca Black (Friday, Friday, Gettin’ Down On Friday) at exactly 0:15 seconds. I wonder what her part will be in this!
Check it out the craziness below!
Coldplay has released their new track, ‘Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall.’
The single can be downloaded on iTunes, and will accompany the summer tour they are beginning in Germany today.
I like the song. It’s a relaxing, summer song that still fits the band’s sound and image. It’s new, without trying too hard. I have a feeling it will be a huge hit.
The band’s latest materiel is from 2008′s ‘Vida La Vida.’
Check out the song below!
‘The Script’ is responsible for many hits we hear on the radio today, from the ever-so popular ‘Breakeven’ to the more relaxed ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved.’ They’ve written for fellow artists, including ‘American Idol’ champ Kris Allen. They’ve performed at major award shows. They’ve done it all.
I got the chance to speak with Mark Sheehan, the guitarist for the infectious Irish band, to see how they’re dealing with international success. By no means am I saying that their success is a new matter, in any sense at all, but for Sheehan it still feels that way.
“It’s pretty bizarre, because it’s like looking at the front page of your iTunes account,” says Sheehan, on attending the Billboard awards earlier this month. “The next day I’m thinking, holy shit, I was chilling out with Bono last night having a drink, what the fuck, you know?”
The band, whose music has appeared in many American television shows and award shows, has definitely begun gaining some major exposure over the past couple of years.
Because of it, the band is now popular across the globe, embarking on an across-the-globe tour they are currently still playing. And there ain’t no sign of it slowing down.
But Sheehan makes it clear that this newfound fan base does not affect their music, nor does it affect how they write and play it.
“The sort of music we do is about genuine connection,” says Sheehan. “It’s kind of cool in that respect, that we get a chance to play the sort of music for everybody to see the same, everywhere we go.”
17 year old ‘American Idol’ winner Scotty McCreery has released his single on iTunes.
The Season 10 winner of the hit singing show has released his single “I Love You This Big” along with his Season 10 compilation album, which features full-length versions of 13 tracks that he performed while competing on the show.
Runner-up Lauren Alaina’s new single “Like My Mother Does” is also available for download, on its own or part of her compilation album as well.
That was quick – but I guess people want them while they’re hot! Download the singles and let us know what you think of them. Will they be hits, or duds?
Can a record deal and single be on the way for American Idol’s Haley Reinhart?
According to the ‘Idol’ Top 3 finalist’s parents Harry and Patti, she has already recorded a single and plans to debut it on the season 10 finale this Wednesday.
Dad Harry revealed at a concert held at Haley’s alma mater Wheeling High School that the song will be used as a barometer of sorts, to “test it out and see what happens” after Wednesday’s finale.
“She likes the song she’s doing, and we hope you like it too,” Haley’s mom told an audience of several hundred gathered to support Relay For Life, adding that her “little spitfire” rejected two compositions before settling on the single.
No one in the Reinhart clan is crying over Haley’s elimination, either. “No. 3 is pretty darn good,” said Harry, pointing out that “you don’t have to be so tied to the company that way.”
All “Idol” finalists are optioned to 19 Recordings and Interscope Records, should either company wish to sign and release their music. Scott McCreery will face Lauren Alaina in the finale.
I think it’s a little soon for Reinhart to be releasing a single, if you ask me. She just got eliminated, and then a week later she has a single? Either the single will be rushed and not very good, or it’ll be so-so. Can’t be greatness.
Beyonce has debuted the music video for ‘Run The World (Girls)’ and is releasing her new album, ’4,’ on June 28. The video was premiered after ‘American Idol’ last night.
Columbia Records announced that they will release ’4,’ the fourth solo album for Beyonce, on Tuesday, June 28. The album was recorded over the past two years, and signifies not only her fourth solo effort, but the day of her birth. She also claims the title is a personal gift to her fans, as her fans urged her to name the album for her special number. That Beyonce, always giving back.
The highly anticipated video for ‘Run The World (Girls)’ was also released yesterday, and did not disappoint. The video is pure fire, focused entirely on dance, fashion and theatrics. I love the video – Beyonce proves she’s still the queen, and can indeed run the world. The video was filmed in LA and the Mojave Desert over three days in April. The video is directed by Francis Lawrence and contains over 200 dancers and a ton of exotic animals.
The video is a breath of fresh air. Finally, a singer releases a video with good dancing, good music, and good overall production. Videos are supposed to entertain and accompany the song – it’s got to bring it. And this definitely does.
From the lyrics of ‘Bad Romance,’ Lady Gaga is a free bitch, baby.
The ‘Judas’ singer announced on the BBC’s ‘Graham Norton Show’ that she is no longer dating longtime beau, New York bartender and diet book author Luc Carl.
In an episode airing tonight, Gaga appears on the show in an avant-garde wedding gown and confesses, “I’m not dating. No, there’s no boyfriend. I’m miserably pathetic in my wedding dress.”
“I haven’t been on any dates recently because I have been working so hard and I get very bored very quickly with men. I guess they would get freaked out by this wedding dress,” Gaga said.
Gaga and Carl dated before she became an international sensation several years ago when she was performing on the Lower East Side, where he bartended, but they later split. They then rekindled their romance, but now are off again.
Gaga claims Carl changed her views on sex, though.
“I never actually enjoyed sex until two years ago. It was a proper monogamous relationship in which I felt free enough to trust and I had enough self-love,” she explained. “Sex is the ultimate expression of vulnerability, and for me it was important to know that it was a proper relationship so it was sex as a source of love and nothing else.”
I never even knew Gaga was dating anyone, so this news is kind of shocking for me. I think she needs to focus on herself a bit, although it was nice to know she was dating someone who knew her before she was famous. Oh well, I’m sure she’ll find some other guy – She’s Lady Gaga, after all!
Charlie Sheen and Snoop Dogg are releasing their single ‘Winning’ on Wednesday, reports CTV.
The duo’s track is set to be aired on radio on Tuesday ahead of its release at midnight, and all proceeds from downloads of the song will go to Sheen’s ‘Torpedos Against Tornados’ foundation, set up to help victims of the recent tornadoes which devastated Tuscaloosa last month.
Rob Patterson, a former ‘Korn’ guitarist, co-wrote the track and said: “Look, it’s a good song. But I honestly don’t want people to take it seriously. It’s meant to be fun and entertaining.”
Explaining the lyrical content of the track, Charlie told E! News: “Well, the genesis of the song is about, you know, winning. It’s just everything in life.”
“I think Snoop did a really good job at kind of encapsulating the whole vibe of, you know, the movement.”
Rob was the person who asked Snoop to come into the studio and record a rap for the track, and was surprised by how enthusiastic and quickly Snoop got his part ready after coming over to Charlie’s home studio.
Rob added: “He arrived at 9 p.m. and was out by 11 pm. We were all shocked by how quickly and how professionally he was able to just bang it out.”
The track itself stars off with former ‘Batwatch’ actress Carmen Electra saying “Oh, good evening, Mr. Sheen. Are you winning?” Snoop then interjects, proclaiming “No, he’s smokin’ right now!”
The track will be available in both a family friendly version and a more hardcore rap version, complete with expletives, from iTunes.
This is too much! I can’t even comprehend – wow. Well, it seems like every idiotic idea these days is backed up with the ‘for charity’ excuse, so once again, I can’t say anything bad. Please… support?
Lady Gaga has just released ‘The Edge of Glory,’ the third single off her upcoming album ‘Born This Way.’
Take a listen below and let us know what you think. It’s a different sound for her! More electro/rock, more ballad, more voice-intensive.
This is definitely going to be a smash.

‘Glee’ star Matthew Morrison has confirmed that “someone’s dying pretty soon” on the hit show, reports Billboard.
Morrison, who plays teacher Will Schuester, doesn’t believe his character will bite the dust, though. “I’m working today,” he told Billboard.com from the Fox show’s set, “so I don’t think it’s gonna be me.”
The May 17 episode, which is titled ‘Funeral,’ will definitely see the lost of a character though. Be sure to grab some kleenex.
Speaking of Morrison, his self-titled debut album drops on tomorrow, May 10, and features the single ‘Summer Rain.’ The album will also feature duets with Sting on a gospelized take of his “Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot,” Elton John on a pairing of “Mona Lisas and Madhatters” and “Rocket Man,” and recurring ‘Glee’ guest Gwyneth Paltrow on “Over the Rainbow.” A 22-city solo tour will kick off June 18 in Minneapolis.
“This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, actually, and ‘Glee’ has set me up to be in a position where I can make it a great album and do it right and do it on my own terms,” says Morrison, a seasoned Broadway actor who was also part of the boy band LMNT a decade ago. “I’m one of those people that really wants to do it all. I have a big appetite for life, and I want to do everything I possibly can.”
Hmmm, maybe Morrison is being coy and his character actually is dying? I mean, he’s going to be busy promoting this album and touring, so wouldn’t it be convenient if he left the show now to pursue the solo career? Just a thought.
I guess teaming up with a former reality TV star has its perks.
After collaborating with American Idol Season One winner Kelly Clarkson, country singer Jason Aldean’s fame has propelled him into a star in both Canada and the United States with their single “Don’t You Wanna Stay”.
The single, which was officially released in November 2010, was the #3 most added song at Hot A/C radio in the U.S, and is currently making waves with Canadian radio programmers.
Although Aldean hasn’t become a heavy-hitter in the music industry, he has become a force in the country music world since his debut in 2005. Recently, Billboard named him the #1 Male Country Artist of 2010, and he has sold over 4 million albums.
Check out the exclusive performance Clarkson and Aldean did on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in February.
